TO DESOLATION & ANYONE LOOKING TO MAKE A TRANSFER IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

We WILL/DESO drop to silver league either sooner or later, either way we will get great fights in prime time regardless of if any more guilds leave deso.

We will not get more guilds joining our server due to our high pop/ transfer fee cost etc and the fact we are a pve server with guilds leaving….regardless of how good we think our community is.

I dont personally care for the ppt i just want great fights against great guilds from any server / league.

Ok so some days i wanna blob up and i look forward to following INS’s pain train when i can, some days i just wanna do guild stuff.

Its deso’s community and flexibility to cater for all play styles that has me hooked. I played in NA for the first 6 months of the game release, i know what’s out there, queues, blobs, abilities and lag…..i don’t miss any of it.

We/INVI raid in primetime/evenings (UK) like most of our deso guilds. I look forward to these events everyday and often check the time until our raids start on more than one occasion (looks at watch …aghhh hurry up). I love the possibility we will be on the same border/map as other great deso guilds…… i salute you all and if any more guilds decide to leave you will be missed.

With INVI’s recent performances fighting VII, OPT, CoN, SC, BULL and SiN we are feeling real good right now and have had some of the best fights ever.

If we dont drop remember this….. INVI or YOU will get to fight every guild going in the EU……how kittening epic is that!!!!!!

You guys/guilds better stay on deso, this opprtunity may not come up again.

To all the guilds that have left………..you made a grave mistake, you had your chance to prove yourselves …. & you chose to fight weaker guilds and declined against the superior ones …..says it all really.

I personally wanna fight better guilds, win or lose to fight VII again, scnd or mya, TUP, INC, VcY…….. will be the greatest test any organized competitive player could wish for.

p.s ONCE all the pve’rs have farmed the ascended/ Tequilla dragoon they will be back in wvw and you will see the commanders liek myself tagging back up during the day.

Anet keeps adding in things that feed the zerg in 1 spot mentality. The only reason we want he cap increased is because Anet is not offering any other plans to change the zerg meta that is WvW. On the contrary they keep adding in things the encourage it. The whole point here is that we would like a change that brings about more enjoyable play instead of the 100 people stand in 1 spot and try to press 1 over and over thing we have now.

I agree, and like I said before (personally) I am fine with the 5-man AoE cap….But I don’t want to be able to only hit 5 while 25 can hit me all at once.

So there needs to be some give/take involved…IE: a defensive 5-limit dmg cap to offset the offensive AoE cap.

Stop standing around on your own and get in a group then? :-P

If anything the block/dodge helps the skilled players not the zerglings.

If the frontline manage to absorb more “hits” with blocks/dodges, thus for the guys that were unable too dodge the attacks, a portion of the aoe is “used up” on those blocks/evades.

Sure in a random zerg you might see a few blocks and dodges, but nowhere near what a guild group does.

Promotes better play imo. You are saving your teammates getting hit by attacks by dodging them yourself – which in most cases your doing naturally anyways.

Agree…. maybe the ranged and melee will now stay together and dodge though a zerg together holding hands XD

INVI had an awesome raid tonight on AM BL. I was hoping for more fights against BULL like yesterday, however we settled for fights vs the mighty SiN and MMO plus militia.

Guess BULL was on another BL tonight, however we did notice 1 BULL char player in ruins jumping up and down….maybe he was cheering us on? XD

I hardly see how my allegations are bogus when VII were engulfed inside CoN and barely visible, it was only until you were pushed back and stood off each other that i/we could see the sure difference in numbers.

I was leading INVI raid tonight on Kodash BL……fighting vs CoN and VII.,,,,then eventually one fo the many sfr blobs.

VII Guild must of been 25 players max, reasonable amount indeed for us to test ourselves….but they were busy fighting CoN.

CoN had alot more and bloodlust buffs……was nice to sit back and watch the fight and at first i was patient and disciplined not to interfere.

Not one of you VII players died for a long time, i could barley see you in amongst that blob of CoN….you were in there though it was bloody awesome to watch your movement and coordination.

VII you are class and your resilience against those numbers which also had buffs was great to watch. You were pushing CoN back at one point and then you started to lose 2 or 3 players…..so i decided to call it and charged INVI through a veil to wreck CoN ….after wiping them we had to get our 2 dead up….at this point you turned on us….haahah i kinda expected that seen as we rudely interrupted your fight….but it was going on forever you must admit.

We are still nowhere near were we are as a guild but i hope you agree we put up a half decent fight against you.

Hope you have a decent matchup next week and was nice to try and fight you.

