Can we please finally just segregate the PvE builds and people from us PvP people? We dont want your builds in PvP. Change things for PvP and leave the PvE for someone else.
Why are we forced to play against or with people we’ve blocked in PvP?

As a follow-up to my post from last Friday, I wanted to give you a run-down of the changes we’re looking to make to the engineer’s turrets:
- Engineer turrets will be able to be critically hit. (Edit for clarity: this change means the turrets can take critical hits against them, but they still cannot deal critical hits themselves.)
- Engineer turrets will be able to be affected by conditions.
Considering most minions/summoned pets are already susceptible to the aforementioned changes we feel that this is a fair way to bring turrets more inline with the rest of the game. These changes should only slightly affect the viability of turrets in PvE/WvW (low creature crit chance/condition application), while providing for more counterplay against turrets.
We’d love to hear your feedback on these changes. Feel free to respond below with your comments.

I know at least 4 real life friends who quit the game because of turret engineers and have expressed interest in playing again after I showed them this post.
There is a 30 seconds grace period, so as long as you can change characters between those 30 seconds there should be no problem.
It’s acumulative, that is, if you change characters (it takes you 15 secs) and then you DC because of lag (taking this, for example 20 secs) it will count as a loss regardless of the final outcome of the match (because you have acumulated 35 seconds of DC).

I have an SSD and from the moment of hitting character select to when i load into the match, it’s at least 45 seconds.
Our team tried stomping someone 3 times today but couldnt. Is there a known hack?

I’m not new to PvP, but my friends are. I get matched up with advanced teams when I solo queue. How does this work? Do I get matched up with teams that arent advanced when I play with my new friends?
I need a definite answer on whether or not it counts as a loss for me if I switch in that minute before a match or even during a game.

O.o, really? i have spent alot of time in pvp and tbh, i fear the necro class more than any other.
A condi necro is a pain in the kitten for my engi since hes condi as well, but that does not mean a power necro can’t destroy me either, minion masters are also a pain to deal with.
Idk man, I won’t tell you to get better because i’ve not got a clue on how good you are, but I don’t think necro is not something to be wary of when you pvp.
EXACTLY. Only other class anyone fears more than a Necro is a turret engi.
Lot of ‘i think’ and ‘i believe’ going on here.
Hmm, Celtus.8456 – that’s interesting. You also play the toughest class in the game.
When people have answered this question seriously in game, I’ve gotten more people saying that it’s near impossible to be effective(reaction time etc.) in PvP without a multi-button mouse.
I do find it interesting that not one person has actually addressed the question I posted.
How many of you use a regular 2 button mouse and regular keyboard and are ranked in PvP?
Can I either play against or be paired in a tPvP team with someone I blocked?

My number 4 skill goes off by itself when someone is targeted only when im doing WvW and PvE. It doesn’t happen when I PvP. Any ideas what this could be?
Having the same problem: tPvP.
I’m trapped in here at this very moment as well.
My guild-mates and I are at this very moment trapped in a tPvP match that has been over for well over 10 minutes. Neither team can leave the match, no matter what we try to do.
The best question is does it count against ‘dishonored’
There was a serverwide disconnect for everyone in my guild about 5 minutes ago.
My last ticket was ignored, and that’s fine, but this time you can ask my guild members. We were doing a team 5v5 tPvP tournament and I kept getting disconnected. It is very very harsh that I have to wait 3 days to play the game again because of power outages in my house.
I sometimes just am in complete awe at times when i play this game. So I’m in a hotjoin spvp… I come up to a mesmer (ONLY 1) and i’m hoping to at least stall till my team arrives. Absolutely no exaggeration—- This guys skill rotation had me not able to use one ability………………….. NOT ONE.
I just got tossed around. Waited. Waited. Tried to activate my heal.. dazed.. waited.. waited.. I DID NOT GET TO USE ONE ABILITY
Is this some kind of joke Anet is playing on this class? Why? Why in gods name do we not have stability? Why? Why is it so inconceivable to have stability but burning is? This is not an attrition class. It is not a “in the middle of a fight and taking damage and blah blah blah”
I’ve really just been awoken. This is nonsense. Absolute nonsense. Why don’t the necro’s just be redone so that they only have health. No abilities. No interesting gameplay mechanics. Nothing interesting or useful at all. Just lots of health. So we can run around and take damage. lots and lots of damage. lol who came up with this?

My account has been blocked due to unacceptable behavior, and I think I know what I said to a user that got me blocked, and I do apologize for it, but to be completely honest, I wasn’t sure if it was completely unacceptable behavior because I have seen people say worse consistently and I know of people who have reported them repeatedly but they never had their accounts blocked. This is why I thought it might not have been completely unacceptable. I’ve put a lot of time into this game, and I am the leader of a 500 member guild. Could I please have my account unblocked? I’ve tried to submit a ticket.
I didn’t want to post this in a recruitment thread, as I wanted to leave the name of the guild out to avoid any negativity. Our guild is made up of 500 active members on the Blackgate server who are ready and eager to get out there and do some WvW, but we’re in need of WvW commanders. I’m barely at 50% health when solo roaming in WvW. Guess i’m just not that good. Does it make sense to go 5 scholar/one ruby?
Looks like i wasted 20 gold. So should I replace my last scholar on my boots with a ruby orb?
Do you lose the map completion star ever? Let’s say its a year from now and there are many new zones made. Do we lose the star?

I was doing fractals 28 with ‘Saint Templar’, ‘The Prime Darkness’ and my name is ‘Brutric’ in game, and we got to the 3rd fractal when it was bugged after we broke all the seals. There was no way to continue. We wasted more than an hour of our time for nothing.
What can be done here?

I get great, 60+ FPS everywhere but in the vicinity of a waypoint. Any ideas?

The one thing I miss about WoW, and the only thing I think it has over GW2 is the absolutely amazing music.
Are there any plans for new music in GW2 for the expansion? If so, will the expansion cost anything?
