The majority of the folks who post jumping puzzle cheat videos are using asura mesmers and rangers. Probably because the little asura toon leaves the most map visible, but if you really just want to steamroll briskly across the land, small toons feel like they move much faster which is quite satisfying.
Filtering out already-unlocked dyes in the TP!
I bought HoT, so there’s a max character boost burning kitten in my pocket. Who to spend it on? I was thinking I should choose a profession that is miserable to level, but quite fun to play once it has all the toys. Who does that sound like to you? Mesmer? Elementalist? Something else?
I don’t mind being a glass cannon so long as I get to be a CANNON. My favorite pastime is steamrolling maps on my ranger, and she does generally use a longbow and two felines – “pewpews and mewmews” – with a sword for smacking around mobs that don’t die to a single Rapid Fire.
I also don’t mind taking that fresh 80 straight back to the noob zones to do map clears until I feel like I know what I’m doing. I just want to use the boost on a profession that feels much more fun at 80 than it does while levelling. Suggestions?
the usual hypothesis is that since the Pale Tree was planted on what was effectively a human graveyard, she was able to use human (and canine) bodies as ‘templates’ for her children – in a similar manner to the Blighting Pods using prisoners or corpses as their templates.
That’s disgusting! Headcanon accepted :-D
The Pale Tree venerates Ventari, not Ronan. Is there a lore explanation for why Sylvari resemble humans instead of centaurs? (I get that the real reason is six-limbed salad would have been a little TOO alien for the user base, but I’m still wondering if they came up with an in-game reason).
