This is crazy 50% dancing daggers omg, Just crazy. and 33% cloak and dagger. Just crazy man… all this damage taken away, and nothing in return. In browser thiefs will still be killing good. In tournaments thiefs will be daiing.

Thief have 2 way of being. glass canon or less glass canon.
The point is.. Thief without super burst have no way on winning a skilled player.
And reducing the dancing dagger deamage by 50% you practicly made this skill a “cripple only skill” This 50% can made a huge difference in fight!!
and reducing 33% cloack and dagger, you made the combo cloak and dagger+ back stab 33% less efective. This 33% a lto fo times means the difference betwen winning and losing.

In 8ws8 in browser, being a thief CAN be a pain in the but for others, becuse in a mass fight sometimes, you cant even see the burst coming. and bum…
But let’s be real. What can a thief do 1 on 1 without 50% of dancing daggers deamage and 33% cloak and dagger.
Rangers have now such an advantage against thiefs. Without luck and weasting a ton of utility and elite skills a thief is done against an skilled ranger player. and what should a thief do then in a next fight that comes soon?
Let’s talk against guardians. A noobish guardian is dead… An skilled guardian is very very very hard to kill, nearly inpossible for a thief. But until now there still was a way to actually kill a guardian. Now… o dear lord… a Thief against a guardian now can say a prayer and die. Of course we are speaking about skilled people, noobs die no mater what changes are made or will be made.

Against warriors will be harder to win but still possible. But a pain in the but for me…

Against mesmers… Most times a thief is dead if not using Thiefs guild utility skill.

Against enginiers…. They are such a pain in the kitten #8230; A thiefs big big pain 1 on 1 even 2 on 2… Very hard to fight them. Now even harder…

I see deads comming….. I see an update, because this made thiefs much weaker.
The point is TOURNAMENTS are DIFFERENT from BROWSER!!! in Browser people fight for PERSSONAL POINTS ONLY!!! nobody cares about winning or loosing the match.
There is chaos… and….. no actually a true gameplay like in tournaments.

Thiefs has VERY LOW defense. Can’t stand for very LONG in a fight 1 on 1 or 2 on 2…
You need to avoid teaking deamage… and everytime you attack you get some deamage… you get “exposed” and now the times you will have to be “exposed” to kill is MUCH bigger.
Almost every class will now have big big advantage.
Almost every class will have much easyer way to kill a thief then a thief has to kill the other.

Even befor the update a thief in TOURNAMENT had a hard time!
(browser let’s leave it… noobs…. there every 1 can be good, because its just about attacking people that doesn’t see you coming)

Maybe in browser the word overpowered could be used. But it wasn’t the proffesions foult…. even a warrior can do even more terrible burst deamage, but has not the run away capabilities as a thief….
But in 1 on 1 situations or 2 on 2… Thief has a hard time.
Now… I don’t know what to sad. You made being a thief a pain. Now the thief is underpowered.

And bdw. Every thief when comes to Tournaments has a big surprise when realizing that tournament ain’t browser

Oh my god..for bloody hell… 4 thiefs per team? I’m seriusly starting to think that a few people here aren’t that smart.
Happens sometimes that a team has more same classes in it. But its not only thief, but mesmers to, or warriors or any other class kitten class. It can happen and it will be happening, because as you know, you chose in which server you want to enter.
And can happen that a few people of same class chose the same server.

There is no thing as equaly good. And when 2 players are both good, what makes the diference is experiance, fast thinking, and a bit of luck.

Thank you so much, your is the first polite answer from other side that I get, since i opened the topic. Thank you so much. I get it how you feel. I exactly as you do don’t like somethings in the game. I would add some things to the game.
For example I don’t like all the heroic and forced good, forced moral and forced right behavior in the personal story
But then realized that thinking about that would just ruin the game and i started enjoing the things that I like instead of analizing what i don’t like.

I never sad Spvp was perfect, there are plenty of stuff that could be added to spvp.( wars betwen guild, duels…….) And i think they will because they sad they will. I just don’t want them to change classes mechanics, skills, specifics because right now is amazing how balanced it is…. It’s like a castle from cards… If they try to change 1 “card” they all will fall.

Actually I like very much simbol that indicated rank. It’s like a “simbol tittle” rabbit when you a noob… and then you grow up.. and get better simbols. Yes I agree, the ranking system should give you some kind of writen “titles” near your name to. That would be very cool.

next point.. Maybe is not fun to you. The GW2 wasn’t build to sadify only you in every way possible.
Some people prefer WvW, some PVE, and some PVP.
And yea GW2 is GW2 and isn’t GW1.
PVP is fun, if you can’t enjoy it its your problem. My friends i I love PVP.
I’m in guild for pvp only.. there are a lot of people that enjoy pvp. If you don’t enjoy it don’t speak for everyone!

