The Asura have pretty trinkets, but they cannot stand against the might of the Charr Legions, the humans tried for a while, and they were only saved by the awakening of the dragons
well then the charr just win more
Give the Searing Cauldron to the Flame Legion. Bam.
well the question is, do they know how to use it without the help of the Titans
kill minotaurs in the level ranges of 66-72, they drop it, or check the wiki for the drops, you may need to go deeper into what creatures drop it, as some only drop them at certain level ranges
or maybe its for the one of the new legendaries, 20 Mini Queen Jennahs to make the Gift of Royalty
because its about as useless as the rest of the Birthday items.
The thing is that the personal story is also tied to race, as well as skills and armor. But tbh there isnt much in game that is character bound and worth much. Only thing that would suck is losing crafting levels, but you should have thought of that before investing the time and money into a race you dont like
“Who else but Logan!?
It’s Logan Thackray, Thackray,
Logan Thaaackray,
running every single time~~~~”
-latest jingle of the Black Lion Music Industry, called “the running man” attempts to copy parts of the song or play it in your own Youtubevideos might end with Evon Gnashblade coming to your house and sewing you… with a knife.
Insert Brave Sir Robin song from the Holy Grail
In fact, if you ask the imperitor he already said that same thing during the storyline… o.O
Oh really I guess i missed that, could you link me to where/when he states that?
Jormag was further North and West from there, not much ice in the Homelands, and the Gold Legion are probably about as much a problem for the Charr as the other rogue factions are to the other races, plus we have also yet to see the Ash legion homelands as well so who knows how large they are. On top of all that Ascalon is the Iron Legion Homeland we only see other legion’s warbands there as they have sent detachments to help out Smoldur, and not the bulk of their forces.
I have some doubts that the humans still have much of an army left, as it seems they cant even hold their own against the centaurs and bandits
Charr would win easily, as they still have most of their forces in the Charr Homelands north of Ascalon that they can bring to bear
emm, as far as i know; Jormag proves that wrong? o.O
I think he is more on the Norn area. Kralkatorik might have damaged them a bit when he flew to the crystal desert (though there is no purple in the Blood Legion Homelands, so maybe not), but if we are going with the scenario that this is happening after the dragons have been defeated then Charr own about a third of the current map.
I’d like to hear the return of the GW1 themes!
I have the entire GW1 soundtrack, and it’s just so memorable
-Chris
Doubt that will ever happen. Surely the agreement that ANet had with the original composers over the GW1 music does not include using it in GW2, and securing such an arrangement would entail quite a bit of legal work, I would imagine.
Thats only how it works if they licences the music, if they paid the composers to make the soundtrack for them they own the music rights and can do with them how ever they please. (depending of course how their contracts work)
Factions is probably my favorite of any of the GW soundtracks, and I really hope it makes a return of some sort
Charr would win easily, as they still have most of their forces in the Charr Homelands north of Ascalon that they can bring to bear
Maybe Anet was just going off historical weapon use. If you were in any of the ancient or medieval armies you wielded your shield in your left hand and your weapon in your right hand. If you were a samurai you wielded your katana in your right hand. Now there were historical accounts of warriors using weapons in there left hand, but this was very, very rare.
lol that would then be the only thing they took from historic accounts (besides the actual weapon categories)
hmm ok, ill be sure to stand in front of Logan when I am toss them all away. Pity though I had hoped they had some sort of use.
What do you do with your excess Queen Jennahs? Toss ’em? or is there some sort of vendor they can be sold/traded to?
I certainly hope not, otherwise I have been paying the Krait for nothing
Feeding keeps the entertainment going. It only ends when you call them out… party poopers
This thread escalated quickly. Good read for a slow afternoon at work..
Yup very entertaining see ppl feed the trolls
I hope each and every one of you have to one day live while crippled … this is unacceptable.
There it is folks! The mask slips!
Unless both of them are trolls working together. In which case, bravo!
That has to be the case, no one can seriously be this hyper-sensitive
I would love to see a Margonite Mask with the glowing purple eyes as an item
I’m appalled at how insensitive you people are. OP said they had a minor panic attack over this, and you’re all brushing it off like it’s nothing. Shame on all of you! This is not how you talk to people with disabilities! I hope each and every one of you have to one day live while crippled by something outside of your control. Maybe then you’ll understand why this is unacceptable.
People are just blown away someone had a panic attack over something so incomprehensibly insignificant. Not to mention misguided, as the qoute in particular doesn’t even refer to disabled people. You say the problem is people being insensitive, I say the problem is people being hypersensitive.
I’m pretty sure Andred was being sarcastic
probably something they will add onto the gem store
this….this probably on of the stupidest posts i’ve read on this forum, hard not to believe that this isnt a troll post
Alright here’s a solution to the two handed axe problem. Make it a skin that goes over the hammers. As it stands the hammers in the game are held like one would hold a battle axe. A two handed sword with an axe skin might work but doesn’t feel the same. It’s the only way we’re going to get two handed axes in the game. It might seem funny at first hammering down a foe with an axe but who’s going to complain? They will be dead and squishy.
^
This
2-handed axes would be too close to hammers anyways, just make them the same weapon.
We need polearms more than we need axes
having the twilight effect as armor would be pretty cool, as long as the armor is modeled well as well, and not like on the swords where is just a straight sword with a pretty texture on it
just buy the mats then, its only ~100g per piece, sure it will take a bit to farm, but its not like having ‘only’ exotic gear really matters stats wise
For those of us who remember Spamadan and the sea of chaos gloves I would rather not have the Legendary armor be glowing or particle effect heavy. Maybe something more like the shiro’ken have with the floating blades, or Margonite skin where the textures are always in motion with swirling patterns in it
So another one of my toons recently turned 2, and I noticed how little i care about the received gift, just another thing to throw in the bank an forget about. For which I am sad about as I love the GW1 versions of it, every time a new mini from a different set, was something I always looked forward to, even now I log on there every once in a while to see if another toon has ticked over. It would be nice to receive something worth collecting, maybe some more minis like first year with queen Jennah, or tonics, that are also from a random pool so that its not every character getting the same thing over again
