By all due respect .. it seems to me, like “none of you, or ONLY few” actually experienced low lvl players used & placed properly .. get a lvl 4 supply camp. Provide 3x ballistas & one 80lvl to keep an eye on them .. go and watch from a hill a mindless “wanna be” zerg comming in ..
(UW server vs. Germans – Orchard ) wiped unterrly “a zerg” .. two times in a row .. afterwards that “zerg decided” to go bashing their heads against a towers gate. Nuked them with two ArrowCarts & Mortar. Didn´t see them for another 30min.
Stop whinning & learn the game mechanics. Maybe one beautiful day you start actually playing this game, not only walking around & poking stuff.
How about for “defenders” to have something to do, while they patrol & wait for enemies? With MF buff on fortification, it´s quite a nice farming spot.
Reasonable & tactical upgrating of fortifications is vital .. meaningless upgrating is the doom of your troops. There is always an interesting feeling to the walls, that are upgrated at a fortification – especially when the supplys are drained by it & a zerg of enemy troops is knocking at your gate with an own invitation to your defenders party.
Learn how to do what & especially when – under what circumstances .. then you´ll realize, that your request, or “idea” is meaningless .. for the reason that there is such an insane advantage to the upgrades right now, that more OP they can´t possibly be allowed to become.
To tear enemy small zergs of 15-30 ppl into shreads at supply camps .. to place only low lvl players at ballistas to achieve that .. to demoralize enemy before the actuall battle for your own domain begins .. Art of War .. beuaty in it´s fullest ..
.. practice makes perfect .. yet if you´re successful – you never want to stop “practicing”.

Divnity is a perfect answer for ya & an investment, that gives you a solid ground for variability .. I´m quite sure, that you´ll see “something” new on youtube, or here in forum, that will “intrigue” ya & you would want to try it. Divinity Runes are one of the very few runes, that are good, for constant Trait resets & experiments. All stats up + crit dmg .. what more to ask for?
Where could I find at least 1500×1700 picture of the range for buffs, provided by guild upgrades for Fortifications in WvW. Or at least description of the range. Very appreciated. Thx a lot.

I´m quite sure you´ve got an assasination squad somewhere .. 5x thiefs permas stealth on a mission to seek & destroy – problem solved.
Use psychology .. those 30+ ppl, won´t have patience, to stay at one place, while theyr beloved mesmer is being freaquently killed, wherever he goes.
I´ll join this matter. My wife has an old Notebook, and it´s overheating a lot lately. She won´t buy a new, cos she “only” does paperwork on it. Anyhow .. it´s really annoying, if after an half hour-hour you don´t get the chest & rewards for completion just cos of d/c .. imagine how would feel those, that would finish an Arah run & this would happen.
Find a way around it .. there´s always a way .. just think, try & figure it out.
Alright .. lets say, we have a guild, with some members on different servers .. on wiki, it is written that each server has his own influence & building ques .. but what about the research done? Is it shared among all servers, since it´s guilds research, or do the guild members of different servers share only the title & outfits of the guild .. and have to do research for each server separetly.

I grab one of my lowbies .. help besiege a tower .. claim it .. upgrade it .. pop up the guild buffs for Exp & whatever is in stock .. and do Slayer achievements around it – within the range of the buffs.
.. defend the tower if under attack .. and whine in the Team chat, when I´m under attack.
Seriously .. alter them.
My vocabulary is bad .. and my understanding of English is probably even worse .. but .. the word “Keep” for example .. surely it should represent strenght & power .. guess what – it doesn´t (well, at least in your understanding so far). With the highest probability you were risen in a pinky cage, where everything was fluffy, soft & beyond my imagination – cute. So nobody has told ya, but a keep, in general, is a freaking wall of briggs! It´s quite hard to get in, especially if those inside don´t want ya there! Surelly not a dollhouse, in which you make windows with your fist.

We 5man-ed it .. Ram – First Gate .. Catapult- Second Gate .. worst part – one member of group was 19 lvl Elementalist. 10min .. if I count cigarete, toilet & cofee.