Guild Wars is still in progress. They told many times! This is the beginning! You have a section on what you want to see in game " Suggestions"
You want to see private matches or something? post it there, i can’t see why this won’t be possible in the future.. you can suggest that and see what happens.

PVP is good as is it. There are noobs that quite pvp because they are not able to learn in a week or 2 how to be amazing… but then they come back… leave…back….and like that..
And by the way, people do PVE when they want to have some fights they go to PVP is called circle… and is kittening normal… because pvp is separated from main PVE world. Or you want the hole gw2 to be only in pvp the hole time. If you din’t noticed yet…PVE have a lot of things to keep you occupied.. + WvW….

Doesn’t mater which class you are playing! Each 1 of them can be deadly as hell. Its up to you if you to learn how to use it.
Little advice.. do not expect to be the best in a day… 1 thing that is sure in GW2 is that training make’s you better. You need experience in pvp… And if you are lv 1-10 in pvp you have a ton of less experience then a lv 10+…..
For example a guy that plays a couple of months, obiusly knows something more then you do about how to kill others if you play for a couple of weeks only.

It’s like you don’t know how to play and because you can’t learn it in 1 day you come here complaining. Grow up boys, arenanet isn’t you mommy.
believe me! Take you time… learn to play… when you are not skilled and die go chill out and do not come here posting just because you are mad at yourself. And you know you are!

When i started i was like you, i went berserker mode at home a tone of times. i was like kitten@(&(%$&$/
So believe me, I anderstend very good how you feeling and what are you going through.
And now, i can clearly see when a noob is playing, they are just lost… you can tell by seeing them how they move and act… I would be able to kill them with no sigils no nothing with any class that I’m familiar with.

Chill out, pvp as is now is very good. almost every experienced player, will not want to change things. You guys, learn to play.
Just because you may rock in PVE… remember this is no PVE. Here you fight real people with theyr own minds. Not a npc…
And yea guardians can be a real pain in the kitten sometimes… BUT there are ways to kill them 1 on 1 they’re not invincible as some peoples think….
and this are guardians, This is the way they were ment to be. If they change guardians defense the game will become unbalanced….. if you change anything at any class the game will lose the balance that is now present.
i hope someone important read this, and respond what they think about what i sad.

Ok. i think you had to let an amount of people at week play for first 14hours for free. And if you want more buy it! because i think i spend 50eur for a game that i will not even play anymore. So yes i think i was scammed by guild wars2. This game it’s not my style.
You guys were talking about “revolution” “best game ever” but that was it, just talking. The game yea it is very GOOD in graphic and in stuff that requires an good amount of work and money. but all other ideas and stuff in game it’s rely for kids or stupid people. So much cliches i haven’t seen nowhere. I think people say that has the best daialog of all games, just because it’s the only game with so much dialoges. Like i sad. Game is well done things that requires work and money, but it’s made like if it for kids. I mean. You guys gaved me inpresison of being buyers hunters.
You want to know when was the first time i was like “o sh’t, this ain’t right” At start when you have life story options, I mean to much moral junk and cliche-es.
The game reminds me a loot of american superhero movies "oo i will save the world at any cost. I will pay with my life for the good of other people. haha realy? we ain’t 8 years old kids yo. We want lust, blood, bad lenguage, no moral, true life evil and good. Not some bull escrements talks.
My mom spent 50eur for this game, trying to make me happy. and im not so im pised a lot at you. I want money back, but i won’t get it, so i feel realy bad now. I do hate you for this.
The game locking system. my opinion is it’s not very good. its complicated hard to use cuz of all this movement and control and hands movement required and uts chaotic to much. its not a 100%target lock and its not free shoot 100% its like 50% of both. and that makes it very hard to use and requires a hell lot of skills to control it and use it proper, but still is very chaotic. its a mess. I’m disapointed. This game had/have huge potential. But you guys kittent up. I mean this is a mmorpg how the hell trade is not possible and pvp on normal lobies. and where is pk in normal lobies? Competition is what makes game a mmo good. anyway i new that when i got the game. I even new that here are only 5 skills to use, what i think is the worst mistake i ever saw in a mmorpg that you can’t even chose for yourself. why isn’t here a skill tree, like in every other mmo? is a reason why all have tree skill system. because its good and we like it. Have like 60-80skills to chose from for each proffesion and build up your skill tab of 10 and have an second skill tab for bufs you can adapt to your armor and fight preferences and weapons you like to use. yea baby that would be cool. No mounts? ohh ok. No shiny/cool skills? hhhhh… not gonna work for me very long. skills you have at low lv same skills you have at 80lv? you gotta be kidding me. anyway. this was the last time i bought anything from GW2. And i feel like you guys scammed me for 50eur.
