What we need to do is get crushed willingly and let the bandwagoners outgrow BG and we need to grow as a community and try to “trudge” out of T2 opposed to absolutely making tons of noise.

I don’t think any of this happening is ‘willing’. If you guys had your choice you’d be 500k above us right now and forum boasting how bad you stomped us and how Beastgate is the best pony.

Its funny you say that, its the exact thing you do in every other thread when SBI is winning, yet you were no where to be found when SBI was losing.

I’ll tell you why JQ isnt doing as well as we should be, our absence of a night time crew. I havent seen any of our bigger oceanic/asian guild at all for the past two matches at all. We literally have no queue on any map after 11pm+ EST. During NA peek time today BG couldnt do anything against us, nor could they any other day. Even with that golem army two or so days ago it took 15 golems for them to get SM and I lead a group right back in not even an hour later and took it back.

If they like beating on empty keeps at 3/4AM then so be it(the only thing hod was good for), they’ll play how they’re going to regardless of what anyones going to say so more power to em. Same thing with the mesmer portals, quite frankly I dont see a problem with it at all, its a good tactic.

The only issue I have with it is when they just stand on top of it after its done and use faulty aoe mechanics to their advantage(you know very well what you’re doing, yes you’re exploiting it). The other real issue I have with BG is the same I had with SBI last week, this massive chest thumping like it REALLY means something to be in first place. I congratulate any server that can obtain it, but leave your crappy attitudes and egos for your own TS, dont bring that crap to the forums. Its something called respect, and its painfully obvious a TON of BG players/guilds have none of it just from this thread alone.

As for why theres a lack of presence from SBI? I have no idea, I always like matchups against them because they have generally good skilled players and its always fun to test your limits and learn to adapt different play styles.

I really wasnt going to post anything negative but where was the massive crap talk from you last week? You know, how you lost by what 300k points? You can run around thumping your chest as loud as you want, but enjoy the bandwangoners. Better yet enjoy that massive surge of oceanic players you were so desperately begging for and got. SBI did the same thing, got kitteny when they pulled ahead of HoD then had their foot shoved in their mouth and it’ll happen again. Oh and before you make some stupid retort of how i’m making excuses or mad, i’m not, i’m spitting facts.

To the other SBI players, you know the ones not full of themselves keep up the good fights.

SBI is hardly a bandwagon server. The people that pulled us ahead are the same ones that play their hearts out week after week. The same commanders that always organize the groups came up with the strats that we executed with success. Sure we may have gotten some EU servers which have helped to cover our non-peak gaps and helped us to maintain what we captured during our peak ours, but we’ve certainly not gotten the flood of people that JQ or BG did, nor do we want them.

I look forward to another knock-down, drag-out fight starting tonight. IoJ you guys fought very well and I hate to see you guys go back to tier 2. You are definitely tier 1 quality.

People please stop server hopping. Have some pride.

I didnt say you were a “bandwagon” server, I simply said enjoy it when it hits your server. Regardless of if you want it to come or not it will until the free transfers stop, everyone knows it. It plagued our queues up terribly and a ton of our BL guilds went to other servers. Is that an excuse? No, its the truth, your server has won fair and square.

instead of fighting the Sbi and IoJ, people starts to challenage our commanders and question their decision. It is so hard to form a function zerg in BL right now without seeing a few guys question them.

Exactly one of the reasons why i’m not out there. I left around 5am EST last night, we had upgrades going at SM and were doing a decent job keeping SBI off our land for the most part. I come back on later tonight to see everything but our keep taken(getting attacked from ioj at north, sbi south). I tried to rally a force of our guys who were doing squat and no one wanted to listen at all. Eventually we got things going and started to cap most of our land back. The attitude of the people on our server never used to be like this at all, I partly blame the free transfers and the bandwagon hoppers.

Overall its been a fun week, I enjoyed it immensely and look forward to another good match up regardless of what place we finish. Oh and who ever that little asura necro commander on sbi night crew is, great fights at golanta! Take care everyone, see you out there.

I wish these transfers would go back to where they came from. WvW has been extremely boring for the past few days and its sad. I used to love getting in and fighting against SBI/HoD and I actually didnt care if JQ won or lost, because there were GOOD fights that kept me coming back in. Now its nothing but stragglers here and there or absolutely nothing but killing champions in a pvp zone. I just want to thank any SBI/HoD player who keeps coming out for the sake of it, and may we find each other of the battlefield.

I’d just like to say today was the first time I saw an influx of these transfers. Their constant insulting of people who i’ve gotten to know through playing on JQ since the start is just crazy. If you didnt put in the time and effort to make this server what it is please do us a favor and go back to where you came. It is absolutely ridiculous how these many people can come to OUR server and disrespect OUR players that brought us to where we are. I hope anet closes these free xfers and puts a 2 week CD on being able to do it.

There was so much chest thumping bravado about how HoD wins because they have a “warrior spirit” that noone else did. So many people said, HoD just never gives up and that’s why we are #1!

Funny how that works out.

Maybe we will finally get a chance to do a SBI/JQ/ET match soon. JQ seems to have inherited a ton of WvW players in the last week or so, I am curious to get another chance to fight them.

I have seen a few new people but not many, at least in EB. Most of the new players didnt contribute to our success either, they’re just jumping on the bandwagon. I personally hate people who jump ship, i’ve been on JQ since launch and will be until I stop playing the game.

There are some reports of a large guild on ET (ahem) breaking into an HoD keep, destroying all the siege, then standing in the tunnel and doing nothing while JQ later broke through another gate and took it. No attempt made on the inner gate. Now, there is no alliance necessary for that to occur. All it takes is one very large guild with the knowledge that it can not win a match and the desire to ensure another server loses it.

If you or others are going to make accusations like that you guys better state names and show some proof, plain and simple. I honestly dont spend as much time in the BL as I do EB so I cannot account for what goes on there, but for the sake of bringing stuff up like that then the persons making that claim need to show proof of it. Similar to the orb hacking thread(proof provided), if people see stuff going on and its wrong then they typically take proof(screen shot/fraps). I’d like to see something that backs up these claims.

RiversOnFire.3607, the guild Ruin on ET seems to have, somewhat an alliance with JQ. Yes, HoD and ET should align to fight JQ, however, due to prior weeks. Many feel that HoD “deserves” what they are getting. HoD is still in second place though, fighting a good fight!

There is no alliance with JQ and Ruin, my group spent a few hours fighting against them at ogre/umber/orgath last night. Not sure who concocted this idea but its pretty funny. Better yet when HoD made that big push to SM last night why did they help take durios/umber from us if they were working with us? Some people need to take off their tin foil hats already and stop making excuses for why their server isnt performing well.

Its a shame some players have to exploit and the server is getting tarnished. All of ET cant really be held responsible as i’m sure most if not all of them dont condone the actions of that player.

On the other hand its quite funny a few HoD players are claiming that we’re working with ET. Like Ost said last week there were days where nothing was traded between SBI/HoD at all. I personally was on EB for a few hours earlier in the night and I spent 90% of my time fighting players from ET at orgath, we then pushed and took ogre/pang. So either these players that are making these claims are blind or they’re making excuses for them not being able to defend their land, and I tend to believe its the latter of the two.

Though like stated above, I hold nothing personally to any server because each one has their bad apples. I play to enjoy the game and continue to do so win or lose, hopefully we can get some good fights in here and there between both HoD and ET as it seems to be a good match up.
