SBI deserves full value for the win. They played for the ppt and the results show. Not sure what the issue is here, why try to troll a server playing the game how it was designed?

Seems like a silly question. No one respects a bandwagon, specially one created to dominate silver league, so you get trolled. Not sure why that is not expected as I am sure there are a bunch on your server that trolled Kaineng.

We actually never fought Kain. We were falling so hard, and they were rising so fast, we skipped each other. xD

But still. SBI goes to win this matchup (apparently we played for PPT as hard as possible) and continues to strive for the Gold league, and we are still told that we are stacking for silver league. xD

I will add Mag to the list of servers that are all waiting for us to get stomped. BP is waiting, IoJ is waiting, YB is waiting. Now we shall add you to the list. And when we don’t implode in a losing fight, I will watch everyone slink back to their own matchup threads. xD

Anyways, I am quite curious to see if Mag can overtake FA for 2nd place. They are really chipping at FA’s heals now. I would normally root for the underdog, in this case Mag, but it is hard to root for a server that has so many Kittens.

Ark maxed out at 20 people tonight. Got difficult dealing with a 40-man of SBI and FA rolling around, so we were trying to force a split to kill half of your blob in one bomb. Worked quite a few times, too.

We’d love to do more even fights, though, if you’re interested.

Yeah, I did think we outnumbered you, but never by that much. (Hard to tell with the names all in one spot), I just remember that even during the treb fight, you guys feinted like… over 10 times… xD

But even when you got VR as backup, you still seemed super afraid of hitting us.

So little Asura me, chilling at the Mystic forge in LA, when I start hearing very loud footsteps, and monsterlike grunts and breathing. They are both very loud (and a bit frightening) so I start looking around me. No one is a scary monster around me, and then I notice a charr to the North near Remaining Light, and the sounds are in sync to his movement.

I heard him on a volume a lot higher then everything else in the game ( I keep game sounds very low), and he was also pretty far from me. He then got out of visual range, and the audio stopped. And then like 30 seconds later he went to the bank, and I heard every sound he made. Twas quite weird.

I didn’t have him selected to start with, I had never spoken with this person before, he was not in my guild, party, squad, or what have you. No relation, and I randomly got his audio.

It reminded me a lot of the previous audio bug with the pets and summoned allies bug, where their footsteps and audio were at extreme levels.

Anyways, just thought I would report it. Idk if I went into enough detail, or if there is enough info to find the bug, but figured I would report it anyway.

Plz, we would beat Mag now. Back when they had us outnumbered, we could still compete with them, until off peak hours. Now that we have coverage there, we could beat them.

SoS, I am not sure. I do remember owning them during primetime, but then losing everything during off times.

I think our coverage is pretty strong now. I just look forward to leagues, so I can get some achievements in WvW. Tired of PvE getting all the achievements.

Idk….. I am pretty sure I remember Maguuma taking our keeps with ballista just because they could. Idk if that is considered competing with them or not. xD

Sure it will be fun when the RNG gods actually decide to test our mettle. I think our numbers have lots and lots of fairweathers atm.

I rarely WvW these days seeing as we normally own everything, and I can’t find an even fight anywhere. :/

It happens when 2 large zergs come together. Seeing as you have probably 70 people in that tower, not a surprise you felt some lag. xD

Before transfers, the better fights would have been in silver. Obviously it would change, and we are still nowhere near the coverage and numbers even a T3 server probably has. Although time will tell, soon enough where we really stand. xD

And most of what you said could be easily explained. So I might as well cover the bases before getting deeper into something. Some people honestly do not know some of that stuff. So my bet was neither did you. No insult there.

Anywho, some stealth lasts longer than the pure 4 seconds. So even while evading (And thieves have other evades besides dodge roll.) So easy to remain stealthed and evade the marks.

That is true. They should not be able to do that. Although if someone stealthed was ressing(see above), it would appear as if the health bar is just refilling. Just some food for thought.

How do you define an inordinate amount? maybe they were using the Magnetic Shield (No idea why, but to each his own) which would add, certainly, even more invulns. Espeically idf they picked up the 2nd shield for themselves.

Oh! And thieves can invuln, actually. Either by using said Earth shield, or stealing can give heroes elixir that gives invuln.

I think it is less a matter of getting past the legendaries, but jumping up somewhere. No idea where they would do this, but I agree with you on this part. It is a glitch or exploit, and should not be done (However fun it may be).

I just dislike people throwing out hack accusations when they don’t know how someone is doing something.

Dodge rolling through marks will activate them, while evading them. So Don’t stack all your marks in one spot, else someone will just dodge roll through and negate them all.

Also, there is a current bug out there that dead foes show an amount of health, like they partially ressed themselves. Happens on allies and enemies. Once a person starts to res, the bar goes back down to zero. So all it is is a visual bug, an illusion if you will.

And an ele running a focus with other specific traits and utilities equipped can have a decent amount of pure invulns.

Please please please read up and know what you are talking about before accusing of hacks/exploits. (Just being in there is of course, not intended. That much, you were correct.)

Or it could just be we (borlis and yaks bend) are up against a bandwagon server full of hopefuls looking to cruise through to silver victory but instead inadvertently pushed the server up to gold for some pain.

If borlis (rank12 at the time) could comfortably come second against rank 7 and 9 last week to gain 50 precious evolution points that isn’t very indicative of a server trying to tank ratings. Surely they would have rolled over and let eBay/mags have an extra borderland to play in. Regardless of how much many of us hate this idea of leagues, the server will continue to play as it always has because it’s not a dictatorship.

There is a difference between throwing the match, and just trying less.

