Try being a WoW player. 8 months without new content, and 8 more until their next expansion!
Not the best example. I came back to GW2 after a couple years and nothing has really changed. A new WvW map where each team just zergs and tries to avoid the other teams, 1 new gear type and a single new high end dungeon.
Meanwhile looking back at re-installing WoW after two years I have 2 entire expansions worth of content and everyone talking about the next expansion’s content. Not to mention patch 6.0 which will completely change the game’s mechanics in a lot of ways. Actually it was talk about that patch that got me interested in that game again.
It was the April 15th patch that brought me back to GW2, but the game is exactly the same as I left it. It’s still zerg/stack/zerker with the same old class problems with the same areas of the game to play in.
Be carefull… you are talking about real things in a forum populated by real fanboys believing in magics.
Not everyone will understand your post. the most will just read the first sentence to tell you “go back to wow and shout up”.

You know, since 90% of players were playing this “beta” waiting for a real game… i wonder what will you tell them now to keep them involved?
Whine, whine, whine, that’s all you Rangers do. Next thing you know you’ll be asking for a working class mechanic, or viable AoE, or decent active condition removal, or non crappy ranged options, or valuable group support abilities.
I am curious, how are the ranger AoEs not “viable”???
Why is healing spring not a active condition removal???
What about the ranged attacks makes them crappy???
It’s true, Healing Sprind does remove condition..
AoE does exist..
But.. compared to other classes, ranger are like… a kittened 5yo child holding a rubber knife!
the only viable build they have is Regeneration Build for pvp and Berserker for pve
and in both case, you have to play pretty good and know all the class mechanics to be competitive, or you will die 9/10
Any other class can makes what rangers does but Better and more frequently! and they don’t need a build just to use an utility!
Com’on, if you are a very patient person, you could use ranger. but any other class with less than an half of your effort can kill you in 0.2
ArenaNet … no offense but please don’t smoke too much pot at work because this is unbelievably … well … man this is not enough. It won’t change anything. Your PvP balancing team should actually start playing some PvP.
they do pvp…but only with warriors.
anyway,nerf smoke pot and buff ele.
They don’t actually play the game competitively. they just log in to take some videos and create the upcoming patch preview.
They fear real fixes… or real work… can’t decide.. or maybe both

I can see you fixed a little the longbow… very useful in pvp, everyday i play with a longbow.. it’s the best agains thief and warrior! (lol)

you said it took hours to read this 10 pages. then did you notices there’s only answer about Warrior, Elementalist and Necro?!
1 people per server play Ranger seriously and it’s not even that good! You can count Engineer players on your fingers.
SO, CAN YOU TELL US IF YOU THINK THAT RANGER IS “OK” THE WAY IT IS NOW, OR WE COULD EXPECT SOMETHING NEW?

Seems like someone forgot about Rangers in gw2… but it’s easy to forget since nowadays we can’t see a lot of rangers around.
And tell me, how could you think to promote other build than berserker when:
A) condition is barelly useless since you can’t place yours if there’re already someonelse using it..
B) Every single dungeon is made of “Full Zerk (no noob) or Kick”
C) Healing – boon duration build is a Joke for every class…
Seems like you tried to destroy the trinity, but by doing that you created a new super role.. The Supreme DPS.
Anet, is that really better than trinity? At least before we had some kind of diversity …
Do you really think that 10% less damage will make someone use other builds?
Sincerely Anet, You had soooo many times to work on this balance fix and that’s all?
It’s faster to wait for an other game than for your balance/new content
Just to give you an hint … try to check the apposite forum section you created .. there’s one for each profession… if you really “love” to hear our feedback why didn’t you read that section? i’m pretty sure that if you did that, this list of balance fix would bee way longer

hi guys, since i need the whole orrian set, i’d like to find a guild farming it, to have a group and to give Reputation to them..
i mean.. usually nobody run arah and if you try to ask in /map nobody answer.

yeah and even if you wanted to paint it as your body you could pick a similar color and use it!
Hello guys, i’d just like to paint my twilight arbor set as i want without constriction related to my character’s skin color, the problem is only with the Sylvari race!
Since other race can do it…i can’t understand why sylvari can’tdo it! if you want to have similar set with constriction then create a new cultural armor …
Or just give the chance to change the skin color of our character

Same problem here, just contacted the Fastweb call-center and they says i’ts all ok.
I tried to tell them that we had this kind of problems and they says
“it’s 100% a game server problems – Fastweb services works fine – we really have no problems and neither your line”
I hate to write 5 posts about the same problems but i just heard other players complaining about the same problems:
When they have 2 or more char in the same account one of those doesn’t work properly and many friend of mine can’t even log-in with those character
Half or my guild is still desert (offline) because they can’t enter the game and the few one in are playing with an incredible lag from 24h, as you can notice in many forums lots of players are complaining about the same problems ..
Other Problems, NOW when i try to log in with him, the games loses the connection with the server and the client crashes with no reason.
the other character works perfectly…
Do you know what’s happening? may i call an exorcist?
My character is now dead on the ground and i can’t even teleport, i can just watch npc walking on my corpse…
me too and all my guild mate can’t play because of lag since yesterday! connection is fine, some of my friend also contacted the internet support (cal-center) and they says it’s fine.
Lag= ping not fps, we don’t need a better graphics card. @shadaka.1978
Hello, i have a weird problem on my account, well, i have 4 character on it and it work perfectly with 3 of them but when i try to log in with the warrior it keeps hour to enter the world and than it seems to have 356k ping.. he can’t do anything but casting skills for hour and waiting to be disconnected.
I tried a lot to change character and see if the situation would change with it and it changed! the other 3 characters can skill safely and walk around, even teleport map by map without problems…
So, i tried to ask to an internet operator and they says my internet is OK.

-The character is still in Kessex hills and i can’t teleport away!
-I’ve found this problem yesterday night, i’m waiting from something like a day but nothign changed…
Is it possible to have a char reset? to spown him in town or check for problems?
