Before I was getting a constant and smooth 60fps, now, after this latest patch, my fps is hovering around the 7 – 8 mark. Yes, that’s 7 – 8! This makes the game completely unplayable. Even knocking all the settings down to minimum has no effect.

Game is currently broken.

…and I’m logged in.

Getting error 42 here too, but Error 42:6:3:2060. It was fine an hour or so back, I go for tea and now I can’t log-in.

My thoughts exactly. My preferred choice of weapons is a Bow and Sword/Torch and having this ridiculous bug where we get locked into place, unable to move around the target, is really beginning to ruin the game for me.

So come on ANet, either let us know that this is intentional or get it it fixed.

I can confirm that this problem is back again.

Having the exact same problem here too. I’ve just started a Human Thief and as soon as I enter these caverns my FPS drops from it’s usual 40-50 down to single digits. Then if I walk out again it goes back to normal. Strange thing is, I’ve played through this area before without a single problem. So it must’ve been something in the last patch that caused this.

If you type /ip in game you can see which IP your connected to. For me (on a European world) this was 206.127.159.196, which traced back to Texas.

I’m getting the same thing. In-game, on the EU Desolation server, the /ip command gives me the address 206.127.146.51 which also traces back to Austin, Texas. Now I’m in England and bought the EU version of the game.

When the UI is set to small, the text in the TRading Post is completely messed up. In fact, it’s nigh on unreadable. Here’s a shot of what it looks like.
