how could you rate it without a proper scoring system implemented. Guilds from different time zone different servers may never meet up…

hey guys, stop arguing/biting ea other…. your fight isn’t making battles fun. wvw is all about time coverage. as long as you have guilds cover all time zones, you win. that’s it. how simple is that. I am from JQ who was with a bunch of mates seeking the glory of T1, migrated from SOS after SOS’ sink, was also part of EMP for a short time (sadly i participated the meeting Noodles making his decision too, on the 2nd day EMP separated…..how disappointing night that was…. ), joined Omen afterwards who left JQ in a few of weeks too. look at JQ now, EU time zone is basically deserted comparing with our SEA/Oceanic time.

as long as any bandwagon happen to your server, your glory is soon to be fade out… it’s not all about how skillful ea individual is, not about how OP a single ultra guild is, but about the TIMEZONE COVERAGE. now my mates and I understand how it is and stop thinking migration again, it’s never ending.

be humble and respect, just enjoy the game.

BTW, we are so much enjoying fight with TC/FA not only for the score, just something fresh. Plz dont just say ‘we know we have a chance to win so we come back.’ kinda rude.

thieves call other class players L2P. Other classes call thieves Troll who has perma stealth, super mobility, burst dmg and are able to safely jump out the combat easily if they feel a bit pressure.
I play a mesmer in pvp/wvw (only PVP rank 31) . I enjoy and no big problem to duel a higher rank thief in spvp (there are winning and losing) but also get very frustrated to fight against a Troll thief.

I partied up with other pvp mates (around8 or 9, pvp rank 20-40ish including ele, necro and hammer warr) have met a couple of high pvp rank (both are with Bear finishers) thieves running in troll mode in wvw last week, and we were nailed one by one. We then invited them both of them into spvp and had good duels (winnings and losings, not only losing). Both thieves won our respects and they sincerely agreed a good skilled thief is almost un-touchable/killable if he decides to switch himself into the troll mode in wvw. they even said any one of them basically was able to slowly eat a mini zerg (15ish ppl pug) without any issue. they dont believe any other existing classes have such ability to get the same result (1v15+) with such ease at current stage. they both play and master all classes. they used to have hard time when fight against good condition mesmers but not any more.

Well, that’s the current situation.

Here is my experience, it may not be so accurate but close as it happened last week -

Last Tuesday night, I brought 253 Obsidian shards from the temple of Balthazar and was being so excited standing front of the MF. there are 5 shards more than estimated figure recommended on Wiki. I felt very confident to get my legendary sword that night… 1 clover recipe was used till finishing off 187 or 188 shards (i have got 4 or 5 shards returned via a couple tries), guess how many clovers I received…… 39! the drop rate is like 21%. man, i have got only 70 shards left, am i gonna keep trying?? what am i gonna do?? kitten the recommended 1 clover recipe. I was sweaty enough and nearly ragekittened my keyboard…. spent all my skill points (i spent 100 skill points for a couple of scrolls for cool skins earlier, so skill point is always a problem for me too XD) on crystals for 10 clover recipe! 70 shards, 7 tries, 30 clovers, 42.85% drop rate!!
69 Clovers returned, 39 came from 187/188 shards on 1 clover recipe, 30 from 70 shards on 10 clover recipe…. quite disappointed but not overly because of The 10 clover recipe. I couldn’t imagine what result could come out if I stick with 1 clover recipe…. probably I would have to find another new keyboard from work…
I farmed hard in cursed shore rest few days and set a goal of 210k karma for 100 shards, yes, ultimately for the rest of 9 clovers. Zommoros you just can’t kitten me that hard and pass me the rate lower than 9%!
Last Saturday morning, what a beautiful weather outside. Wife begged me to bring her and boy outdoor for a picnic. I told her, shut up! why? Because my guildie told me the temple of balthazar had become uncontested! i spent all my blood sweat and tears karma for 87 Shards. no, it’s not 100 yet. However, I had a faith I could get Bolt that morning. Standing front of MF and thinking which recipe I should use was a difficult decision, I understood I should NOT waste time because the Temple would become contested in 1 hour 50mins …I would still get some time to farm karma and buy few shards if 87 shards don’t bring 9 clovers to me. I don’t like gambling and never count on 10 clover recipe could bring me a huge luck again even if only 1 success out of 7 tries is enough… I had forgiven 1 clover recipe and tried it once again… after 19 tries, I had got all i needed, 9 clovers, 47.36% drop rate!! what happened?!….. i got the gift of fortune, combined all final items and got Bolt!…. and said ‘sorry honey…’ to wife… and enjoyed the beach! What a beautiful day last Saturday it was.

This Bolt being held by myself is my true legendary from then on….I will use it whenever and whatever situation is.

Thanks Sparse. I don’t expect a personal reply from dev team. However, it does need a bit level of attentions. As my mates in my list who used to love this game and left from it right now… the game isn’t there for more than 2 months. I have no problem to pay more or get monthly sub introduced, but hope to see more enjoyable contents attracting my mates back to the game.

The game right now Does need more contents to kill thirst of players who has hit 80. You can’t simply say the Whole game is the end game. That isn’t true at all. The reality is very few lv80 players are playing on the low level zone unless they are pursuing Legendaries.

Another issue,by the way, the world first legendary rush is just finished since the game’s launch 1.5months ago. it seems only legendary 2h weapons have great look skins and almost 1h legendary weapon has no chance to compete 2h. It’s just unfair, the effort required on 1h or 2h legendary weapon is equal. Players who were grinding for 1h legendary might stop paying their time on grinding for a lackluster and eventually leave this game for sure. it a vast opinion across the forum not only from myself. Look at the legendary Axe, Frostfang, what a joke.

All I hope is getting this game a real next gen MMO. For the sake of GW2, please escalate this to the dev team and let them know there is a TOP suggestion we ever seen from different forums. (the idea isn’t from me, but everyone sees it and gives a big thumbs up) We all don’t want to see this game dying too fast!! much appreciated.

GW2 is a just born game and doesn’t look like it grows stronger. It right now indeed is lack of ‘end game content’. mates in my list are leaving one by one since they get bored so quickly if they are not interested in Legendaries. They have all tried WvW/Spvp by the way. However PVP isn’t a real end game for them once they have got full exotics. Nothing left to do!

the following thread is a Diamond piece i have ever seen. we (all ppl seeing this and myself) wish Anet pay enough attention on this and bring my mates back to the game!

i have just logged 2 tickets to the support team in regards to this thread and another issue about 1h legendary weapons don’t look legendary comparing to 2h (GS or Hammer)
I would think GW2 are losing player base if they don’t fix those 2 ‘end game’ related highlights.

I would suggest we can submit a ticket to the dev team and tell them this link.
I will do it as soon as I get into the office.

bots can be a problem but also can bring players into victory (great loot chest and awesome buffs!) if they are programmed well

ABSOLUTELY NEEDED.

these group events doesn’t have a limit of ppl participating. a dragon or veteran boss fight becomes no changeling at all once a zerg group approaches to it..
yes, need Raids just for high end group PVE entertainment for sure!

quite a few of my mates are leaving off this game because they feel nothing really to do after 80 and all of us had played pvp/wvw. they enjoyed, but the enthusiasm didn’t last too long . I was okay as I was grinding for a legendary axe… but the skin of Frostfang looks just like ‘unfinished’ comparing to twilight or sunrise… shoulkittenep grinding for a lackluster legendary axe or just play another game just like my mates?
