If only that were true, but until it is we will try our hardest on the field.
We will accept any profession, any skill level player, within NA prime time, who is willing to learn and grow with the guild.

[VEX] wants you if you are a determined player seeking a place to call home. The brain dead, ego types can go elsewhere. We are a developing guild and have much room to grow, but only players who are willing to grow should look into us.

I’m still not sure, what is a [VEX]?

Calamitous Annihilation [VEX] is a WvW only guild on Northern Shiverpeaks that does raid-like WvW runs. We group up at a set time during NA prime time and raid until we are no longer productive. We are a fight based guild, so we are likely to test the boundaries seeing where our limits and potential stop. Our current roster allows us to run 8-10 on a daily basis, but we would like to increase that to 18-20. As we get more players, we will start to expand into the GvG Scene. We will participate in Scrims with the assumption that we have enough of our roster online and willing to participate. We do fight. We are outnumbered. We lose sometimes. We win sometimes. We always try.

What are we about?

We are about learning and growing within the competitive environment. [VEX] is not for everyone. Some players have joined and later left realizing that [VEX] can not give them what they want. As one of our leaders, I welcome anyone interested to chat with us and listen in on our teamspeak while we raid. We have been together for a year and have our own way of doing things.

What are the raids like?

Our raids are normal WvW activities within an allocated time frame. We used to raid 12 hours a day to help our server, but in the past, had too much pressure. We raid only half of the time. During this time, we engage in all defensive fights, even out-manned, which is a constant trend. Sometimes we will participate in GvGs or Scrims during our raid hours for fight training. We are not a full on GvG guild, so most challengers wanting a hardcore fight will probably be declined. While we accept challenges, this does not include signing up to be rofl-stomped and tea-bagged for being kitten players. We aim to grow, so it is essential that players interested in joining be willing to learn and grow, no matter what it takes.

What is expected of me?

You are expected to do your job and play your class. We have experienced players and a council that will take the time to teach nearly every play style and build that our group needs. It will take determination and persistence to learn these roles and do them properly! We have fun fighting and testing our skill, so being like minded in that aspect is a major expectation. Free-loaders and slackers with the zergling 1 spam attitude should look else where. It will make sense by filling out the application @ Calamitous Annihilation [VEX] site.

We have fun doing what we do, and take the time to make things fun for ourselves. No one likes to lose all the time, but even if we don’t stand a chance… we will look for a way to make things fun. More information can be found on our site, as well as watching Calamitous Annihilation [VEX] Vids

Greetings All,

We are Calamitous Annihilation [VEX]! Our guild is currently looking for more members on Northern Shiverpeaks. Over time our numbers have changed varying from 5 to 15. We are looking for about 10 more regulars. The odds of getting them are low, but we still look for like-minded players that want to join in on what we do. We are a tight knit group as we love to fight and have fun. We accept anyone who is willing to crash into our enemies and try to take everything they know and love. Guild Info:

Calamitous Annihilation is a WvW focused guild aiming for multiple daily raids. We are currently seeking to build a consistent core group of 20. Our main focus is hardcore group play using synergy and strategy. We fall very short of what we aspire to be and need YOUR help! We will fight anything that stands in our way, or die trying!

Guild Raids:

Raids are Monday-Friday, 3 days are required for participation. It is expected that by joining you agree to also make 2-3 hours of raid per day you attend. Raid times are 6pm CST – 12am CST. We usually tend to cut it short if we are lacking in people or we do not make progress. We understand that people have real lives and things do come up, in which case we ask that you communicate that to us, exceptions can and will be made.

this is just another day at the office —- the last 2 fights are GvG without being official GvGs. What made them not GvG, both guilds had stacks, pugs, and rallybots

We havent yet decided on a home. tbh were still handling our own guild kitten. we’re at least a week off from thinking about it. we’ve been scouting and farming. We have scouted 3 servers and had offers from 3 others… but we havent had the chance to really delve into the representatives of any of them. all it takes is time, but we want to make sure we end up in a place that doesnt beg us for help on our off day. we run Mon-Fri for several hours… ppl need a break ya know?

Though, even upon our arrival 2 months ago, we were the only WvW-only guild on SoR… and remained as such for our entire stay with maybe the exception of BOMB. I got the hint to look for a new home when i looked around and tried to convince the NPCs to scout for us, lol. Can’t be everywhere at once, i suppose.

Don’t get me wrong. I really tried to help, but in the end, i found it was such a futile effort to continue to fight entire servers… I put so much into SoR my entire stay, and i had a lot of fun with the groups we worked with… Even the ones who despised us, but nothing can survive in a graveyard. I wish SoR the best in T8, and hope they can get the community where they wanted it.

I appreciate your kind words! We always have fun with fights, and still reminisce about the SBI fights. While we have had some good fights on SoR, it still isn’t Piken. I do feel bad for SoR, as they are losing nearly all of their remaining WvW guilds…

We offer lots of fights and a good guild community. While seemingly last WvW guild group, we are still accepting applications for serious players who are dedicated and wanting a guild home above all else.

I suggest look into SoR. There are many small groups that roam on the borderlands, and even on reset, you are likely to find fights with similar numbers. My guild is 10-15 ppl and we find very good fights even when we split groups. Our 5 man teams ALWAYS find fights on the BLs. In general, you cannot go wrong with mid-upper bronze league for fights, because you get match-up variety, fewer blobs, and a plethora of roamers to fight.

Definitely a good group of people! My guild has followed these guys in WvW, and have had a lot of fun. They have skilled commanders and patient players, which makes it exciting to work with them. They are always willing to help out their friends and server mates, teaching them and learning from them. I strongly recommend checking out [FIRE] for both PvE and WvW Guild Interests!

A Community Like No Other
What makes Sanctum of Rall so different from the other servers? Besides being named after the memory of a man who influenced thousands, Sanctum of Rall is also home to some of the most welcoming, inclusive guilds and communities in Guild Wars 2.

Definitely the best community in game I have seen yet! My guild has been on the server for 2 weeks now, but have observed for a week prior to moving. It is a community that works together and has fun being, not just a server, but a family. I’m proud to call this place home.

As for the Fall 2014 Tournament, [VEX] will be giving all we got. We are very excited to take part in the events for this tournament, and I know it will be a lot of fun.

The fights are in plenty and so are the bags. I recently transferred to Sanctum of Rall and have not even thought about going back.
