Thx for big aurora blob on our borderland (riverside).
From day to day things are getting more kitten riverside is blobbing and hiding behind the walls but aurora isn’t doing the same wink
I personally don’t know why aurora is blaming us for using this cheap tactics and on the other side doing these things all day long…..

What’s wrong with the kind of players like you? I will never ever work towards a skin only because it’s super rare. I will craft/forge it because I LIKE THE SKIN.
There are plenty of other hard to get skins, so why does Anet have to implement more costly skins that only the ones will get who are super rich and capable to craft the other ones (like Volcanus, Foefire)? Just give casuals ONE cool looking and easy to get skin.
Im playing an ele as my main and I dont like the “old” staff skins. So I was happy to see that there will be a new staff skin as a Halloween Event. But I can’t get it because Im not willingly to farm for hours to get 100g+
An Event should have to offer a skin/souvenir for everyone, from the super rich to the player only playing for like 2 hours a day. The free Horns are just ridiculous and barely to see.
Is it so hard to implement 3 skins for more casual player (easy to get but cool looking) and some other skins that are hard to get by opening chests/forging so that everybody is happy?

The more I WvW as a thief, the less I like it.

The main problem with thieves, IMO, is that they just don’t have enough versatility and are way too one-trick-pony. They don’t have many weapons available to them, and the ones they do have don’t operate generally enough and are way too built around specific niches. Moreover, they really don’t have a particularly strong selection of utility skills like thieves should. It is my opinion that thieves are the least well designed class in the game currently, and need some pretty serious revamps.

Try playing an elementalist and then you will see that the Thief is one of the best classes atm.
Nearly every Utility Skill of the Thief has is uses and isn’t simply UP or just dump.
He can be a Support, Damage Dealer, Roamer, etc. and be very good at it.

If you heavily spec into Damage, you’re doing big damage. At the same time you can have 2 slot skills avaible for being supportive. Try the same thing with an ele and you will notice that eles are way more squishy, aren’t doing nearly the same damage and have to spec into dealing damage with every skill, trait point and attribute to be effective (=no room for support skills) and press like 20 buttons in 20 sec. And then there are thiefs and warriors dealing way more damage by only pressing 2 skills, whereas they have more survivability.

Don’t complain about your first world thief problems when there are classes having so many bugs and balancing issues…

Elementalists who won't make use of their Elements

I think that swapping attunements makes an ele more powerfully then staying in 1 element the whole time.
But our traits wont contribute much to this type of playstyle because they don’t sync very well with each other.
On the other hand i think that the 16s cooldown on attunements after you switched to an other is to high. I only use like 2 from 5 abilities of the water, earth and wind attunement because some are just to specific to cast everytime. Then how should i switch to an other element that can help me master a situation when it is on such a long cooldown.
imo there are only two ways of playing an ele:
1. Stay in 1 or 2 elements and spec into the appropriate trait trees OR
2. Switch around all elements but you have to assign 20 or more points into the arcane tree, so that you can switch faster
