Rather than make a new thread, i thought I’d add to this one…

I have had this problem with mistfire wolf for quite a while, although I didn’t realise it was footsteps, I assumed it was a bug that triggered when it casts it’s AoE skill. Sort of sounds like falling boulders.

But it’s VERY loud, so much so that it is uncomfortable to wear headphones when it happens, last time it happened was yesterday so it certainly hasn’t been fixed.

I’ve been saving my black lion keys for this, just in case they pull another halloween. Though I doubt my 3(!) keys will give me much of a chance.

The whole of southsun cove is unplayable for me. i go about 1 minute, all my skills stop working, it doesnt even D/C. I then get killed by something that’s half way across the map, because apparantly that’s where I am. I can’t rez at a waypoint so i have to log in and out again and spend silver to rez yet again

was in an event on Aurora Glade (for about 1 minute), got disconnected, as did the rest of my party. On logging in again, no event in new instance…

yep, same thing happened to me, was in one overflow, hideous lag out when it started, disconnected, log back into another overflow and nothing

So the non exotic armour is supposed to be a standard skin then? why the hell would anyone waste their tokens on that?

The dungeon armour from every single merchant is showing up as the same regular armour.

light is cabalist
medium is pirate
not sure what skin the heavy is

Also each vendor has duplicate items in their list. All pieces are for the same character level, there are no exotic versions.

Strangely no one else seemed to be having this problem. The weapon previews all worked fine

The screen shots are of light, medium and heavy chest pieces, each from a different merchant, for good measure.

EDIT tried it on characters of all races and is the same with all of them

my poor (apparently) big nosed, heavy browed girl just cant get a break!

Issue 1 Seeker mask – nose clips through ( i haven’t been in a position to see if this happens with any other type of mask, but all seeker masks have)

Issue 2 Eagle eye goggles strap clips through the brow.

goggles i can live with as it just looks a bit like its torn, but the nose is ridiculous!

I’ve included a screenshot from the side without any headgear as well so you can see the size of her features better

Issue 3 i know someone has already said hair clipping cannot be solved, but this one spoils it so much i had to add a screenshot anyway in some vain hope…any shield carried on her back clips really badly when moving.

Ah, I think I have just found the answer to my own question!

So I run the client, a patch downloads, press log in and it gives me the message saying that since my IP address has changed an email has been sent to authorise login.

Only my IP address hasn’t changed. I use a wired connection, same computer, NOTHING is different from when I played 2 days ago.

I received the email , and it let me log in (though for some reason it listed log in location as covent garden, bit specific, bit off) but I’m still slightly concerned, has anyone else had this?

Right, I bought one off trading post to see as it was only 75 copper.

In my inventory the thumbnail reverts to the standard staff, in preview it’s the standard staff, then when I open black lion to sell it… It’s the special thumbnail again!!

There’s going to be alot of angry people if this is happening with other weapons, expecting a special skin but getting a bog-standard one.

I think I’ll report it as a bug. I know some fancy things have a standard thumbnail, but it’s not on having it the other way round.

So now I’m semi convinced this was the staff I was looking for with a messed up skin…

Order of Whispers? That sounds like a special set? It would’ve come from a foe drop, nothing special I bought anywhere.

Ok, so I have just had a thought after you asked my level (22)… the date I took that was August 31st, which was the day before I went on holiday. I only came back on wednesday so really, I should still have it in my inventory…

I originally thought it was my staff of hobbling, but when I equipped it was just a standard skin the one that looks a bit like a rosebud in the thumbnail so dismissed it.

I just searched for my exact same staff at trading post and the thumbnail is different and looks like it could be the staff I’m looking for. but when you mouseover and the stat box pops up, its the standard rosebud picture (I just tried to take a screenshot of the stats but the stat box doesn’t show in screenshots?!)

You think it’s possible the skins have been messed up in an update?

So I didn’t realise how much I loved this staff until I was browsing my screen shots.
I have no clue what it was or what I did with it, I probably just sold it to a merchant when I got a better one in the heady rush of the first few days!

I’m really regretting it now as I’m not really loving any of the staff’s I’ve got and I could’ve saved it to transmute

Anyone know if it’s a standard race skin? e.g glyphic, krytan etc, or where I’m most likely to find it?

It’s times like this i wish you could preview item’s on trading post!

Yes I have this as well, I first reported it in game as a bug specific to a personal story quest, but its happening on all of them…