It was the battle you were having against 2 of deso’s guild groups COIN & GoD i think…near north east bay water edge……..shame you failed to return the favor in ruins….. however you were probably not aware that we had lost numbers and been fighting there for days….so i will let you keep hold of your man points for now. :-). Apologies for not challenging you to a GvG however our squad GvG commander is on holiday for 2 weeks…..minus man points to us :-)

ONS Guild …..even with your low numbers you still stood strong most of the time and did not feel to run away or blob up with other groups (plus man points for you)….just recruit more players and hopefully you will be able to fight us and bigger guild groups in the near future.

You guessed wrong. I do not recall anybody asking me/us for help. But I see how you could think that since we had fortunate timing more than once. I am not sure which fight you are referring to when you mention spawn advantage but iirc we had more than one encounter – at least one of which was in NW camp, wasn’t it?

I’m bad at counting so I won’t even try to guesstimate your size but I’m more than happy to take your word for it as I am sure you’ll take my word for what is stated above.

Again, I am not sure which encounter you are specifically refering to. In general,
I don’t like to steal fights and I don’t like fights stolen from me. So I usually wait politely to see if the fight has somewhat even odds and if the numbers change. In the NW-camp encounter I thought I saw a significant amount of reinforcements arriving for your side which is when I decided to push. It turned out not to be as many as I had thought – I am terrible at counting.

Since it’s hard to communicate via chat while we’re fighting my decision to help or not to help other guilds is largely based on gut-feeling. That means that they might sometimes be cross with me for watching them wipe even tough they would’ve appreciated my help and sometimes they might be cross with me for ruining a nice fight (we do care deeply about nice fights ). I know I feel that way sometimes.

EDIT: Oh, I see you were talking about that short encounter in ruins. Maybe that wasn’t clear to everyone who read your post :S. I am pretty sure Denied wasn’t thinking of that particular fight from that night. I doubt that anybody would’ve been too reluctant to notice the significant amount of non-[DiVa]s pew-pewing there that I did not seem like that many when I decided to engage – but again, I am seriously bad at counting. That one was certainly not a fight I’d brag about.

I was only talking about the ruins fight mate, glad you realized this now. anyway check out the video, note we were fighting in the ruins for alot longer than when the video/recording was started.

I was not leading in this raid btw, im sure you will agree we did pretty well considering lack of local waypoint, numbers and superior endless encounters. …AM ….and your grousp of CNTK , puggies and yoruselves.

NW encounter you should of pushed with both groups but i understand now you may have felt you didn’t want to interrupt another guild if you thought they could handle themselves…….. maybe next time when/if we encounter in a match -up we could set-up a GVG. Take care bro.

Tonight was prolly the only night we meet guild groups running alone from desolation… didnt take you long to bring that blobb together with DvG… we had fun fighting it so don’t really care.

I understand why Deso runs as they do cause they are a Tier 1 server and they need to keep the tempo up even if they meet lower tier servers

And for your information we bumped into DVG after we waypointed back from the ruins fight………. you had more than 1 guild group runnig together…even if we decided to work together with DVG why not? …..

TEQ sparring was the reason you lost hills?, i mean…… let me clarify this question.

INVI started our raid at 19:30 on sfr bl…map was all red to start you had full supplies in keeps and waypoints, 22:00 pm finish and it was green and blue. I mean i’ve been in this position loads when yourselves and vizu has dbl teamed us….it happens its the game.

You had decent numbers and guild groups to defend hills you just lacked co-ordination and tactics. I will not tell you what you did wrong as it was basic errors.

INVI + few TLA provided you with this evenings entertainment on Vizu borderlands …….led by Our Squad Commander we managed to successfully achieve good things….yes you heard …good things.

The opposition started off with around equal numbers and the fights were perfect for us to manage (both viz/sfr). We then got a little outnumbered towards the end (note sarcasm) as we were the only guild on the map from deso.

I can confirm it works 100% outside of this game . I would tell you my mouse but it seems pointless as this thread is how old. I wonder what has caused it? I have not played with any settings.

Update: Well done you reset our Garri even though we’re usually good with our scouting.

We had scouts, by the time we could WP after about 30 seconds getting the golems to land (we had to leave them at the bottom of Piken garrison watergate) the garrison had flipped. I had hoped the EB team would have gone back to desolation rather than spend a significant proportion of time on one target in EB (probably the hardest tower to take on the game) considering we had already lost hills and bay. In fairness to the EB team, they were about to go to Desolation as well, but by he time either of us could WP it had flipped. Borderhopping team managed to take all of Piken bl but we lacked a lot of numbers tonight and we heavily outnumbered by both the opponents forces. Was a difficult night, I was surprised when I saw the size of Piken and Abbadon’s zergs, could have been prime time!

