A very funny and great night to be a part of WSR yesterday. Don’t think I’ve ever laughed as much as yesterday. Prospective guilds can be a part of this ! Join the Whiteside.. Ridge.. !

Nothing funny about it. Ofcourse WSR drew the short straw again and to be the only server where you could attack a keep in the border without getting disconnected. And btw, We were about to hit your inner when we disconnected in your bay aswell. Which was funny, cause i ran into a zerg of 30 and was wondering why I wasn’t taking any damage untill you all dissapeared.

You should’ve kept it fair and square and stayed out of borders tbh, even if our bay was a no-crash zone. I guess the worst part about is that there were no good fights over the bay, it just got flipped back n forth. Which was utterly boring.

Had a taste of T1 in EB yesterday – that was quite amusing. Let’s hope the crashing is fixed asap

This constant crashing whenever u move into anything in borderlands is fecking anoying

Yea, like scootus mentioned. We want guilds that want to stay. Not just bandwagon to leave afterwards. We rather have fair & good fights.

Indeed, that 1 extra guild could also give the current guilds a breather sometimes which would result in a not-so-tired-of-defending-our-own-borderland-mentality. All we can do is hope !

I’d also like to state we want balanced and good fights – Please come here only if you mean to stay, and not just to bandwagon.

Hello WvW’ers.

We from WSR are stuck in the hole that is T8, altho it being very fun, we always come in 2nd place ( sometimes 3rd ). Our main problem is lacking organised WvW guilds.

Right now we have maybe 4, by which i mean 15 ppl +- running together per guild at reset.

Our border is constantly being pressured and we have become masters at defence this way, however, we’re very tired of always having to turtle in our own borderland, without being able to get the pressure off us by attacking a different border.

Are you a guild tired of the lag in your server?
Would you like to make a impact on strong community server ?
WSR will welcome you with open arms !

We don’t ask for much, just for once that we are the server getting a guild, and not our opponents :P.

We have public raidcall with 10K slots. We have strong and organised commanders who are respected by the majority of the community on whiteside ridge and we never give up !

Hehe, That engie indeed. A good friend of WBC, he likes to tag along with us. Ofcourse he’s always welcome. I think there’s only a select few on this match up that can match his skill level. Then again, he had quite the background training.

Only reason AS got bay back and screwed WSR over is that stupid mistimed patch. Well ok, tough luck one would think. But, we had walls at 90% when WvW went down – it’s bugged when we come back , AS flips bay and BOOM instant T2 walls. Good stuff, really,
turning one of the most fun nights of this week in WvW into a fricken kitten off. Thx a lot anet for this wonderful patch

Again I must compliment the tenacity of WSR. Each week we are outnumbered, each week we have to face servers that have far more organized guilds and each week we have to dump increasingly depressing amounts of gold into upgrading our towers/keeps.

Our newly implemented public chat program has made it a lot easier to compete and I’m pretty happy to have moved to WSR a few months ago.

WBC has a lot to learn still but I’m glad we’re now making an impact on the battlefield. There’s been some good fights so far and it seems less like a blob fest to fight against this week.

It’s fun to see those arrow carts at gates to shoot trough the gate on our defensive siege inside as the only means to get trough our defense. That being said, the arrow carts are currently waaayyy overpowered. Luckily that works both ways, it has saved us as many times as it has destroyed us.

At least we can find some good fights this week without having to face 60+ blobs. See you on the battlefield either with my guild or roaming group.

It’s great fun to have to use my zerg tank to full extent, more of this ! Great fun

We had enough troubles keeping the nearly 100 man AS zerg out of our border + keep =P

I think a massive kudos for WSR is in place this week. Fighting back real hard even with these odds..

TZ guild on AS is new? It’s the middle of the night and u have 30 – 40 ppl in our border and 20+ on eb ( TZ mixed with pugs i suppose )

+ Sometimes AS is weaker and then u focus them also. Didn’t mean to generalise tho, I apologise. Eb is just a hard place for us atm and had to vent somewhere

Good sstart of the reset, alot of good fights and pretty fun.
Was more balanced then I expected, even tho arbor seems to have gotten EVEN more numbers then last time.

Let fun continue ! It’s been good so far, hopefully whiteside ridge can keep it up activity wise during the week.

Yea, for us wsr it’s particularly anoying thatwe can never go on the offensive. And if we do – we will lose our entire border.

Well I woke up to 4 green maps today so – it’s obvious u don’t belong here in T8

Hmm, DZ only wins cause of numbers, u have 1 good guild. ( FC tag i think ? ).
You run a lot, when it’s fair fight your zerg runs, you only fight when u outnumber.
Judging by the titles your server likes farming wxp ( PvDoor ).

