Please for the love of everything that is dear to you fix the kitten lf(bug)g. Seriously…
I’m doing T4 fractals everyday + the small 2 dailys. Each time I’m done with small ones I open LFG and write in “T4 daily” and it ends up displaying “4, 11 daily”. And when T4 party breaks, and I’m only missing 80, I open LFG and again it says “T4 daily” or anything from before. It’s annoying and it gets wrong ppl to the party and causes bad mood for everyone. FIX THAT kitten THING!

Keep basic attacking with sword, sigil of air doesn’t proc (crit chance 50%+).
It doesn’t matter what offhand I use.

My main dps comes from sword/pistol & shatter, so I have mostly equippedsword/pistol. Now for some reason now when both weapons run
air sigils it procs.

I pvp on power revenant aswell and such “bug” does not affect him. Please
fix that, because it’s annoying to constantly think how I’ll place sigils &
weapons on me.

With some luck it is possible to get 3-5 winning streak, it happens from time to time :P

I will tell you how it is for me on daily basis. I do 2 daily fractals + 3 T4 daily fractals. After I’m done I have already gotten some keys but I always buy them the same amount as I have the Inscriptions – I buy the deeply discounted ones for 20s. Every day when I sell everything as a junk to NPC I get at least good 10g.

My personal fractal lvl is 90+ if that has anything to do with it, but honestly doing daily fractals is currently the least time consuming and rewarding – beside normal daily for 2g. WTF are dungeons heh?

And to reply to where this thread is going. Despite everything that you guys are arguing about, the one that started the party should be party leader and thus only one who can start the kick vote or at least members should not be allowed to vote kick on him. Face it, if something is wrong with leader which usually is not, players just form a new party, but looking from another perspective, it is very low of players to steal the party from the one that spend his time gathering members.

I don’t like guilds, and they don’t like me. I play like a super neckbeard hardcore nerd, but I have the mindset of a casual — in other words, I play a lot and I play well, but I don’t treat the game like a job, and just have fun with it. So, I have to either go with a hardcore guild that can keep up with me but sucks all the fun out of the game, or join a casual guild that drives me crazy with their incompetence. Both of those just wouldn’t work for me.

Have you actually even tried a GW2 raiding guild? My current (and the previous one too, actually) raiding guild is pretty relaxed, there isn’t even any set schedule for raiding, just people simply asking in guild chat “anyone want to do first wing?”. And they usually got answer quick if it’s monday or tuesday. Hell, some group in the guild don’t even mind taking people with no kill experience.

In my >10 years of playing WoW, I never had a guild, but I did all the raid content when it was new and fresh. I even pugged heroic stuff and did fine, not just LFR. When people can function in a raid, and know what to do (or are capable of learning), you clear things without a guild. To act like a guild is a requirement for raiding is just silly.

If they’re so afraid of people getting loot, just make all ascended drops in the raid soulbound, and magnetite shards per character. Boom. Now you have a reason to constantly run with all your characters.

Uhh, I don’t understand it. If that’s the case, people will simply just run the raid multiple times with THEIR GUILD then. I mean, I will just simply raid at Monday on my Tempest, then on my DH at Tuesday, then on my Necro at Wednesday, and so on =/

Ofc you keep division from last season or drop just 1 lower, to reset completely would bring tears to many ppl :P Then again such matches happen every time ppl from high division decide to join an unranked match so..

Also Phanteon, I do find solo q fun aswell. But sometimes you can’t help but ask yourself how can you be top player 10 games in a row and still loose. And I’m not talking about plain points, I mean ppl joining ranked and do things like off camp fighting, no target marking (literaly I have to do that 99.99% matches), 2 ppl or more point capping when one kitten is being ganked on far etc.

I can Understand that teams we play against were more or less premades, but thats why the only solution we have is to split ranked in solo q and team q.

I have rarely anyone to join me on pvp (most friends pve) and I would really love to be on the premade team for once..

no need for ranked to be teams only, just make solo and team ranked, simple really..

I agree on locking classes once you load into the map. Would benefit team diversity and fairness acroos all games.

REAL SOLUTION:
They really need to split ranked games in SOLOQ and PARTYQ!!!

SOLOQ: You progress to higher tiers and get same rewards as now, as it reflects your PERSONAL PVP SKILL!

PARTYQ: Your teaam progress only in divisions and get some special rewards for reaching specific division on the end of the season as to show your TEAMS PVP SKILL!

This would bring fair matches for everyone and make pvp more enjoyable. No more partyq abuse and ppl would start playing partyq simply to become the best team, NOT TO EXPLOIT DIVISION LVL UP REWARD SYSTEM!

People are forgetting that for legendary achievement you need to play other classes, so when we get bad performing player in higher tiers its probably just a poor kitten being forced to play the class he has little knowledge of =/

Hello, I’m an old player here (since prestart). I have mostly pvp experience but I’ve played my share of pve. I’ve tried raid few times, but unfortunately I never killed it. I would like to join a group or guild that does raids

I have many classes available (only missing engi and warrior). My main is full zerk ascended chrono.

