So maybe it’s a bit early for this as you can only use 1 race and one outfit, but whatever. You can still take screenshots of your revs in epic positions, right? Let’s show em off!

I just cleared the first zone as elementalist, level 17 now, and I gotta say, I’m a bit disappointed. I play d/d, and they have like nothing over warriors.

Warriors do higher damage, are much tankier, pretty sure they have more cc, heard their better for pvp, spvp and wvw.

Honestly, all I’m asking is, is there a point to play elementalist nowadays? If all they offer is support, I should have just picked guardian or something.

I personally play the dreaded D/D celestial ele in PvP ^ ^
so yes I think I can say they don’t completely suck. I can typically hold a point against 2 for a fair amount of time, and can hold against one player almost indefinitely. For PvE, Eles can stack might like crazy. Don’t tell me that isn’t useful in dungeons for the almighty stack.

Tl;DR yes eles are usefull, just only at one thing at a time.

So, I’m sure we all know you can pop walk mid air, and triggering the teleport resets distance fallen as far as the game is concerned. Thus, necros with sufficient skill (and really, it doesn’t take that much) can survive a fall of any length.

I have used this a couple of times as an experiment. It is quite funny (in an evil sort of way) to jump off a cliff tagged up and be the sole survivor of the fall. But is using this method against the ToS?

I would assume not as this use has been around a very long time. However, I don’t want to get banned -_-

Please let me know what ANET’s stance is on this.

A group of players has created a wiki to share tabs. This is by no means the only nor the first collection, but by separating it from the forums (where it can be archived or buried, like the previous “collection” threads), we hope to make it more easily accessible, searchable, and generally more convenient.

Notes inside squiggly brackets, “{ }”, are meant to be played as a chord (at the same time). Note that this is not possible on most instruments.
Hyphens, “-“, and spaces, ” “, indicate short breaks in between notes.
A series of three periods, “…”, indicates the ending of a line, or a long pause. (This is most important!)
Notes with a star, “*”, are meant to be played very quickly.

So here’s the back story:
I recently got a in-game instrument.
I’m not a fan of macros.
I can’t find tabs.
Gw2mb "exports" tabs, but gives you no idea of tempo.

So the question is, if i started to give gw2mb tabs tempo and combine them with other good tabs (looking at yours, MidnightX) into one thread, would you use it? I have seen other threads like this but they either
A. Got buried under mounds of other threads,
B. Didn’t clarify what instrument the tabs were for,
C. Were full of broken links, or
D. All of the above.

Tl;dr - would you use an indexed, well made list of tabs?

Ok, first of all, as long as your mobo is half decent, it will do fine. However, new CPU means new mobo as well so consider that. Secondly, the gt240 is going to be as limiting as heck. At least the CPU you currently have is an i7, even if it is old. It will ofc limit the GPU, no question about that, but I am running gw2 at 2160×1440 maxed on a gtx770 + AMD fx-8350 (yeah, I know. Crummy CPU.). My point being, gw2 is not too heavy on the CPU I use only a very minor OC on the CPU (<10%) and as I said it runs smoothly at max @ 1440p.

As regarding the PSU, I think you will be fine. Intel gets more efficient each generation. Check your wattage just in case.

Tl;Dr: Go with the GPU.