I had fun commanding on EB last night, guild mate set me a challenge to take t3 veloka which had 700 supply….so i did it including OW t3 …yes it took longer than a golem rush of 15 golems no skill, great timing and luck.,….but who cares? We drained 700 supply from Veloka plus 900 from the AM keep….and OW t3 with supply.

Seriously though i get notice in ts that golems inside garri on deso, no idea of numbers, no idea of timer on wp…and you expect me to drop everything in EB??? thats not scouting…thats suddenly realising we are getting rushed…….

Who was commanding on deso that evening, which guild were assigned deso???? its not just me and you who are responsible for deso’s performance. How many commanders are in ts channels right now ( go check) bet 3 atleast per channel are all together instead of tagging up on a map that has no commander? question them.

2 nights ago i took everything back on deso bl after the previous failed commander logged off. I managed to seige up everything, take everything back……get scouts in towers and paid them. I paid for upgrades and between the hours i commanded i spent over 6g in seige and upgrades. After my beautiful scouts finally had to leave due to fatigue i then spent the rest of the evening being 1 of 2 guys scouting the whole of deso , refreshing all the seige…etc etc while deso border yumpers golem rushed everything….mayeb you should appreciate the real commanders of deso before spouting nonsense on forums.

I do not rub it in peoples faces my opinion on pvding at night ……you wish to play like that go ahead. But to question the fact i decided for once evening to actually fight real players and take a very hard objective under fire ….is erm strange.

I’ve spent about 6 hours yday during the day in wvw (different BGs) and Bamja was the only one who actually did something SMART… the rest of you “commanders” out there really need to start using your brain…
Big shoutout to the ______ (fill in the blank any way you wish) who managed to lose to a smaller blob because “what is tactics – why AOE a small entrance when we can move 50 feet back to open ground and let them pwn us”…

Also, to all commanders, for the love of god, stop stacking for no apperent reason. There is a time and place for this, and standing in the middle of a tower AFTER you took down the gate and there are xy number of ACs hitting you, IS NOT SMART!.

Ok, I might have been a bit too harsh… it’s not like we have no good commanders… Candy, All shall perish, Serial Clicker, Ru-bi-o(OOOOO) …they are all very good commanders…but some, well, some just need to give up the position or something…take back the 100g, cuz you’re just not meant to lead. Guys, belive me, you can more than simply arrowcarting, you have organized guilds like EoW – learn from them. It’s boring when you have bunch of commanders – 1 died and 5 another ressing him and they dunno what to do.
Deso, nice first meeting, but we should have more openfield. Pikens have less defense at towers than you on borders. Let’s rock.

It’s quite good what we achieve with our numbers …… just a shame Anet have deployed a strange leaderboard/ranking/points system that enables us to be matchkittened.

The backtracing system is utter bs. Why do we need to play 2x the amount of wvw to get our reward chest back? Why can’t you just dump them in our mails per character based on the number of ranks we gained? Now all the work we did before this update was totally for nothing, cause it will ask us to gain more ranks, and the higher your rank goes, the more WXP you need to level up… This is a lazy trick of Anet to keep people playing WvW.

You do know that the wxp you need to rank up flattens out at 5k right? It never increases and starts at that rate at about 20, so what’s the issue?

Indeed…just get or your lvl 80 alt’s to rank 20…then go back to playing your main……that’s what i propose to do anyway.

Apologises for my commanding today (8am till 15:30pm reign today on EB).

We started with 1 red camp…and ended with all our natural towers / keep tier3 shizzle …klovan/WC and SM. Biggest highlights were flipping the Elona controlled Tier 3 Stone Mist…….and last but not least…spawn camping viz in order for Elona to cap viz keep. :-)……i’m sure you could of donw it without us…but nonetheless was trying to help you guys. Lets just say it was a leaving present.

Good luck Elona for next week when you have to fight both French servers……you know they will team up on you..regardles of what they say here……….right ;-)

ANET owes me x4 golem blueprints, x6 treb bp’s, 13 AC bp’s and some cata too.

It seems to occur randomly , place them down start to build then they disappear however supplies are gone as well so it’s a major game breaker.

I’m not sure if your aware but whenever I’m commanding I ignore sfr, I will stand infront of your Zerg and wave then kill the viz that are attacking you… Either by flanking them or sandwiching them.

