any devs out there who can tell us if this is possible? if its not possible please tell us all pvpers about it
Greetings, since we already have SoloQ, why dont devs implement Team VoiceChat in game? I think it will be easier this way to communicate with the random player that just joined in to your team.
For the past few days I’ve been solo queueing, most of players i’ve been with asking “What to do with this?”, “Help! Im being double killed all the time!”, “Help! I need Help on our node! its being decap!” with that said, I think devs should implement some team voicechat, or party voicechat, because its easy to communicate this way to players rather than press “Enter” and type a long message saying “Sorry I cant help you, im being double teamed in the node I am trying to contest”, you cant right?
Any ideas guys? what about your decision devs? We want to know, I want to know.
@Topic: In my opinion, PvE and PvP should remain seperated. PvE makes the game, it delivers the lore, the characters and dungeons, PvP is rather a feature, but an important one. You shouldn’t be able to skip parts of PvE by playing constantly PvP. That wouldn’t work, not in Gw2.
I’d be fine if you get skill points in PvP. That would help PvP players to get a smooth start in PvE, as they can learn immediatly the skills they want to get. Maybe some little gold for a tournament would be nice too, as it helps everyone, casual pvp players and high end pvp players. But definitly no equipment and no exp.
Well I know it should be seperated but atleast they should give PvE rewards that are useful for pvpers that wants to do PVE when nothing else to do in mists, like give us exotics or random items that can be used, like for crafting, plus I mean it would encourage some pvers to do pvp, since pvp is only being played by same players with 2 accounts, will you have any fun playing with same players? or maybe lets say lets pretend we dont know its their 2nd accounts, plus its a great idea to make PvP scene bigger by inviting more players to it, while giving PvE a good balance when pvp players starts to play pve too

It would be awesome but then no one would pve before 80. They would target achives in pvp till 80 then move on to pve/wvw.
but none have the time much to get on 80 as it takes years
Interesting idea but then the door would be open for the opposite progression:
PvP progression from PvE/WvW. Also the reward system would need an overhaul else fresh 80s would emerge from the mists poor and in level 1 gear…
its easy to get geared, you can earn laurels and buy trinkets from it and farm mobs to get gears or do wvwvw
You can get laurels in PvP. Did not notice anyone saying that.
ohh yea you can get laurels on PvP, also you can use laurels to buy trinkets, as well getting geared on PvE is quick and easy but it takes time to farm

my gawd best thief EU
LOL.
You sir, op, are funny. People spending too much time in PvP? You want the few remaining PvP players to be motivated to play PvE? You want to kill PvP for good?
this one example of a stupid post
I think on the contrary, it would draw more players to come and try it, because they wouldn’t feel like putting the rest of the game on hold while they enjoy a couple of solo queue and hot join. No need to turn them to full time pvper, but at least if I invite a couple of pve friend to a pvp game, they would gain something out of it.
The only incentive I have right now with PvP (apart from the fun I get from it) is that I’ve won a Black and White dye from their chests, meaning my brain wants more dye to make more gold to help my PvE side.
this one is a good post because he knows how to read and is not an elitist
This is why PvP is not fun because players like Blimm just want to ruin it, while others want PvP to improve by inviting players from pve as well, because there are good pve players who knows how to pvp too but cant simply waste time on PvP due to players like Blimm.
one evidence that I got is that
my guildies want to make a team to join on a tournament and this is what I’ve seen
My Guildie 1: Lets make a team for tournament
My Guildie 2: No because there’s alot of trolls in there (Example: Blimm)

I know it is like that, but I really hope devs will do something about this too so atleast PvP players are not bound only for PvP and can enjoy PvE content too since most of PvP players spend too much time on PvP..
devs will not do something about 2nd accounts
-First They earn money from the 2nd accounts
-Secondly its like a new account (so meaning its LIKE considered as Another player)
-Third you can do it too
-Fourth devs can implement something else about ladder decay so they will lose their rank if they dont play
-Fifth they can remove the leaderboards and replace it with TEAM leaderboards and make a Team Roster with its own rating
-Sixth implement other stuffs (who knows what stuffs are we talking about)
Greetings everyone, so past few days I’ve been playing Firefall, and now it has come to my senses that firefall has good structured PvP same on Guild Wars 2, but there are difference.
here are the difference
Things you can gain on Firefall PvP
- You can earn crystites(PvE currency to buy items) same as Gold/Silver/Copper in Guild wars 2
- Battle Arena Voucher (PvP token to buy Titles or some stuffs)
- Accord Merit Point (It involves around PvE stuffs)
- Random Raw materials (Crafting materlials you can use for PvE)
- Experience ( For your character progression to unlock skills on PvE) (You can get experience whether win or lose)
So pretty much you get things that can help you out in PvE without being bounded on one game type, if you level up through PvP and get bored with it, then simply head to PvE and enjoy PvE since you already get to earn stuffs that are for PvE when winning on PvP.
Here’s what you can get on Guild Wars 2 PvP
- Glory Points
- Chests (If you win)
- nothing involve in PvE
-Laurels(Dailies, used to buy Trinkets / Thanks Tenebrous)
If im missing something let me know
so the thought of that, if you get bored on PvP, what can you do on PvE in Guild wars 2 with a level 2 character? or what can you do on WvW with a level 2 character?
- level up your character upto 80 (You have to spend time through it meaning take a break from PvP)
or
- leech on zergs in WvW
or
- farm stuffs and start crafting
Thing is, I am wondering how can character progress through pve by just doing PvP?
because if players can gain something from PvP, meaning it would encourage other players to play PvP, more players on PvP, big PvP competitive scene, as well when PvPers got nothing else to do in 3am morning, what else can you do? AFK on mists?
I think it would be a great idea if PvP players can gain something in PvP that is useful on PvE so that they can progress their characters and gain some achievements too.
You guys have any thoughts?