However, some good fight till now. If we defending gave a lot of WxP i’m sure i could get rank 100 this week.
So far so good, more good fights tho please.

@Blacktide, u have a lot of people, but u all get demoralized and stopped playing ? Not wanting to go to T9 should be incentive enough to have all in eb & borders

RoS got enough new people, WSR needs some to balance out our being outnumbered in T8 Even tho we’re outnumbered we manage to stay somewhat on top and get 2nd place most of the time

WSR ( whiteside ridge EU ) would be great for you, u’d have a handful of players to command when you play and u could make a major difference doing so

Vabbi & FoW should be merged with WSR, except for vabbi & fow our wvw population is the lowest of all servers.

The devs should merge WSR Vabbi & FoW. Call it White Vabbies of Woe server or something, as long as we get 1 solid balanced server numbers wise(wvw numbers off, we got enough PvE players ) – i’m happy

was wondering how long it would take for RoS to start talking large amounts of bs again.

The only time WBC has 35 people on is saturday at 7 pm.

Well ofcourse WvW is fun when u win with 350+ and can poke a team’s borderland out of lack of anything else to do. But anyway, I saw your fights against RG ( where there was no skill lag that i could judge ). You seemed to be more coordinated then when we had a coincedental GvG 2 days ago. Then again yesterday you were playing much better then day before, but we didn’t have our guildies on.

As i stated before, hope you stay T8 a week longer, it will suck to lose constantly and hard but ye, I want to play with VcY & RiOT some more.

By which i mean it’d be a fun challenge for us.

I wonder tho, VCY – Why did you come to tier 8 ? You guys have fought with Red Guard, what brings you to a low bracket like this ?

Thx RIOT for the fun, too bad we got whiped twice but we took revenge plenty of times ! Finally a fun guild to fight against. Too bad you chose for RoS in the end and not us, I ’don’t feel they deserved even more guilds but yea, blame that on spite and jealousy.

See you on the battlefield when we have to waste hours on end to get fortified kitten back from EB & WSR.

Also, thx for filling my bags a few times in EB RoS & AS, WSR getting better at coordination and listening, seeing as we got whiped only once ( and that was with ur kittenload of siege on SM )while our guild was commanding and we lower in numbers.

eventually it became a sad day for wvw in T8. Imbalance only got larger.

Our opponents have 20+ night cappers, we have 4-8 defenders

Hehe, the numbers have gone up a bit now, except at night we tend to have only a handfull on which makes our upgraded things free game.. sadly.

One could only hope for that, but I doubt they’d be interested, but i’ll try at least Thx for the tip !

by this I’d like to point out that WSR in T8 is looking for guild transfers, we severly lack night time activity and our counter servers in this Tier cap everything during the night with little or no resistance currently, We’d like to change this so we can have a fair fight once more.

We’re the server in this tier that is outnumbered 90% of the time which demoralises alot of players into not commiting to WvW.
You and your guild could change this and make WSR a competitive server.

Are you a higher Tier server tired of lag & Ques ? Are you an oceanic or Asian guild looking to have a fair fight at night ? Are you a person without a guild looking for a server to have actual fun and skill based WvW ? Then Whiteside Ridge is THE server for you.

We are an ambitious server striving to go higher in the WvW ladder, for this we need your help !
In our tier we are currently the only server not having benefitted from T1 or Oceanic transfers, yet we still hold 2nd place in this matchup cause of dedication and skill.

A server Teamspeak is in the making and we consist of 4 dedicated WvW guilds ( activity reaching from 15-30 per guild depending on primetime and day of the week )

WTF AS O_O They got T1 guild or smth? they had 2 groups of 20+ in our border and judging by the map, same in ROS

And, as you could see yesterday, if our PvE guilds actually played WvW, WSR would actually be a force to be reckoned with. Sadly however, after they’ve taken 4 things they’re like ‘’ Ait, we won this matchup for our server -insert /joke drumroll here- ’’.

Oh well, it was fun for the 15 mins it lasted.
Kudos to the inner defence from RoS at hills btw – I tought AS had alot of arrow carts, I was mistaken -

As for those duels, I wanna try some when I’m sober and not laughing with Herb’s stoned face half the duel, too bad bay got attacked constantly.

I’ve now asked twice for the screenshots as proof of you saying WAR was asking for an alliance.

All differences between servers aside, I feel this is something you share with the involving party ( i.e.. the rest of WSR ).

I’d really like to have those screenshots guys, so that we may proper action as a server.

Commander tag is nothing compared to the amount of money you’ll have to spend on siege. In lower tier servers people don’t upgrade towers since they think it’s a commander’s job aswel.

Unless you’re in an organized guild which will aid you in the financial aspect of being a commander, I’d think twice about getting that tag.