Instead of fighting long hours to maintain a T3 keep or something, if you are tired, why not just log out instead. That is the kind of attitude going on, although it seems odd to me that they would rather roflstomp servers then have a decent fight.

But we all know BP likes to avoid fights. So not surprising they want to be in silver.

Have you checked your Character limit in the graphics section of settings?

Because that gives everyone a generic skin, and armour, in order to decrease machine workload.

Event: Defend the Pact team as they search Zho’qafa Catacombs for artifacts.

Right when the NPC’s are set to enter the main catacombs, they stopped moving, and the event is stalled.

Acolytes continue to spawn every once in awhile, but it is unsure whether these are part of the world, or the event is stuck on a loop. We tried to get the NPC’s to die, to see if that would unstall anything, but alas these NPC are the only NPC that can take a hit in this game.

I really like the idea of a hammer.

I am just imagining the #5 skill being like grasping dead, only instead of bleeds, it does an immobilize. (Like hands appear, and grab hold of target. Would be really cool)

And for the love of god, a hammer could give us a good, reliable blast finisher!!!!!!!

Maybe the number 2 skill would be, channel into your hammer for 2 seconds, chilling foes nearby, and at the end, a PBAoE happens (Blast finisher of course) that fears foes for .75 seconds.

Or just a blast finisher that doesn’t have a mega 45 sec CD would make me so happy.

Insight: I play my necro a lot less in WvW when running with a coordinated group, because when they ask for people to blast for heals and might, I feel totally useless, and like a thief for taking some might and heals from others blasting.

Anywho, just my thoughts on the matter. xD

In PvP, both are equally effective (from my view), I just use them in different situations.

Sometimes in WvW, I see someone I have decided not to like. They are kiting around, and so my dagger will be harder to implement. I switch into DS, and just use life blast. Itis surprising how may targets can’t cope with the DPS of it. Even super heal guardians tend to melt to it when they have no blocks and invulns there. And my lifeblast onyl hits for around 3k. xD

Just witnessed this 50 on 50. Was cheering for BP but they didn’t come out on top. In all fairness SBI dropped a number of balistas and did have the bridge choke advantage.

Meanwhile DDLG was breaking down the north gates in hills for a successful capture.

Idk, we had about 20 DDLG and maybe 30 on the commander. I think we just have better guild coordination during primetime and we’ve been working with our pugs and the whole server is learning to move together in the same way guild groups do.
I think if you guys coordinated your attacks with your guilds and split up your 80 man blob instead of map hopping with an entire queue you could present more of a challenge during this time slot.

It’s amazing how one server has attracted so many terrible guilds. The only reason you’re winning right now is because of coverage and numbers, not skill. SBI does not have skill and will never have skill.

Edit: Oh remind me, how many guilds have xferred to SBI? And how many of you guys tried recruiting BP guilds to SBI?

I feel like I can look up past match up threads, and every BP bragging screen will be posted after SBI all goes to bed. It happens all the time.

I think a challenge was issued awhile back. That BP should take SBI’s EB keep during NA primetime. And I believe the challenge was failed by BP. Instead, they do their ever-glorious tactic of fighting where people are not, and wait for a majority of SBI to sleep before doing anything of worth.

Since this match is pretty much done, I just want to say thank you to all the SBI and EB players that fought against my Guild. We won a lot of the fights, but we also got our fair share of kitten kicking. Keep up the good work, hope to see the same intensity next time we meet!

It is not crippled, or bugged, or unviable. Used to be super bugged. It never was unviable.

Currently Necromancer is now the strongest condition class in the game, and was severely overbuffed with the Dhuumfire patch.

Don’t listen to most of the whiners in the Necro forums. And I’d suggest you respect Elementalists and Warriors alot more. Especially, in PvP.

I definitely never said it wasn’t viable. I have had a ton of fun on my necro (Why I switched, and why it has stayed as my main)

And you completely missed my point. I was talking about how serious bugs (downed health, DS) have not really even slowed the necro community. Other classes would have flipped tables, and raised hell. Where we take it in stride, and go about making it a priority of the devs to fix it.

Imagine the hell if they randomly said, “Thieves, your stealth mechanic has been bugged since launch, your crit damage is 30% lower than it should be.”

Or Mesmers, " Oh. There was a bug preventing you from having a full set of clones. You really should have 4. Woops."

It would have blown up. What did the necromancers do? They went out and tested to see if the patch really did fix it.

And I feel for eles. I once had one for my main. xD Although I mainly feel for them in terms of build diversity and such.

The problem with necro in PvE is that PvE is all about efficiency. So while it may not be bad, people would prefer to take something more efficient. And that is something to look for.

We have always been viable, although I abandoned conditions long ago. (I detest them in this game)

So to start off, I am definitely a lurker, not so much a poster.

I started this game with ele as my main. I got sick of how squish it was, and decided to roll a necro. And then I fell in love. Since then, my necro has been my main, and all the other classes don’t seem to be as fun.

After the recent patches, I have the utmost respect for the people who have stuck with this class for as long as they have. Honestly.

Just look at the patches recently. We have been fighting bugged and crippled since the start.

It took around 7 threads, placed in different forum areas to finally get a dev response related to our downed health being significantly lower. But even before it was addressed and fixed, we fought on. Playing the class, fighting as hard as we could with it. And to the people that didn’t give up on the downed health bug, your persistence is welcomed.

And then, recently, we have been told that our main and ONLY defense, Death Shroud, was not working at full capacity. That our potential was reduced by 1/3rd. And yet, we were still here, still fighting, still going strong.

So we have been fighting and playing with a crippled class, a flawed class, and yet we persevered.

So much respect to all who have stuck with the class, who have helped the necromancer community as a whole, all the respect in the world for you all.
