Sanctum of Rall is alright :P Their NA is pretty hektik. Can compete with sos’ if not better having experienced it myself. IMO they’d be more successful than blackgate in t1 if they filled up a bit more in the sea/oceanic/eu areas.

Also, I know people posting on the forums does not represent a whole server but going by peoples posts I’ve seen over the months, it appears to me that SoR are the only bunch who seem to have respect for SoS :P

The. Match up between our servers helped us become a lot better at what we do, respect is always due when you go up against great opponents like SoS.

On another topic being on SoR from the days of rank 17, this server has developed into one of the best community’s of any mmo I’ve ever played, its the only reason I’d forever stick with this server win or lose.

Agreed. Like them or not, SoS is a force to be reckoned with (after all they are #1). Having seen both feast and famine, respect is the name of the game for us. I am very excited to have more Oceanic guilds joining us, allowing us NA players to catch up on some much needed sleep :-p

Not “when” but “if” we get to tier 1, I hope it happens when we are ready as a server, having all of our guilds working together as one well oiled machine. No need to rush into tier 1

As a dedicated WVW player I couldn’t be happier (if the grapevine is true) that several other guilds will be joining us shortly. Having said that, I know what it’s like when people leave your server for another. Back in the day, when SoR was 14th or 17th (not sure which one was our lowest rank) it was hard to maintain the optimism. Hang in there SBI, good days and bad days come and go.

Just wanted to thank SBI and TC for what has probably been the best week of wvw combat I have ever seen. I’m not happy just because we finally changed color (after at least 2 months of being blue) but because every single time I logged in there was always an epic battle somewhere to be had.

I look forward to yet another week of awesome fights!

I foresee a tight race between TC and SBI.

As for SoR, we want to build slowly with community based guilds. We don’t want guilds to join our server because we are working towards T1, we want guilds to join our server to be part of our family and enjoy the game no matter what tier we are in.

T1 is not the goal, just the side result of good guilds working together. The goal is to have an organic sustainable server that provides its community with good competitive fights.

Very true, I’d rather be last and have an awesome community than first and be full of server hopping kittens. So far, I think we have one of the best communities in the game

I didn’t say Tier 1, I said first in Tier. Score evolution has us a long way from Tier 1 as Blackgate is still trending up.

We would like to thank SoR for welcoming us. The rebuilding of our fully upgraded guild perks is the hardest hit. That and leaving behind so may good people. We want to thank those who have contributed to rebuilding, and those still waiting to send. Moving servers is never an easy decision, but the folks on SoR made the move a pleasant one for us and I think we will really enjoy being here.

On Another note, last night [Choo] and [CDS] we’re attacking Sunnyhill. Some of us glitched in the tower while the gate was still up and I was very proud to see everyone who glitched in jumped back out of the tower without taking advantage of the bug; and they did it without being asked or told to do so. Just another reason why I love SoR and the wonderful people I get to fight alongside every day

LOL I bet. You guys have been the Blue team for 10 weeks. 3 months zomg! When the time does come that your team color changes you’re not going to know what to do with yourselves.

I am actually thrilled with the competition this past week. With Blackgate it was like they never came out to fight unless they had megazerg 2000 on their side then they would opt for the fight where there is no resistance. So far this week I’ve seen more action than ever before. I love this matchup and have to say it’s been my funnest to date.

I know people give us crap on SOR because we’ve been in 5th for ages. Blackgate loved rubbing it in our face. However one little tidbit everyone ignores that I am quite proud of is that SoR has never gone DOWN a rank. Since launch we have only gone up. Each week we get a little better. Now someday I am certain we’ll go down a rank but to go 5 months without a single – rank is quite an accomplishment. One not many can say they’ve achieved. I’m proud of our server and am very happy to call it home. We don’t need to be #1. We need to be happy. Happiness comes from surviving the fights you shouldn’t, defeating the enemy far stronger than yourself, and achieving that which was deemed impossible. Our success is not measured by what place we are in but on how far we’ve come as a community. I look forward to our continued growth and adventures.

I agree with the sentiment, except that we did go down a couple ranks during the “dark days”. Any from SoR who started wvw from day one will remember the days when FA completely dominated us and left us without a single tower or even a supply camp. Having said that, we never gave up and kept fighting even when we couldn’t leave our spawn point. Many old school [Choo] members, when our guild was [FL], remember the “dark days”. I believe our lowest rank was 14th or 17th place; after that it has been a hard fought climb all the way up to 5th place. I couldn’t be more proud of SoR and of [Choo].
