Yes, I also like the challanges idea! It could make the dungeon experience very diverse. Would definitely add more fun to dungeons! And those tokens are good motivation

Multiple Armor Sets anyone?

If you are talking about armorswitch during combat, then I don’t like the idea. Weapon switch makes kind of sense. You just seath your sword and pull out your bow instead. But armor switch? In the heat of combat, you take of your pants and boots and shirt and everything and don your other armor, that you were keeping… somewhere on you… I wouldn’t appreciate anything like that.

Good idea.

Seriously. I think it is a good idea for exactly the reasons you mentioned. I also always wonder how I do compared to my fellow party members. A statistic would be very useful to improve on myself. Also, a little bit of friendly competition is fun. There is nothing more I can add to this discussion other than I fully agree with you and hope this gets implemented into the game.

If you create illusions with dodge roll, the mark remains. I am not entirely sure about mirror images, but I guess it also remains. The only time the mark dissappers is when mesmer goes invisible (just like mark on thief). But that also isn’t a big issue, because it’s very easy to find the real one and mark him anew.

Mad queen Malafide, you do your name justicce, indeed.

Don’t you see that EVERYONE here disagrees with you? You are very lonely in your stand. A person needs to know when it’s time to say “I have a different opinion. I see I can’t change yours, so having this discussion any further is meaningless.” This goes for everybody else here as well. Having this discussion with the mad queen is pointless.

I fully agree with Rubykuby. I prefer his fair and global point of view. His arguments convince me much much more. He doesn’t digress like the mad queen does but only if there is an urgent need.

consistency for skill slots = intuitive play

Come to think of it, consistently distributing skills to skill slots might pose a problem when main hand and off hand weapon sets are considered. In this case I would suggest:

- either distribute skills to skill slots as consistently as possible
- or allow us players to change the location of skills on our skill bar individually

(only a slight derivation to what was previously posted)

I’m also in favor of something like this. Your suggestion for the elementalist however is waaaaaay too OP Effects should be much slighter (instead 50% only 1-5%).

There are a few problems which might arise:
- constant players gain too much of an advantage (if tiers are OP), which puts off new players or players new to a profession
- more balancing issues

Other than that I can’t think of a reason why this shouldn’t be implemented…

I hope Arenanet does not have that issue

There are skills which are located on different weapon sets but have very similar effects. However, they are also located on different skill slots, which makes weapon swaps or similar abilities very counter intuitive. It is not very difficult to adapt to this flaw, but if it was more consistent, the game would be easier and more intuitive, especially for new commers and people who want to try a new class.

E.g. guardian:
Leap of faith, Greatsword: Gap closer and blind, located on 3
Flashing blade, Sword: Gap closer and blind, located on 2

Symbol of wrath, Greatsword: creates a symbol, located on 4
Symbol of faith, Mace: creates a symbol, locaed on 2
Symbol of Swiftness, Staff: creates a symbol, located on 3

D/D Elementalist:
Burnin Speed, Fire: gap closer, located on 3
Ride the lightning, Wind: gap closer, locaed on 4
Magnetic grasp, Earth: gap closer, located on 3

Ring of fire, Fire: self centered AoE, located on 4
Frozen burst, Water: self centered AoE, located on 3
Ring of earth, Earth: self centered AoE, located on 2

And there are many more cases, of course. I would suggest:
- to distribute skills on skill slots consistently, according to what they do in general. I don’t see why this would have any negative effect. The only negative effect might arise while unlocking skills, but that’s really not essential.
- to allow the player to reallocate skills individually. This would be even a better solution!

I hope this suggestion is helpful and a solution in this matter would definitely draw me closer to the game.

I am still annoyed that when thiefs enter stealth while a channeling spell is cast, they are still being hit, even after they have entered stealth. It’s not really realistic and should be changed.
