Ok so here is a thought on how to make it possible for everyone to enjoy One-time events
- Roll the event out across your over flow servers every hour during a 24 hour period.
- When you first log on you are given the option to join the next running of the event.
- Once you have taken part in the event you will not be able to access it again.
- You can then control the numbers making it as lag free and accessible to you worldwide player base.

Now I am no techy so I don’t know if this is possible

I agree with you on this one. But then we are just seen as QQers.
As a combine area Asia/oceania has a huge player base and numbers of people.
If the plan was to gear events to finsh at NA/EU prime times why bother to sell the game in our region we just get frustrated.!!!!!

So as my thread and this on have been merged i take that someone from Anet has read the feed back from both threads.
Can we please get some feed back on the thinking behind finishing a major event on a Monday morning in most Oceanic/Asian time zones.

I have to work so on the odd occasion i can spend some of my hard earnt money in your gem store .

Maybe an idea would be to get Asian/oceanic severs that we can play on and have events timed to roll out on our weekends. Even if we are just stress testing it for the NA/EU luanch lol

As this event kicked off at 9.00am monday morning Kiwi time i missed out on the chance to take part due to having to be at work. I enjoyed Phase 1 and 2 and was very dissapointed to miss phase 3. could please take the time to look at one off events only spanning 2 day so us antipodeans can follow the whole event chain through and not miss the chance to fight for rare and exciting goodies.

I was having the thought the other day how can we replace the orbs?

this is what i come up with.

- Adding an underground battle field to each map (Catacombs ?)
- Each Catacomb has 2 Statues of a GW god/Dragon which gives your world a boost relating to its Origin (Grenth- Power ect)
- You gain a small increses to your world stats each scoring round if you control the Statue.
- There would be a max cap you could reach on each stat increse.
- if you lost a statue your stat relating to that statue would decrese each round.

This is just a thought and i would love some feed back on this

As a kiwi who plays WvW i would like to say any Oceanic players out there move to SoR we have great commanders and Guilds on during the Nightshift (as we are called ) but i would love to see what we could do with a more even playing field.
Not that i dont enjoy defeneding stuff when you are out numbered 3to1.

Can i just ask with out getting trolled has the make up of TC server changed as people keep posting that most of your server are Casual WvW players how did you get to Teir 3.

Just a small idea that we can have Saved traits that still cost to switch but can be done on the fly. I play an Ele and in WvW run D/D in open play and staff during atk and Def of keeps ect…

The resone for this is my D/D trait set up is diffrent to my Staff set up

Would this make us OP or just a bit more Versatile.

I have 30 in the Arcana slot and use the Churning earth at the end of a dodge trait and find it effective. also use arcan shelid while casting to prevent intruption and if your quick you can get two busts of churing earth off no problem. oh and up draft at the end is also fun.

its fun to watch the drop very quick. I love playing ele in WvW

Ok so Pre launch the talk was that SoS was going to be an Oceanic server i choose not to jump on this band wangon and went to SoR insted.

The effect of this is SoS has a Heavly populated Time due to alot of the sever being from the same time Zone (give or take a few Hours). Also we know our download speed is not as quick down this end of the world could you not have forseen things like the patch happening?

so please just except SoR are gritty and dont go down without a fight

In our defence, when we took that first orb back by taking the Hills keep in the SoR BL, you guys were hardly afk. The pile of our dead kinda went to show that. Still, I can probably appreciate that it wasn’t the same sort of numbers that you’d had a couple of hours beforehand.

I was one of the defenders last night and trust me when i say there were not many of us there.Defending that orb was the most fun i have had in a while i did feel sorry for you trying to get into the orb keep room.

I find the Lv Scaling does not effect me that much. Once you get your Exotic armour/Weapons you are at a high base stat LV anyway.
So you are still stronger than a Beginner and mobs are slightly easier.

I also like the fact you still have to stay on your toes though.

Maybe Gargoyle on toast is a Charr’s Favouriate dish.

In The natural world when a new Species is introduced to an area it tends to have an effect on the localized Species maybe the gargoyles just became extinct due to the change in the food chain.

Very sad but getting excited when i relized my Sylvari Glows at night.

I agree with the above comment. i went on for my World completion and now i am a regular player of WvW.

Just get on join group and you will have the POI and Vistas in no time.

If you wonder around on your own you will just be cannon fodder.

I just want to share that last night in WvW i was attacked by 3 players and managed to hold my own taking 2 of them down. I was quite impressed.

i Love all this talk of “night teams” its not night when i play its day time. the world is bigger than Europe and NA. I come from NZ one of the first Places in the world to see a new day. so therorictaly most of you are a day behind all the NZ players. I enjoy WvW and think the idea of it being a 24 hour 7 day a week battle is great. I never have a problem getting full on battles or exciting Confrontation.

Race : Largos ( Sayeh al’ Rajhd just looked so good )

Profession : Has to be Ritualist (just imagin the WvW with armies of Spirts)

SoR is great i have been helped on a number of occasion and returned the favour many times. In all online enviroments you get the Idiots (but that is what the block fuction is for).

Having a Group of players on the same server helps as you start to get to know everyone slowly.

but please note that with out us Ele’s how would everyone else get their WvW kill rate up

Love Ele all you want, but you will not be as good as any other class in the game.

There is easy mode, there is hard mode. And then there is Ele’s, the cloth wearing ranged class who does the least amount of ranged damage with the least amount of survivability.

There is just nothing fun about that. It’s quite pathetic that such a busted class even exists.

Ok so ele is a choice for a player who wants a bit of a challange. I personaly get more satisfaction out of taking down mobs through skillful play rather than charge on on there and spam the 1 and 2 key.

We are all entitled to play the game our way i was just hoping to find like mined ele players on this thread not moaners who always say its busted beacuse they can be bothered to learn the class.

I do have to admit many a time in WvWvW i have found my self screaming “RUN FOREST RUN” when i have accidently stumbled across a big mob.

Ok so i have just hit LV 80 and enjoyed every stage of my ele’s development. Ok so we feel that Areanet are not looking at the bugs and broken parts of being an ele but i feel that has been more of a challange to get to lv 80. So we are not as strong underwater (learn to be crafty your not a heavy armoured tank). i was just hoping that a nice positive thread about why we like running around with our staffs out would be nice for a change. look forward to hearing your HAPPY thoughts.
