Using any shout will put you into combat mode for a short time, and if you have auto attack set up it will target the nearest mob…same thing happens to me a lot when I “Save Yourselves” past a group of mobs.

For any Guardian build I find that the following combo of +Stats are best: Power, Toughness, and Vitality.

Interestingly enough, these are found on the PvP items but I feel that they are best for PvE as well.

I run mace/shield for protection/healing and better tanking ability. I leave the DPS to the DPS’ers, i.e. Rangers.

I like scepter/torch when I’m soloing PvE as it seems to give me a decent mix of mid-range to close-range skills. But yeah, don’t go guardian for ranged skills.
