I really hope SAB will be back soon, but theres not really been any official word on it, and everyone thought it’d be back in April, too.
I did however hear that a dev mentioned back when it was actually here that it was meant to be recurring content. There were also spaces for worlds 3 & 4 i think, so its likely that it’ll be back sooner or later.
Maybe if we all get together, and run at the entrance to SAB at once we can break through?

“use me as ram!”
I support this idea xD.
While i can agree that the concept of restricting specific loot to endlevel grouping isn’t part of the core of gw2, i do think we need some more end-game content.
Its pretty easy to hit level 80, and what then? As soon as i’d hit level 80, it took me only a few weeks of casual play to get kitted out in full exotic armor. You can go for ascended armor, but this just comes down to a gold grind until you can buy materials to get the required crafting level.
Thats a big issue i have with gw2. In the end-game, everything comes down to gold grinding. And once you have ascended armor and weapons, thats it, except for going for a ridiculously expensive legendary weapon. But after that, there is nothing better to find.
I think we need higher-level gear, which is harder to get than ascended armor and can’t be bought with gold. Right now, i think a ‘maxed-out’ character is a bit easy to get to, and few goals remain beyond that.Or you could you know gather the material yourself. The game has always been a lot more fun when not rushed. Getting the materials yourself will take a lot longer… no doubt but its a lot more fun then farming gold imho. You get to play different content you get to play in different area and not repeat the same content over and over again. you’ll also be getting a little gold in the process together with the mats.
anyhow up to you just a little suggestion.
As for new maps, definitely new maps I would rather they’re not all level 80 but I have a feeling thats exactly what we’re getting hence why LS S2 can be done at level 80.
As for difficulty of the mobs well you dont need to over level them for that. Veteran karkas for example are pretty hard to solo, it can be done and its actually a good idea as long as it doesnt have exclusive rewards.
Well, i’d love to, but the problem is that i don’t know how to do this without going dozens of times slower than the TP. I have no idea how to consistently go finding these fine crafting materials so it doesn’t take me a full hour to make a single insigna, and i barely know where to get linen as a level 80 character.
Agreed, maybe new maps don’t all need to be level 80. I’d just like some more variety in my gameplay, something that isn’t dungeon running or map exploration.
The amount of PvE fights that can’t be solved by either just standing around spamming my grenade line at it or stacking in a corner, throwing down my reflect and lobbing grenades, is pretty small.
I don’t think over-leveling mobs is a good idea for this. But we need more complicated boss mechanics, that can’t be solved by a zerk DPS spam. Im going to pull a quick example out of my sleeve here – a boss that has four braizers in the room, and takes no damage/strongly reduced damage unless you light up the majority of these with logs and kindling you chop/gather in the area.
Currently, also, the amount of it which i actually get something useful out of aside from a once-a-day chest, is really small.
Heck, simply the amount of things i can actually still call useful has gotten pretty small.
I have nothing to go for, no goals to strive for, except a single silly weapon or increasing an AP counter that frankly i don’t really care about.

Well, it was said that the money would go to help those hurt by Scarlet in her attack on Divinity’s Reach. Neither Lion’s Arch nor the Tower of Nightmares lies in or very near to Divinity’s Reach, and the money would probably go towards restoring homes and such for those who lived in Divinity’s Reach at the time of the attack.
It remains to be seen wether or not Lions Arch will be rebuilt and restored to its former glory, and if so how long this would take. But if it is rebuilt someone will most likely pull the remnants of The Breachmaker out of the water, or at least clean up those scattered along the coastline of the harbor.
However, this might very well be part of the next Living Story release, and currently they’re working on the permanent April Feature pack instead. Which i am kindof glad about.
^ Says Menzies himself :P.
But, @OP, we’ve pretty much confirmed that it is a dragon, presumably Mordremoth, the Jungle Dragon, since the jungle is where we went underground in the end cinematic and we saw a big dragon-ish maw of teeth open. Also, in the cinematic after Scarlets death, dragon corruption is visible on her face.
Presumably the being that tormented Scarlet as described in her journal, was this dragon – when she went to the Asura lands to open her mind to catch a glimpse of the Eternal Alchemy (from what i remember), opening her mind would have given the dragon full and free access and so he took control.
Oh please tell me you can remember where that mention happened.
I´m eagerly looking forward to any news regarding SAB, even if its just a drunken´s story of a myth regarding the legend of a hint about SAB.
Come on A-Net, please tell us something. Anything! I mean, even Lord Vanquish´s twitter account has been abandoned since octobre last year. That for sure cannot be a good sign. Please don´t let the greatest addition to GW2 die so silent. (to the SAB-haters: Simply don´t play it. You may go brainless zerging to farm for lootbags, but that isnt everyone´s favorite either.)
Pretty please?
Here we go :-). https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Minecraft-Expansion-Confirmed/first#post3870019
Somebody inside even mentioned SAB by now.
Im running off to Queensdale now to look at the sun xD.
Edit: Looks very spherical to me..

yay … no reaction … no statement …
Anet just ignored SAB :/
On the contrary, if they weren’t bringing back SAB at all i think they would have made a statement. If they aren’t bringing it back and thats a firm decision, theres little reason to keep it a secret and keep a significant portion of the playerbase with false hope.
I do believe world 3 and 4 are coming. Question is, when? :p
And i did pick up a mention of the sun turning square somewhere in-game around the forums not too long ago…
Fact is, legendaries are long-range end-game items. These things are meant to take a very long time to play, and owning one is for many one of the final goals in making progress in-game. Once you hit 80 on one or two characters, most people will start working towards making ascended gear or getting a legendary – this is where you’ll need all these crafting materials. And because so many people are working for them because, well, they’re just what many save up for once you’ve gotten a specific distance in-game, demand for them is huge, and prices will rise significantly untill a supply-and-demand equilibrum is established.
If everyone were to get their own legendaries, it’d be more of a thing you just wait to get as you play the game doing other stuff, just because they take so long to make. They’re meant to be (up to ridiculously) hard to get, becaues they are the best items you can find in-game. As stated before, legendaries are more or less vanity items. They show the fact you’ve hit end-game.
Twilight isn’t getting harder to get. More people just want it.
Probably a very short answer, but i haven’t been able to find it anywhere else.
I can’t directly find it in the rules, but i’m still a bit hesitant, so i wanted to ask here.
I’ve played other games before, and in many its against the rules to post website links in chat (for example, to youtube videos). I regularly host dance parties though and the ability to link to specific songs (for example, the Hampster dance for the bobblehead event) would be very useful.
So i’m asking here now – is it allowed to post non-wiki website links in in-game chat?
