It should be obvious what happened. It had nothing to do with SoR. It had to do BG. It was mentioned how hard BG had been farming Clockwork Chaos. The minute it ended, BG went back to WvW. Hence the explosion in PPT. Look at MOS for the proof. Compare it to previous weeks.

Nothing changed with the participation level on SoR. We aren’t going to pull an “all-call” just to combat your “all call”.

There was no server wide “all call” this week. As far as individual guilds I can’t say though, our NA turn out has been fairly nice this week.

GoF done an all-call but that influenced other people to play longer therefore causing an unexpected server wide all-call

I’m pretty sure only a few guilds agreed to that under certain conditions (i.e. not causing server to tank if scores were close), and secondly that was a militia zerg led by a MERC commander past our primetime. I mean, we only had 8 guildees with us there and you can’t really tell people to get lost if you are going to be outmanned by IRON in your home BL.

Yes we won’t be stuck in the typical threesome for a couple of weeks but in reality this change is only short term and we’ll be back to normal after the old T1 servers annihilate the old lower tiers and we’re back to SoR/BG/JQ. Its a shame GvG will be dead pretty soon from borderland bloodlust (increased passive stat bonuses massively skew the outcome of a 15v15 or a 20v20), it might’ve been what will would have kept us interested for those weeks.

No offense, but lolwut? When has MERC done anything but blob and refuse GvGs?

Tarkus isn’t MERC (or at least I didn’t think he was a guild…..). So please stop assuming he speaks for our entire guild
