t this time, I would like you to try the following settings and see if this improves your performance.

1. Right-click on your desktop and select “Nvidia Control Panel.”

2. Once opened, left-click on “3D settings” and select “Adjust image settings with preview.”

3. Select “Use my preference emphasizing” and move the slider to “Performance.”

4. Select “Use the advanced 3D image settings” and left click on “Take me there.”

This should take you to the “Manage 3D Settings” window. Once here:

5. Change “Power Management mode” to “Prefer maximum performance.”

6. Change “Multi-display/mixed GPU acceleration” to “Single display performance mode.”

7. Change “Vertical Sync” to “Use the 3D application settings.”

Once completed, click “Apply” and start up Guild Wars 2.

Once loaded, access the “Graphic Options” window and make the following changes:

1. Change “Refresh Rate” to “60 Hz.”

2. Change “Frame Limiter” to “60.”

3. Change “Reflections” to “None.”

4. Change “Render Sampling” to “Native.”

5. Enable “Vertical Sync” at the bottom.

I did this but nothing happened.

I get 59 when the game is in the world selection screen, but 12-17 in Lion’s Arch, and maybe 28-30 on average everywhere else. Is my true FPS 60, and the low FPS areas just happens to everyone?

A friend of mine told me about steam today when I talked about wanting to use a browser in-game. I was wondering if using steam could slow the game down somehow. Maybe effect FPS?

I have a GTX 560 and an Intel E6600, overclocked at 333MHZ and 8GBs of ram. How can I find diagnostics information?

No matter what I do, high graphics setting, or low server settings, my FPS is around 24 , 30 at best. What I’m saying is high is also the same, so that leaves me to think I need to chose another server. Is there a server best for New York?

Was wondering what we consider decent FPS.
