Couldn’t agree more.
It’s not appealing to me the fact that WvW is expensive. You expend a lot more money than you earn from it.
By using karma (which you get from the WvW events) things would get better.

Ascended gear is a new tier of gear that is more powerful than Legendary gear is at this moment.

Because of that, they will buff the Legendary gear to be on par with Ascended gear.

Me and my guildies are looking for a new server to move to.
We’re looking for that server that makes it easier to find parties to do stuff like FotM, dungeons, WvW, maybe even PvP.

Would you guys please give me suggestions?

Ascended gear is a new tier of gear to the full extent of the word’s meaning:
They are more powerful in the same way that exotics are more powerful than rares.

I vote for the possibility of changing the names of our characters.

Please, do not add mounts.

And if they do end up added for some reason, let them be purely cosmetic and with no speed bonuses (and no flying, please).

That would be a nice thing. However, I haven’t noticed anybody using cheats yet.

I come from another mainstream MMO and I liked it. However, I’m loving GW2, even much more than I expected and in such a way that sometimes I stop and ponder: Dude, these guys are geniuses…

Every single aspect about the game seems to have been carefully thought out and done. I haven’t played GW1, but GW2 is a masterpiece. Please do not screw it up by changing its spirit.

I could go on for hours listing every detail about the game and how that was so well thought out and why it is so good to have it the way it is in the game, but I guess that is not the reason for this reply.

I’ll refrain from extending the post further and limit myself to saying that NOT having an end game gear progression is one of the key decisions that contribute to GW2’s masterpieceship.

Please DO NOT bring end game gear progression to the game!

Does the word “probably” mean that they haven’t explicitly said anything on the matter yet?

Has ArenaNet said anything about this yet?

I’ve tried to look that information up through Google and the forum’s search engine but couldn’t find an answer to that question.

Will we have the option to change the name and/or the appearance of our characters after creation?