I´ll second that opinion!
Everyone has his/hers tactics to take down an lvl4 supply camp solo. It´s not impossible .. nor hard. The matter at hand here thou is, that ppl do NOT go the “usual” way .. but use exploits & are able to “rush” it in matter of seconds.
Found out about the bug/exploit .. it appears, that it follows, like this .. agroo/pull “Guild Claiming NPC” out of the camp .. kill it. Capture circle appears .. the only mobs that will stop it, are the Quartermasters .. so after killing them as well, a rogue, or anyone can stand at the far edge of the circle & claim without engaging the rest of NPCs .. voila – lvl4 upgraded camp – useless.

.. ohh .. and the “fired up buff” of the “Guild Claiming”NPC, that appears for 5min, right after a supply camp is taken over can be rendered a joke, if you have a 3man party of Condition based players – it´ll fall withing a matter of 30-45sec .. it appears, that condition based dmg is the only way how to “rush” retake the supply camps.

Your capabilites in the Art of War are impressive indeed. But by all due respect, don´t change the subject.
MAIN POINT: All NPCs UP/Alive .. only one DEAD – Guild Claiming .. and the Camp turns sides .. as far, as I know – that´s impossible!
At Launch- level 82 meant something; but as there are not only lots more at 80- folks are getting fully geared and more legendary weapons are appearing.
Basically- 82 guards are only slightly challenging and the regular ones are push overs.
Wouldn’t hurt at all to tweak the upgrades to the point even a super geared peep could not take a camp alone and/or increase Camp NPC aggro range… so it doesn’t matter how far apart they are… they all converge on the attacker.
Love to see anyone solo all 5 at once (at 82).
Ehm .. by all due respect .. it all depends on the point of view .. I was able to defend a lvl 4 supply camp against a 5man squad – all lvl 80 ( not raised lowbies ) .. solo.
Anyhow. The original problem was .. that a player killed only ONE NPC .. “guild claiming” .. and without clearing out the area – specificaly “the claiming circle” .. he was able to take the camp.
I´m an ENG & PTV gear as well – on margo .. problem thou is. The Claiming shouldn´t happen when the NPCs are in .. cos from my experience so far, even if solo, or in group .. we always have to clear out the entire area of the circle, before the bar would progress at all. Not only the “guild claiming” NPC.
OFFTOPIC: ( .. as a detail. If you have PTV gear, divintiy runes, PPT accessories & traits that gives T% to power & V% to condition dmg, you can pretty much solo lvl 2 supply camp, with both dolyaks & theyr guards in it. )

I saw the Supply Camp contested, so I went there .. Guild Claimer dead in the middle of square .. all NPCs up .. the camp was lvl 4 upgraded .. we were holding it for 5 hours without losing it. Right when I entered it, the camp got “claimed” by the Dzagonur server. With a player from the guild “Wir gegen Euch” around.
Any explanation to it? And if you ask about a screenshoot about it – thing again beforehead. -.-
Guild Section “Art of War”, provides buffs with the requirement “.. any fortifications held by your guild in WvW ..” does the the term “fortification”, includes Supply Camps?
My concern was, that “fortification” usually refers to a fortified location – with walls, bunkers, towers, or something that provides the ability to defend from incoming enemy attacks, which supply camps do not really have. Therefore I was kinda puzzled. I do apologize, if I was simply .. shortsighted.

Alright .. my question is simple. Let´s say, I want to activate multiple buffs for the guild. How many buffs can I activate at most for the guild, is there a limitation?
example .. Just in Politics are 3x buffs for influence .. can I activate all of them right away & include different once, from different categories .. or .. no?
5-6 mil without power .. 10 confirmed deaths in Carribean, Cuba & Haiti .. 15 confirmed deaths in US .. floods that will happen & last till the end of the week .. power shortage .. fire breaking out .. and in NY a powerplant is on fire.

I´m living in Europe, and not currently affected by the Hurricane. Nor do I have any relatives across the great sea. But, my mother called me just a couple of hours ago & was crying about 60 ppl already dead due to that ..
.. point being. It made me realize a “small” thing. Ignoring connection problems – like laggs & disconnections. The loses on human lives & certainly some players in our comunity will occur. To prolonge the Halloween event would be nice for a lot of players, but it also would be nice, to honor the memory …
.. anyhow, GW2 is a game indeed, so “irl troubles” shouldn´t be a part of it, from a certain aspect, but on the other hand, we are a community, so if not Anet, then at least we – as a community, should do at least something. Anything would be of value.