I don’t wanna kill sfr….. But if seems you don’t wish to work together…… Every time I try to get viz off you so you can attack SM you dont do anything other than take umber and push for our towers.

If any sfr commanders wish to form an alliance feel free to pm me :-)

We just don’t have the quality of commander or players we used to, nevermind numbers. I agree we as a server need to rebuild…..but we need to either drop tiers who h will take forever or get free transfers to our server….. However this will not gather many numbers or organised guds due to the fear or the Viz force and the skill lag.

We have skill lag and queues at 11am on weekends……It sometimes makes me consider going back to NA tier 2. (TC)

After being infracted on many occasions i have stayed away from the forums….until now.

I wanted to voice my opinions on the current state of the game in wvw. Not because i think people need to hear it, as im sure you are all in agreement….but because ANET needs to take notice that people are leaving/left Guild Wars 2.

This means less profits to them in terms of gem purchases (loss of repeat business)

I understand how it is not possible to trial these changes prior to release and the only way is to put them out for us to give feedback on and see how it changes the meta.

I do not agree with people when they say ANET are not listening….. Far from it.

Ok so here goes MR & MRS DEVON, these points are free of charge …..and you can use them the sooner the better to fix certain aspects kn game.

1. free transfers to any EU server. – reason being – VIZ (I know you would lose slot of money and this will never be the case….but I’ve transferred so many times I have no money…. I spend 10 gold a day commanding I’m a poor man)

2. Fix D/D ele – nerf was too much they all just run away now. It may be that I’ve only come across a few since the patch….please tell me if I’m wrong.

3. Confusion Nerf – again too much ….. Raise dmg again slightly

4. Arrow Carts – I have warmed to them I just think they should do less dmg to other siege….. Player dmg is fine by me.

5. Refreshing seige every 30 mins – NO NO NO impossible unless you have the numbers and people willing to stay in towers etc …. And the rewards for doing this then has to be funded by who? Oh yes me again.

6. contested swords after 30 secs from initial attack———-hmmm well same as above fine if you have scouts, but if they golem rush you with no scout in… Bye bye

7. mug trait nerf on thieves – the 4 sec reveal was fine…..this nerf is not great for when I solo roam however I’ll just start to roam with 4 other thieves … So not a major one.

8. gliko system – broken, deso has been trying to go down the past 4 weeks…… we are ahead of sfr……and Elona wont come up anytime soon…..so i guess noone wants to fight the 24/7 viz blob. Reminds me of the time i was on Crystal Dessert and Fort Aspenwood and Dragonbrand became super servers.

9. skill lag…dont make me build a full signet warrior :-)

Do to many of the points above alot of guilds have left the server…..players have left the game and one of the biggest if not the biggest guilds in the EU have been split up. (IRON – Triangle). I agree you will lose numbers if you continue to not please the masses …. Kinda obvious, prob best to announce that when patches are released they are still in beta stage and are up for discussion and alteration.

I was sad to see so many of our server’s guilds leave, however i understand why they choose to go down this path. Playing the game more hours than you work is hard going, draining and expensive. Commanders burning themselves out as noone wants to tag up so it seems.

I have transferred too many times already because of similar reasons and i assumed this game was free to play…….how is this? when i feel to play the sort of game I want, i need to transfer every 3 months in order to find a game that is fun, balanced and no skill lag.

To all the guilds that have left DESO, no hard feelings. Please PM me and let me know how you are getting on guys GH , GOD, VOTF, IRON, BULL, FG……real shame some quality guilds and players have left such a promising server.

Anyway it’s been emotional – if you see me in wvw – im the commander with x2 corrupted axes/corrupted hammer ….refreshing seige 24/7 that will never get used between the hours of 10pm-6am because the 60 viz outside wont let us in the front door. I would of had a scout in each of our t3 towers/keeps etc however that would mean my roaming zerg will consist of myself…and my thoughts. Luckily though i can check the map and find white swords on areas that was attacked more than 30s ago…..thank god viz dont golem rush unmanned towers…oh wait they do.

p.s thankyou to the viz commander who agreed on an open field fight in eb today was fun…up until the point of people building seige and fighting in the dredge cave…..hardly open field ;-)

Well it was fun while it lasted, I had maybe 8 of us with golems and an Omega. We took our natural tower, sfr’s natural tower , bay & hills.

Shame we couldn’t take your garrison, was very close and new you were golem rushing our tower and I made a call to keep going.

Good job to the viz warriors for banner rezzing The Lord so many times ….. We were so close.

And for once we didn’t get blobbed, nice work.
