I wish. It’d be nice if this was added to a guild npc or some kind of board . I’d like to filter guilds based on world, recruitment status (open to join, open to apply, closed), number of members (with counts by race, profession, craft), upgrades and/or overall influence earned, categories set by the founder(s) (pve, pvp, both)…
3rd party sites do some of this, but having something hooked directly into all that data would be amazingly helpful. As for map recruiting.. that can get pretty old pretty quickly, for both sides.

We’re recruiting on Sanctum of Rall though. And while we’re not PvP focused, WvWvW is something we expect to do on occasion for exploration / map completion.

Some things to keep in mind (and my apologies if you already know):
You don’t have to change servers to join any guild, and you’re not limited to one guild, although some guilds may not like multi-memberships.
Being on a separate server makes it tricky to actually play with guildmates, but it’d give you an idea of when, how many, and how often players are on. Guild chat works across all servers, one guild at a time (whichever you’re representing). You can sorta try them all out without leaving Jade Quarry :]

switching to SoR is not necessary
Pansies because we’re not into WvW/PvP.
Voicelessly because we don’t use voice chat.
Exploring because… we do like to explore.
Our focuses are:
- dailies
- events
- Living Story
- hero stories
- map completion
- puzzle achievements
- crafting
No website or mandatory events. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s relaxed. We’re mature, very casual, anxiety-friendly and deaf-friendly. We welcome new and experienced players alike.
[PVE] has an Emblem, Workshop, Armorer & Weapons Contracts, and Guild Bank (Treasure Trove & Deep Cave) open to dedicated members. Guild Missions caught us off-guard by requiring the entire WvW line but we’re up to level 5 now and moseying along :]
