wow – I run GW2 on bootcamp with exactly the same machine, but all I am able to play with decently is low to medium settings.

in WvW frames drop to 15-30fps depending on how many players and effects are going on. I can hardly believe you can play at all settings on high!

I had a very nice Condi build for WvW using the karma set in the beginning which was a lot of fun to play (it was something like: 10/0/0/30/30), focusing on shortbow and double dagger oder for better 1vs1 survivability pistol/dagger.

You can buy the Karma set with condition damage in Orr, right next to the entrance of the Arah dungeon (about 45k karma per item). – there are two Vendors though, only one of them selling the condi damage items!

Other than that: crafting!

As far as dungeons are concerned: you can choose which kind of stats you want no matter what dungeon you run- only the runes will change. Depending on which runes (or crystals) you want you could buy them in the AH too though. Some of them (especially if you go for crystals instead of runes) are not that expensive.

I absolutely agree. Zoomed view is terrible. It would be a LOT better if instead the camera would zoom out.

Right now when I’m downed my computer almost crashes because of all the effects I’m zooming into!

I will play for sure – but no WvWvW – it’s rarely fun at all, the way it is right now.
