As the title says, what do you prefer or what are you looking foward to getting?

So after some troubleshooting I was able to get the game back up and going. I pretty much went to another forum and troubleshot the issue, but I still thank Squall Leonhart.2075 for their assistance. I Played for a few hours and eventually logged out and just let my computer be (no restarts or updates). Then tonight I went to log back in to play a quick Tixx with a friend and guess what BSOD’d again (if you guessed my computer you win a Princess doll). There seems to be some odd timing with this game being patched and a nasty slew of issues with peoples otherwise fine working PCs. The bugs are growing in number and people who purchased it just suffer over and over again with no real solutions. I’m still waiting for a reply on my support ticket, but I think I’ll just hang this one out to dry until they get some proper technical support to actually go through the slew of problems they are exhibiting. It seems patching up exploits they didn’t test for is always top priority I suppose.

Well I am on Windows XP Service Pack 3 and their requirements for the game are SP2 or better so I think I’ll wait this one out for now. While it’s not out of my price range I don’t feel I need to make a software upgrade on this rig for one game that feels like continuously crashing my computer. However I do appreciate the advice. I would rather they finally notice this consistent error in the forums and actually put some proper troubleshooting in order for it.

You are correct. Sorry I took so long to reply, I had to turn off the automatic startup to see the bsod error message.

So this morning I installed my new NVIDIA drivers with no issue.

However upon start up of the game I was presented with a lovely BSOD that restarted my computer. When I tried to open the client again I received this chunk of change.

Now I’ve had this happen once before and I uninstalled and reinstalled the game to get around it as, as well as changed out the ram in my computer, but I’m hitting a wall now and am not sure how to proceed. I’m open to pretty much any suggestions and I thank you for your time in regards to my issue.

I would like to know this as well, as my bank is cluttered with commendations thanks to the removal of this content with no prior warning.

I’m very disappointed when I logged in today and couldn’t use my commendations I had been saving up for keys and couldn’t log on before the patch. I understand they want to make money selling keys, but I would at least like to not have the commendations cluttering up my bank in 250 stacks until January.

No offense, but you guys are definitely missing something. I’ve finished this twice now, first for me and then for friends. You have to make sure everything is gone. Trees are in sneaky places and as another person said look behind the rocks.

The first time I got this was after defeating the tar elementals and everyone just avoiding going upstairs. The second time we waited till Toxx was down and just took out everything. It’s doable, but you need everyone helping out and paying attention to what is and isn’t down. Good luck, you can do it!

We just ran AC Exp Path 1 (with no skipping) and got 0 tokens at the end. I’m curious if anyone has had the same issue?

I really love this thread. I am close to hitting level 20 and I’m curious if there is anymore advice, builds or in general just opinions of others who have already met such levels.

I used to be able to turn breeder babies against them, but it seems this is no longer true, where have my babies gone?

I had the same issue starting yesterday afternoon after merely restarting the client because it was being so laggy. From that a series of crash messages upon startup followed and after reading them over I decided to change my ram, simple enough, however after that if I started the game it began to BSOD my computer any time I hit the PLAY button (no other game did this). So I uninstall and reinstalled the game (which was a fiasco within itself – it’d be nice if it didn’t freak out in Add/Remove programs or had an UNINSTALL option – anyway another hurdle down). Like normal it took forever to download and by the time it finished the login servers were down at that time. After the ‘fix’ from last nights left field maintenance everything worked fine again this morning, with no issue or complaints from the client opening.

I did run a memtest to make sure my current ram was fine and popped the old sticks in another computer and did the same to see if they were the same. No issue with either.

I barely see a difference at all. It just feels like an extra waste of time.

Canach is bugged on Crystal Desert, is he bugged on your server too?

I’ve noticed this happens most often when Might comes up. Which can pop up during several different circumstances depending on the character.

I honestly wish we had options for voice selection in general.

Laughing at his jokes is not Mad King Says unfortunately. Mad King Says is the game in the center where you emote to everything he says.

@Zyava When the game ends and he grows tired he disappears and instead a chest pops up and everyone is put into costume.

Silver is good enough for the chest, which I couldn’t see but could open. The event re-started after 45 mins on Gate of Madness. As other servers have had other restart durations, it’s probably random.

I’m happy a lot of people were able to get their hats this time around. Especially for people who missed it earlier.

I couldn’t get my [witch hat] (misspelled cause otherwise it thinks I’m trying to say a bad word LOL) because of the insane loading and lag. I swapped overflows but the chest still wouldn’t show up. I am just curious if the event will rerun and if so how often?

Just log or swap overflows.

From Wuss to Warrior. It was a silly trope in the 80’s and it’s still a silly trope today, the funny part is it’s not even me. However, let me put aside my lack of disinterest in Trahearne for a moment (though it is very hard) and talk about how I was hoping for more consequences from my actions. More consequences in general for losing so many to Zhaitan. I get an overwhelming feeling that everyone was more concerned with leaving their Vigil Mentor behind than they were with the endgame content. Regardless of if said mentor pops back up in the future (spoilers a mile away?) I think the game is lacking how to follow through on a story (perhaps rushed it even).

As we have been told a million times over like a broken record, once one is in Zhaitan’s grasp he knows all they know. Not only would I find it prudent for a certain Master of Whispers to be more on guard than ever. I find it completely pointless that I’m condemned to run about with the endless chatty Kathy wielding ‘salad bowl’ as a ridiculous amount of risen bore me to undeath as I begrudgingly continue on.

It’s so hard not to fuss about Trahearne. For those who love him, I’m sorry. I understand that he appeals to a certain demographic, but in the long run he’s not nearly as engaging, provocative, or just plain interesting. I’d rather have Gavin back at this point. The story tromps along like a nerdy episode of As the Caladbolg Turns, complete with cheap love stories that pander to the appeal of progressive thought but fall short of actually hitting the mark. I think that the writers did their best and were perhaps confined to a head writers vision of how they wanted this story to end. They did as they were told and it shows, by the Six it shows! After hours and hours of bang for our buck dialog being continuously droned on by voice actors I respect. I unfortunately found my mouse always hovering over the “skip to end” option instead of feeling inclined to actually listen.

This post will eventually get washed away into a sea of opinions rallied behind the Team Trahearne and Team Need More Story Please. However, I hope that for the voices that have spoken already a much needed fire was lit in the story department. So that when I buy the first expansion 6 months from now our cries, cares, concerns, complaints and compliments will be met with some sort of reward and not just a locked Black Lion Chest.
