It’s amazingly ridiculous how dense some people here are.
No, people don’t want things “on a silver platter”, no people don’t want to do nothing for everything.
What people want is to play the new content with the new spec’s, not with the same build that they’ve used for the past several years in PVE. You can count on most hp’s being locked behind masteries for sure which means by the time you have all your traits/utilities unlocked , you’ll have explored most or if not, a lot of HOT already. Exactly how is that supposed to be fun? If “progression” is supposed to be fun, exactly how is running around with an unfinished traitline fun?
Just make the traits/utilities require ~100hp’s and lock all the skins behind 1000hp’s or whatever.
Thanks a lot for getting this up!
Thanks even more for change to staff 3!
Also, does quickdraw and staff work together now?
And will regeneration boon apply astral force?
This thread has already over 2000 views, this alone says how badly people want to see the upcoming changes to prepare for launch.
The fact that nothing can be revealed until launch is completely unfair relative to other classes (save engi) but more importantly, it’s worrisome.
I can only come up with 2 reasons as to why:
1. Changes haven’t been finalized or even remotely close to being finished to say anything concrete.
2. Devs assume the changes will cause a backlash and don’t want any outrage before launch.
Even worse is, once launch has arrived we can get used to the usual 6 month update cycle to potentially change anything that could have been changed from feedback at this time.
Even even worse is that we can’t plan how to build our Druid meanwhile because no one knows if you fundamentally changed anything from the previous Druid. Now we will have to do that at launch.
Even even even worse is that the economy changes will probably make it more expensive to gear a druid had you announced Druid changes before economy changes.
This change will accomplish the following:
1) Turret engis will still kill inexperienced players.
2) Turret engis will now not kill people that are inexperienced.
As it should be.
Fact: an AI build where the player does minimal work should not be viable in competitive PvP, ever.
