i cant believe it is that difficult to come up with new wvw maps, they came out with lost shore and who really goes there minus gold farmers. i mean…come on. WvW IS this game. if the Devs want to keep this game around and sell thier gems, i would think they would want to hear from us. Maps isnt the only issue in WvW.
We[ppl reading and posting on forums] obviously still like and enjoy this game, only trying to help create a convo that the devs can pull from to hopefully help keep GW2 a viable option for ppl’s gaming time.

PS i really do like my idea of 3 new borderlands according to ranking/color.

Forgive me for not seeing this thread prior to starting my own earlier today. Besides the typical culling issues, here are my thoughts:
Do you think the Asian servers have had enough time to choose thier homeland? ~Hence, start charging ppl for transfers; adding some further stablity to our server ranks.
Do you think we might be able to have different borderland maps based on our ranking/color?
~I love the original borderland map, however the tactics on them…are getting kinda old. only some many things work really well, AND once that is figured out…well, i hope you get my drift. This would allow Anet to release 3 more WvWvW maps. GREAT idea, eh?!? I mean dnt you have some bright eyed and bushy tailed interns sitting around looking to make thier mark on your design team…take off the REINS!!!plz
What happened to OUR chance to get fractal gear w/o actually having to step into another dungeon???

How about this. If you want to duel, meet up in the centuar’s area in the Northeast of the Green Borderland. You can have a little dueling powwow around the campfire.

Yeah, I just got to this thread. I was thinking 3 NEW maps. One for each color/rank’s borderland. Keep EB, bec the fighting there is pretty unique and still really fun most every night. But I personally am kinda feeling bummed about borderland tactics atm. And, what a horrible thought…underwater WvWvW match…ugh.

Really wonderfully productive reply. Thank you for your support. Honestly, with the holiday season just passing… I would think you would have a handle on what was hot in the gift market. I can only speak for myself but alexandani bracelets worked really well for the woman in my life this year. Maybe that will help.

I do think these are some SMALL yet effective changes that would srsly increase our joy in GW2. So ppl PLEASE reply, plz let’s try to keep this a positive and productive conversation on how anet “might” want to make WvWvW just a little better for us all.

Hahahahaha. What a great thread. TBH stacking enemies is a wonderful thing. Once your team figures it out, it is a fun filled bag fest!!! It doesnt work. 2 out of 10 times maybe once you attck it properly. I do admit the first time we saw it, it was a head scratcher. After a guild meeting and some alliance discussions, we figured it out through our glorious knowledge of the game and stepped it on it everytime after. THIS is one of the things I completely enjoy about GW2. WvW forces you to work with your team on tactical objectives…funfunfunfunfun! GL all.

PS portal bombs work, but honestly condibombs and losta confusion and knockdowns with some solid range AoE breaks it up fast.

I have been using “Auramancer” as a regular spec in WvWvW since before I even knew it had a name. I roll D/D, D/F, and sometimes even S/D, S/F. When rolling frontline with a bunch a hammer guards….it is so nice. Really the only effective defense is triple our numbers or a well placed flanking portal. Great spec for large grps, but sometimes I forget to re-trait when “small ops’g” and have found it works great then also. Definately most effective with D/D but in a GRANDLY large grp of zerg on zerg, i find S/D works best with some auras[not an optimal number like D/D] but u get some nice Area Effects with S. Truly the best team spec for ele that I have found in my experience. GL

What a blast reset was this week. Our AoI alliance had some serious fun in EB last night. Whatever happened with JQ over the past 2 weeks has been a wonderful addition to this match up. All I can say is this game hasn’t lost any luster for me, for everytime I think to myself, “/self~maybe I should just go make a monk and join that old parade” I encounter a night like last and say “/self~ F that!!! THIS IS EPIC!!!!”
