Unlike alot of the people who play WvW I do not enjoy being on the winning server, I play WvW to kill people that is all. I don’t care about objectives or score as long as there is people to kill I am happy.
Good for you! Wish more magu are like you! Then maybe maguu can be pushed out some more.

Kohler is skippable in all paths, even without troll. There is a stairs on the left side of the room that will allow you to bypass center platform. Or you can just walk up the middle stairs, on the edge.
Commander as it is now is messed up. For 100 gold you get a little emblem that for some reason makes it look like you can lead. Most commanders I have met know less about WvW than I do (then again I am in a low pop server).
In theory some one could get the title with out ever doing any WvW before that.
Yes, but we all know that. If we put commander issue aside, we still have organization issue and there needs to be an improvement. Either way, I think having open roster screen should help, as a first step.
I thought of this same thing the other day myself. The only issue I see is that the enemy could send 1 commander to the opposing teams server and track everything.
Could relay how many people were on each map, how much supplies/upgrades each map has and also where to hit.
I agree it would be nice to have, but not sure that much information should be available, even to commanders.

In this case, this information could be made available only to main commander / supreme commander position.
1. Why should you have the option force me to be in a party? If I wanted to be in a party, I would have joined one. I don’t personally feel the need for one most of the time.

1. Why? Also, I said “perhaps”. Main point is there is a need to see clearly how many people are in the map and at what state. Maybe party is not needed to have good organization. But I don’t understand why not.

Realistically speaking, did you honestly have everybody in the map in your server in voice comm already? If not, then it is only a wishful thinking?
Perhaps, additional capability of the supreme commander:
- Able to force group people who are not in party.No. Way.
I wish they’d get rid of the Commander tag. You should be following people because they’ve proven themselves to be a good leader, not because they had 100 gold.
I am not discussing how the commander tag is achieved. That could be entirely different discussion.
Questions:
1. Why would you not want to be in party ?
2. If there is no commander tag, what do you propose for better organization as alternative?
Commanding is about leading the front . People always follow that little commanding option. Commanders a lot of the times don’t have time to look at the maps and make a fast judgment decision because he is occupied attacking and defending. Personally, I would love to see a [Tactician] where the commanders could see some commands from them.
Is that how it is in real life war? That’s why I propose having a supreme commander option. Well, this could be actually any other position, for example: “Tactician”, “Advisor”, etc.
In a war, you have generals who lead the front line in the battlefield but you always have someone behind, commandeering/ overlooking the whole field, i.e. macro managing, instead of micro.
I think organization in WvWvW can be improved further, from current system. I know squad system exists but for some reason, it’s rarely used.
In any war / battle, knowing what resource (human and supplies) that you have is most important. I think there should be an easier way for a commander to find out, even without having everybody in a squad. Secondly, a commander needs to be able to check quickly how many parties there are in the map and how many are without parties.
Here are my suggestions for system change :
1. have a roster system, similar to guild screen when you type “G”.
- Whoever in the map will show on that screen
- It should also show # of supplies they have (and perhaps total supplies available on players on top of the screen).
- It should also indicate clearly who is not in party.
2. Have different tags if multiple commanders are in the map.
- Perhaps with number or other means to differentiate clearly.
- this will make it easier to coordinate and for players to follow.
3. Have “Supreme Commander” or “Commander in Chief” option
- In every war, there should be only 1 “Supreme Commander”. It only makes sense.
- This position is voted by available commanders online in the map, similar to kick system in grouping / party.
- If there is only 1 commander, he/she will be automatically the Supreme Commander
- The Supreme Commander can transfer this position to another commander.
- When he/she logs off, he/she loses the supreme commander position.
By having a supreme commander option, it will be clear to players on the map who they should listen to on team chat, etc. This will avoid confusion in case multiple commanders are present in the map.
Perhaps, additional capability of the supreme commander:
- Able to force group people who are not in party.
Further optional change suggestion:
- If players are in the map only for jumping puzzle, they can have option to change their tag that will show differently on roster screen.
- This will allow commanders to understand clearly their “true” number in the map.
- And perhaps supreme commander is also able to assign this tag if he finds any players afk or not actively participating in the battle without the tag.
