Stop blaming the “condition meta”, the only class who plays condi is necromancer because arenanet left us with only this.
crying about necromancer is stupid because it is still the first guy focus in team fight and has no active defense to shut down the focus fire. If you leave the necromancer free cast you deserve to be corrupt and loose.
That was exactly the same for necromancer before patch if you go 1v1 vs ele as a condimancer you deserved to loose.
shorter CD and warrior deals 50% less dmgs under endure pain effect so it will not use to turn warrior to unkillable power creep but as a defensive CD.
It’s no dream amulet because it has no precision or, more importantly, expertise but main power (which isn’t as good). But will replace Carrion I think.
We are not taking the curse line so we don’t really need precision and why do you want expertise? Your condition will be dispelled or reapply before fading out.
thieves, warrior and power burst dmgs are good counter to reaper and reaper does not have active defences so it is still the first guy focus.
i don’t think you can avoid taking signets because there are so many class/spec spamming boon but thats a good change, making corrupt boon stronger will punch hard this bunker meta.
So finally the problem is not the matchmaking but the fact that skill cap and league position are not correlated because players can grind the league.
It was meaningless before too!
Don’t dream, legendary means nothing in this game. There are to much exploit allowing to grind to legendary without skill or basic understanding of the conquest mode.
This league fails in one important thing, put in order players in relation to their skill cap, which is the purpose of a league. Furthermore everyone is starting in amber league, forcing people to play a bunch of awfull game before enjoying some good games. And finally this meta and this class imbalance…
may be fix the population imbalance first could have been a good idea…

For your information premades are already farming Stronghold, stacking bunker and support class in purpose to make creeps unkillable, they rush to the lord in 3minutes .
Hammer DMG are fine, if scraper is in a good spot atm it is because of its sustain with a dps amulet in a bunker meta. This sustain come from reactive armor, HGH, good protect uptime and stealth making him hard to focus.
I am not really sure scraper could be in a better spot if meta was more bursty.
If there is something that need to be tuned down on scraper it is the boon spam but it is clearly not the only class farting boon all day long atm.

yep you can do this with a dagger because it hits harder, faster and give you a better LF regen.

people really expect to break 10% of HP using axe auto attack when you can use Ghastly Claws which if all hit will break the threshold?
the elem will have to be afk to break the 10% treshold with necromancer axe (Ghastly Claws or not)…
This game mode needs a rework, people need to prevent the opposite team defense by killing players and not by over healing/buffing the creep. If not it is just a PvE mode and has nothing to do in sPvP.

you think a rework of DS will kill Ele and make reaper OP in the meta so it will make warrior and thief usefull again because there are still pretty good vs reaper.
Hammer guardian is fine, they should rework the shield.
nobody tells you to not take DS poor victim ele, but DS has to work differently thats all.
It is called a REWORK, of course if DS is modified Devs will give you something else to manage condition, don’t be stupid, try to be constructive plz…
nobody says it needs nerf but a rework, for me there are 2 ways:
-pulsing resistance 3sec every 3sec so offensive dispell could be usefull in this spam boon game
or
-immunity to condition when you reach 25% hp so a well timed dispell allow elem to disengage out, heal and come back
they used to have separated queues and nobody to play with so people kittened.
Now they don’t have separated queues but a league system to grind so people kittened.
This league system is just a way to bring farm in PvP because the purpose is to climb your league position from a trash tier to your supposed MMR tier. So league is supposed to be relevant after 50 or more boring games but then you can exploit the system and party with a lower tier player and keep climbing your league position over your MMR bracket.
Finally it is just in line with the rest of the game: PvE blob farming event and world boss, WvW Karma train (even though WvW is dead) and now league farming for shiny butterfly wings…

What happens when your position in league is not in correlation with your MMR. Arenanet just brings something more to farm in PvP nothing else, in a game they said there will be no farming…
In a normal PvP game you are supposed to play qualifying games that will help calculating your position in league with your MMR and soloQ and teamQ are not match together…
Hard counter are always a bad idea design because it is frustating for the players countered and it bring to the game a stone scissors paper meta.
For a long time now, build and skills are more important than the player’s skill and only leave to spvp teamplay to counter build.
Diamond skin is just the visible part of pvp design problems in gw2, there are lot more: mobility imbalance in a game mode where rotations are mandatory, zerk builds making auto attack spam too powerfull encouraging low gameplay, fire and air sigil proc stupid efficiency in zerk for 0 skill needed and more generally too much auto cast, proc, OP passive (diamond skin) etc etc
the big difference is: in gw1 you had a first class and a second class so you can do combo or fill the gap of the first class with the second one.
+ all the team build (iway, spike…) were weaker than balance team build.
In gw2 if your class/build lack of something you are screwed so the game becomes a paper/scisor game and the team build are just the addition of the 3 OP meta class/build.
This is too easy to stack burning, so nerf this and make it works like GW1 desease (contagious).
Sure necro sigil is good vs burn guard but good burning guard will throw 10 stacks of burning and then just do a rotation of block, immune, dodge and if the necro is off cd on staff 4 he can’t do anything.
At start of the game condition was for attrition build and burn a power build condition, now you can burst your target with condition (thx to burning) and the only solution against that is teamplay and team purge, something you don’t really have in solo queue.
plz we all know that WvW is totally PvE…
GW1 = random arenas (only solo queues) + team arenas (premade vs premade)
This system was clearly a success.
GW2 = all together in one queue 4Head

the problem with rampage is not the damage but the dmg + CC + 3 stacks of stability + free stomp + be under berserker stance.
It is like a necromancer could with lich form do dmg + fear you 2 times + have 3 stack of stab + stomp + be in DS.
Arenanet just throw an unstested patch bugged as hell, i am sure PvE boys are happy but in the same time PvP and WvW are completely broken.

Necro does not use it, you don’t need a fire proc on telegraphed auto attack when you just have to send back their burning to your opponent xD
But where is the pressure warrior? Where is the shockaxe or linebacker from guildwars 1 that stays on a target and deals consistent damage and is rewarded for staying the the fray and survive the fight as it progresses?
Where is the Monk keeping him alive? you can’t play the same way as gw1 because this is not gw1, everyone is dps now there is no linebacker there is no healer.
- Objectives don’t tick Score every 15min, they tick WxP. SM: 700 WxP / Keeps: 500 WxP / Towers: 350 WxP / Camps: 250 WXP. The tick is handed to all players that are currently assigned to this map-instance in a 15 min period. A player that switches the map-instance will not get rewarded for the next 2 ticks. Switching the map itself will not get punished.
So a guy AFK on the map earn free WxP…

Its just a new way of using it and Anet said as well people have been doing this before the changes so it just makes it more possible for everyone to use it instead of just a few that know how to bug it before.

No, the duel profession stacked hammer train had control over their characters. The old meta favored 2 professions and left all the other hanging in the wind. I am sorry you preferred a meta set around 2 professions. I for one prefer more value given to others and especially those outside the GWEN. AoE CC is no more or less spammed then stability. You can cry spam all you like, they are either strategic to game play or not.
Right now, thanks to this meta, ranged are able to totally shut down melee’s moves and abilities. In the old one, ranged just had to get a good positionning and awereness and melee was just shuting down the bad ranged.