Ranged support healing transfers 10000% to Druid. Druid is a Ranger specialization and best active healer Even if you go full heal, pet still does insane amount of dmg, well the right pet does (you could also check the elementalist with Tempest elit spec using warhorn – specifically auramancer build if you group play, its not such straight forward healer, but its an interesting support. Do mind that you loose dps going full heal, while Druid does not thanks to his pet.

For pure survival/tankiness I would say a proper Guardian build (don’t pick his elit spec. Dragonhunter). Hint: old bunker guardian build

Insane amount of dmg with the right rotation would be zerk Revenant (using his Herald elite spec. Easy to stay alive when you know your skills, if team targets one player its killed in sec regardless of his build. Constant furry uptime! Use shiro+glint build

This is from my own pvp experience, but it goes pretty much the same for pve. Druid still best active healer, tank is opened for more classes (warrior, guardian, necro) and for dps even more – mesmer would lack some pve edge comparing to others, necros elit spec using great sword is a bit slow but deadly but what I would like to point out that best aoe dmg would come from Elementalist.

If you like what you see with elementalist, go for it. I admit for now this class is considered hard by me, but only because I just started playing it. If you decite to master it there is really only 1 thing to do here – learn rotations. I can’t really explain it so I’ll just paste a little guide here (I forgot where I copy that from).

Scepter/Dagger (my favourite combo atm :P ):
Dragon’s Tooth (Fire 2) → Ring of Fire (Fire 4) under your Dragon’s Tooth → Phoenix (Fire 3) → Dodge Roll and swap to Earth Attunement as you do so to perform a blast finisher in your Fire Field → Arcane Wave to perform a blast finisher in your Fire Field → Earthquake (Earth 4) to do a blast finisher in your Fire Field → Churning Earth (Earth 5) to do a blast finisher in your Fire Field.
That’s 18 stacks of Might! Combine with Fire XI (Persisting Flames) and that’s also 1 minute of Fury!

I think you see now what I mean. Sure it looks confusing, but when you learn to cycle trough skills on weapon set you wan’t to use, thats pretty much it.

I’d at least consider playing PvE till lvl 40 or 45. That way you get to know most of skills. When you feel confortable with your skill knowledge, go to PvP area and check traits and their bonuses, so you can make your unique ele

Btw, when and if you lvl up to 80, just buy exotic gear from trading post. Karma shops and dungeon shops are used for weapon and armor skins, I would not recommend buying anything else for Karma (ofcourse there are recipes for crafting, but I dont want to go in that much of details now).
Till lvl 80 I’d suggest you run full berserker gear (power/precision/ferocity), since PvE is fairy easy and berserker makes most dps – except dungeons! Story mode is easy, but paths aren’t and you should consider doing them after you hit 80 ( you would want to farm dungeons for skins). If you would see yourself die often doing paths, I’d suggest you not to using full berserker gear, since you cant use all your dps when dead tho you shouldnt have problems when you get used to your ele.

I agree with most Ghostly Demise.5786 saied. I just cant get around on thief. I think this class makes THE highest dmg in pve. Also I play mesmer and against thief in wvw i’m dead meat., ofcourse its diferent if you go with zerk groups, but I just tought you wanna know that. Map completion in WvW is imho easyest with thief and his op stealth/power build.

Oh and Michaeas Magister.1589, guardians and warriors are one of toughest enemies in PvP for me and I play mesmer since beta. That beeing saied, from my experience guardians and warriors can be godlike in PvP…especially warriors, but maybe thats just because i didnt encounter as much guardians as i did warriors.

But then again even if some classes MIGHT have some upperhand in pvp, it won’t necessary make you good. Godlike warriors and guardians I met did indeed have skills and a lot of knowledge of their class.

Novataris.6571, please consider playing the class and race you love the most, because all classes have potential to be good. Don’t look at who would win 1 on 1, because this game in not ment to be played like that. Besides if you wan’t to take your character to the top, it would suck if you decided half way that you hate your class =/

I’d suggest you sell it and grab 200 gold asap, so you unlock gold related achievement. Then blow your money any way you like it :P

When you will be 80, your exotic equipment will cost you around 40 gold if I remember correctly. You can also buy all common dyes for very low price (few bronze or silver) like I did and still keep almost everything you got from selling.

I will tell you my point of view.
Elementalist is one of best classes but at same time its most handicaped and requires time to learn, wich is worth it at the end. On other hand warrior is very good and not so hard. You saied “I’m not a flavor of the month person”. So my suggestion is go with the class/race you like the most (visually and gameplay).

Also, if you are pvp/wvw person, I recommend you start with PvE since you unlock skills/traits/equipment and other things slowly. Now with overhauled lvling system they made it even easyer for new players to learn content piece by piece.

Imho you will be max lvl (80) in 1 or 2 months, if you are not active player. I made lvl 40 elementalist in 1 week playing casual with friend).
Besides lvling in this game is very easy as it does not slow down on higher lvls.
