Sword and Pistol, not quite sure what kind of abilities they’d have but having a S/P is kitten to me.
warriors will still be able to solo Arah.
Im new to GW2 so bare with me. Are warriors actually able to do this or are you being sarcastic? because myself as a warrior have been having trouble even in the personal story line lol.
edit: By personal story line I meant my characters not the dungeon story. Sorry for the confusion.

Im stuck between Rifle and P/S. I like how I can net shot then jump shot into an enemy then follow up with blunderbuss and overcharged in a neat row. However I like the defensiveness of the shield.
In practice though Ive been using bomb and nade kits for *~@"s and giggles. Circling an enemy throwing nades at them and dropping that big ol’ bomb.
Because after lvling my ele to 25 I got bored of being a magey type and wanted to pummel something. Now my warrior is my 1st lvl80 character, took me 9 to11 days but I got there.
GS wielding Asuran looks like a midget bobblehead version of Cloud Strife, well to me at least. Auto-attack=Cross Slash, arching slash=Braver, 100 blade=omnislash, rush=climhazard and the thrown one=that limit break with the tornado effect.
I don’t do much PvP but the lack of decent heals is affecting me in PvE too. Pretty much all of the time Im fighting same or 1 lvl higher mobs, I’m thinking ‘I could really do with a Guardian or Ele for heals right now’.
You’re PvE’ing wrong. Warriors are hands down the best at PvE, focus on doing damage and everything will die before you need to heal.
I have and constantly do, Ive only been playing for 10days and about 5-6 of those have been as a warrior, Ive reached lvl75 so far. Still the heals are underwhelming in comparison. I mean I was under the impression that each class was supposed to be self-sufficient.
Not saying I would like uber healing just healing that’s on par with other professions.
9/10 doesn’t follow asuran naming conventions but sounds awesome.
Made a new Asuran engineer, Willow the Mighty. Was going to called it Willow Ufgood or Warwick Davis but both names were taken.

Pfft If I’m going to be evil, I’ll be evil in my own way.
Definitely lacklustre, however on my warrior with lacklustre healing abilities the asuran golems are worth it.

You’re using proper punctuation on the internet? You fiend, don’t you know that is STRICTLY forbidden!
On all seriousness, why would people really get kitten over the punctuation, they’re usually too busy harping on grammar to care.
I’ve been confounded by this myself as I’ve never run into ’!@# using proper punctuation….ever. Then again its rare that I do use it properly as maths and science were my strong points and the rest took the backseat. I also may be dyslexic but I never bothered to get tested for it.
Only things I would change with the warrior is buff the healing abilities a bit to heal at least 50% of our hp. Right now most of my activity has been filled with thoughts of ‘I should probably ask a guildmate for a healer’.
It would probably screw everything up but right now, the only viable route seems to be kill before I get killed.
As long as people aren’t being rude in chat, I don’t care how they type.
I agree but I kinda care that make sense, the amount of arguments I’ve been in or seen because someone mistyped something is staggering.
Ive gotten so used to potions in RPG/MMO games now then when I first made an engineer I thought the elixir skill was a consumable.
I quite like it this way.
For me being “heroic” is continuing to fight in spite of weakness and when bad *@!# happens or Aeris dies you pick yourself up and run headlong into danger.
For me a hero isn’t just one person, its a band of people coming together and standing united regardless of their differences and having their enemies fall divided!
I also like saving the world everynow and then.
Race: Asura
Gender: Female
Profession: Warrior
A particular shoulder peace has been cause my weapons (rifle, greatsword and swords and axes) to sit in the wrists and not in my hands. Hiding it relieves the problem but showing returns it. The model/skin is that of a single pauldron on the right shoulder.
Out of the 5 races, only 4 Voices appealed to me. Of those 4, 3 looked visually appealing to me. Of those 3, 2 were non human and of those 2 only 1 completed the FF7 nostalgia….and that race is Asura.
Sure an Asura is a few feet shorter than Cloud Strife but the way they carry an unsheathed greatsword reminds me of FF7 so much that its worth it.
7/10, don’t think I can pronounce the first name but I like it. I quite like first and surnames even if it is against the naming conventions.
Ive made a new female asura warrior called Sobanii The Fearless, with no helm(ok so I hid it but still) and a greatsword. Started a old thing of mine when facing hordes or bosses I’d say “Honor the dead and fight for the living, for united we stand and divided they FALL!” as I charge them.
WildHeart, Id stick with Ferron Madgear, I can just imagine this bulky charr with a backpack, rifle and heavy duty goggles on. 10/10
My female charr warrior I’ve called Warzogra, Im just finding my niche weapons, sticking with a rifle as my long range but not so sure about melee.
Im not bothered with it. The only FemVoice I cant seem to bear is the Norn one but that’s just me
Kirito The Blades, I don’t get the reference so no brownie for me
, I do like it though 8/10. Some reason it reminds me of a FF8 character…Kiros.
My Female thief is Torvidna Melanna. Its my usual alias now since my first brush with MMOs, in FFXIV where my Miqo’te was called the same. Personally I think is fits a Elf archetype character more but I don’t know the naming conventions of the slyvari, who I see as the sort of “elf” type.
7/10, First outlandish name I’ve seen that I think I can properly pronounce. Im brand new to GW2 so I cant really comment on if its a fitting Asuran name or not.
My Asuran Elementalist I’ve called Karan Soban, though I rushed ahead and missed out ‘ii’ at the end making it Karan Sobanii. Would have gone with my usual alias Torvidna Melanna but I would think it fits the sylvari more.
