I also got DCed after about 2:30 hours into the event, halfway through the part where you need to make those nests explode. Now I would understand if Anet wouldn’t be able to give us a “new” chest, but I’d be more than happy with a 20 slot bag and/or that triforge pendant which seemed to be a standard loot from reading some comments in the loot thread (unsure wether or not they are standard). I don’t even know if it’s possible to see who disconnected when, or if those people actually did get involved in the event, so yeah. Fingers crossed.

After seeing the PC Gamer – Tour of The Lost Shores video I’m more exicted than ever. I hate how all the focus is going to the gear (although yes, it’s somewhat a big issue). But this event looks like it’s going to a blast. Can’t wait.

Steadily getting 100% world completion, I’ve been playing WvW most of the time after reaching lvl 80 alongside doing jumping puzzles and dungeons with friends, one of them even enjoys just running around the lower populated areas just to explore as much as I do. I also try playing the TP a little, see what makes profit and earn me some of that extra gold. And ofcourse sPvP from time to time.

I suppose we’ll find out how it goes on the release of the update, but a I kind of feel discouraged to get iG as anything I do as a lvl 80 right now seems like a waste of time instead of just waiting for the weekend and grinding the dungeon for the gear.

“This is just the beginning.” This is the quote from the blog that worries me the most. Yes, the difference between the stats doesn’t seem that high, but this is the first gear with stat changes they put in after launch. I don’t know, but that one sentence makes it feel like they will be adding newer gear with even higher stats lateron in expansions and maybe even other updates.

I think it are creatures that got pushed further into tyria by bubbles’ minions. (Although I think I read they are in the Lost Shores for some time now)

I agree, imo the clock tower isn’t even that hard. Okay, it took me like 45 minutes to make it the first time, but now I can finish it several times in a row for those extra baggies. I absolutely love it.
It’s very much like The Impossible Game, you get to a certain point, die, remember how you got to that point and do it again, go futher, die again, etc etc.
