Rename it to “I win” and I think we got something.
Unlike Thieves, Warrior have a limited ways of handling conditions.
Mending takes care of 3 conditions
Shake it off takes care of another condition
Dolyak Signet and Balanced Stance gives stability and are stun breakers
Oh and Signet of Stamina gets rid of all conditions on you at once.
Yeah, warriors handle conditions insanely well now.
I would totally play another class with heavy armor, a greatsword, and a rifle. But hey warrior is the only class that lets me do that sooo…
While I support that warrior is the most dps right now in the game. Almost all the classes can do decent DPS. So I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Find a class that fits the way you want to play and play it.
I rather like the 20 in Arms for the might stacks on crit. Then again I don’t use axes either, and use GS/rifle/bow because there’s always that one boss or creep that can’t be fought in close combat.
My suggestion.
Add a CharrSword.
Make it unfathomly huge like the charrzooka skin.
I really don’t like any of the cultural weapons myself. They just look kind-of plain to me. I was kind-of hoping for some animation in them, but to each their own.
Man, if I really cared about conditions that much, let’s use a warrior for example.
Mending, Shake It Off, Signet of Stamina, and maybe Soldiers runes if I really was desperate.
A lot of classes can just take conditions off completely, without resorting to speccing in any certain traits or stats. Just skills.
And if I have damage on my side, even with those skills I can take out a condition spammer before he can reapply those conditions onto me.
Or even if I don’t have damage, then I would use stuns, knockdowns, fears, etc. instead.
But maybe I just play warrior too much.
It seems the last spike on the armageddon gloves has a floating spike. I notice that some smaller charr don’t have that issue, it’s probably because I am a maxxed out sized charr.
Thought I would bring this up. Most people don’t notice this, so not a huge issue, but I love having lots and lots of spikes on my charr.
What warrior is running healing power over damage anyhow?
If we’re talking about sPvP, why would you run Healing Signet instead of Mending? Even then, why would you run healing power on top of that?
This seems silly.
I can’t take WvW vids seriously when it comes to roamers. Especially heavily edited ones. No idea if the opponents are level 2-80 and what they are specced as.
Oh, well great. I wasn’t aware of that. If I infuse them with different infusions can I wear them or did I just waste 35 laurels?
So I bought a second ring of red death from the laurel vendor, after all I have two ring slots. And I can’t seem to equip it. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug? The wiki doesn’t say anything about only being able to equip just one ascended ring, and I haven’t seen any other text that says I can only equip one.
Thanks!
Get a hammer, get a banner skill.
Tactics will buff banners to the point of giving them an AOE heal.
lol buff warriors.
Play PvP with warriors some time and tell me how buffed they are.
I mean, it’s not really viable over other options, but it’s at the very least usable. If you want to KB spam someone, Kick+hammer+stomp.
I actually ran around sPvP with Rampage, Kick, Stomp, Banner, bunk statted build. To try the new ANET’s meta out.
And hey, after 30 points into strength, Kick at 15 seconds was kind-of neat… Yup, totally worth those 30 points in strength.
Truth is, it seems to me that people want PvE rewards/Ascended gear/etc without changing their way of gaming.
actually i think people are just trying to find a way to make playing the same 5 maps repeatedly in the same single game mode feel more rewarding than playing 200 games to watch a number go from 40 to 41.
In all fairness, it seems to have worked for LoL and Starcraft.
Apples and oranges and all that, but still.
That is, PvE players could do either a daily or monthly and get a laurel out of it.
Would you want this? Would it be too much of an injection of low-skilled players?
Hey, I just wanted to know how people thought about the bosses in events, champions or veterans included. However excluding dragons, as they are another breed of boss.
While I always enjoy going through an event and fighting a gigantic ooze or fire-breathing broodmother, I personally feel that with the way they work now, smaller groups have a great time with them, but larger groups they become way too boring and die way too fast.
If I would make a suggestion, more bosses need more crowd control effects. Sort of like the abomination event in Orr, where he charges through people, knocking them over.
What does everyone here think?
Please no loot talk here!
