My worst memory of siege warfare was the 8+ hour siege of our west keep way back when swirling was still a thing. FA definitely knows and loves their siege warfare but I find that to be the most boring aspect of the game. The same types of things still happen today, only not quite as long because of the removal of swirling. I haven’t noticed siege creep because I haven’t spent much time being useful in WvW this week, but seems everyone in Mumble is complaining about how slow you guys take our borderlands. Please use more omegas, thanks!

Mag and SoS are in a perpetual state of limbo. You can call us tier 2.5 servers with completely opposite primetimes. SoS or Mag drop we roflstomp, we rise we get stomped due to coverage issues.
SoS or us can’t really complain about the bad matchups or the random matchups. If it were reverted back to the old system it would be Mag/SoS/YB or EB(?) and we would be complaining about staleness/boredom and pvdoor aswell because no one has the Oceanic presence you guys have while our NA is stronger I presume. This is a kitten ed if you do kitten ed if you don’t situation.

I think facing new guilds and servers each week is fun, regardless of the ppt at the end of the day.

TCBL on reset was awesome facing NAGA,EP,ESP,NOPE. Too bad SoS was a no show on that borderland(except for the vultures that took our east side camps instead of putting some pressure on their west side but whatever), which allowed for TC to focus solely on Mag.

FA should be thanking Maguuma for getting rid of the waypoints, fortifies, and siege at all DB keeps. Instead you tried to backdoor us at the Eternal keep but got sandwiched by both servers(it did however allow you to snag SM). Not that any of that matters go ahead hit our side we’ll gladly welcome the fights and encourage them.

That TG zerg in MagBL was huge, then I saw that RET Zerg in Mag BL and my head exploded lol.
Was fun though, still had garrison when I logged off. I for one like fighting outmanned, hopefully the regular Mags will push on a regular basis this week to sort of keep it competitive during our primetime. SEA time however will be lolworthy T_T.

This has nothing to do with wvw participation. During NA prime time our servers are fairly even. Just saying you have a huge group mentality. The big elephant in this room is you have more SEA/Oceanic coverage which is where your “greater WvW participation” occurs, I’d say compared to DB we are holding up much better against it(but I hate to even mention that because it turns into a cesspool of hate/crying so that is as far as I’ll go with that).

Not to disrespect the FA that do run by themselves and in small groups. I’d just love to run into more of you guys. Since this match-up is going to FA, barring some miracle, it would be great to run into more 1v1 or 2v1’s from FA.

And are you insinuating I have Mad Cow disease?

FA’s solution to a problem is to bring more people. I guess that’s what happens when you’ve been in T2 for so long. At least Ehmry Bay has respectable groups who don’t engage you when they see you 1v1(except that kitten Rekz d/d ele who waited for me to stomp an FA at 3k health before stomping me).

Heh, DB’s rise is inevitable now (whether that is a good thing or a bad you’ll find out soon enough), I’m sure your SEA crew is ecstatic about the upcoming competition from TC and FA. It is unfortunate us Mags(or Yak’s for that matter) just can’t match your size during that time period.

It seemed only yesterday where we had that great Christmas week battle between our three servers(some of the most fun I had). We (DB and Mag) both fell and rose,to some extent, and both somehow came out of the onslaught of Kaineng , Tarnished Coast, and Fort Aspenwood alive.
Had some good 1v1’s, small skirmishes, and large scales battles/defenses. As I won’t be able to play until reset good luck to DB may your endeavors in T2 be full of TC and FA loot bags. Maybe we will meet again one day on even terms.

As to Kaineng it seems their meteroic rise to T1 has lost steam. Hopefully them dropping will lead to an even slightly better matchup. I still anticipate KN has a fairly large SEA presence even with WM leaving. Well, I think Friday’s reset will be interesting

Maguuma has had two lackluster resets in row, after a great reset showing the first week of the matchup. We had no borderlands queued on reset(I’ll attribute this to the earlier reset time) and Mag BL had at most 20-25 following duke. We tried to fend off EA and company at EK to prevent last weeks scenario and it worked for a little until they overwhelmed us there and Yak’s already took WK with their overwhelming force. Some ridiculous battles at SE camp all on the losing end for us mags(oh well), you had some great boon up time EA. It seemed we were greatly outnumbered on Mag BL or no one was listening to or following the commander. Atleast we got garrison Waypoint first

Congrats DB on your new transfers, it will be interesting and new fighting some tier 1 guilds although I assume the PPT will be in their favor. Just hoping for some good new fights and defenses, I personally love fighting outmanned although not many share that same sentiment.

BTW what timezone are these new guilds that DB got?
