Would love to see NSP and SBI matched up without some T2 server thrown in…

I liked the idea of siege being color coded to the commanders tag.

Yet more “bravery” from SoS who still seriously outnumbered us as we pushed through the outer gate of SM.

Apparently when you completely outnumber the enemy you hide in a keep behind cannons, a million arrow carts, and when that fails you bring out an Omega.

As I said earlier not impressed SoS. Not proving anything to me accept your ability to be kittens.

After we killed 3 more Omega’s without any siege and despite the gross numbers pushed you back to the keep. And can clearly be seen you built arrow carts to hide behind in the keep, outnumbering us 4 -1 and Omega’s to boot and you ran and hid in the keep and built siege from 15 people.

So let’s talk about the SoS guys who keep getting into the SBI Citadel area and setting up siege on the walls above North North. Exploit much? I mean seriously with a stupidly large lead you now have to cheat to drive the score up even more? Not impressed at all. No class, No honor, No sportsmanship. SoS can just go suck it.

What are you talking about here? I don’t know of anyone doing such a thing, but if it’s happening, you’ll have the full support of SoS in putting a stop to it. A screenshot would be ideal, but if you’ve got that you can likely go right to Anet.

Oh, and as to this Blank Jam thing, I actually feel kind of bad about it…but we have no choice but to be cruel in order to maintain our rating and avoid permanently falling into T3. If we went even with SBI and NSP, we’d lose an immense amount of points…we have to tick at like 450+ on average just to break even.

OMg just finished defending our keep in EB, 4 hours of y’all constantly attacking 50+ Omegas and we killed at least 35 of those. Plus you had us outnumbered 4 -1 I don’t know how you can even cut it as a higher tier server when we can spank you this bad. As to your needing to tick points I find it interesting that NSP has all it’s stuff and that you seem to be obsessed with just attacking SBI.

Have 20+ ppl hiding and sieging and tell me what else do you expect the other side do? SBI SEA only map hops and try to cap wherever there is no defence. At least we go right at you, and at the keep with the most defence.

And that explains the spawn camping afterward? And then YOU hiding in the keep from 20 guys, just a few screen shots showing what a laugh you are.

My whole havoc of 20 people took screen shots and sent them off to Anet.

Kind of like actually defending and building siege in the Needles, nice little choke point and you can pretty much destroy zerg after zerg of up levels with just a single superior ac.

You getting awfully defensive of this guy. It’s not like it was you. He didn’t alt+f4 nor did he swap maps or else I wouldn’t have ran into him coming out of spawn so soon. His smart kitten reply is precisely what the kind of punk kid running a hack would say. I have no evidence that it was a hack? You have no evidence it wasn’t. So unless someone can explain to me how they pulled it off, I’ll call them out for using one.

Burden of Proof lies with the person making the claim, not those disbelieving the claim.

For example, if I claim to have seen Bigfoot and want to be taken seriously, it would be up to me to provide verifiable evidence, not the people sceptical of my claim.

I am not saying the person wasn’t using a hack; I’m saying that your suggestion that your allegation is credible because it can’t be disproven is fallacious.

Clearly you have never been in Family Court, preponderance of evidence is what decides there the burden of proof is on the respondent, not the petitioner in those court rooms.

Given the evidence there have been three plausible reasons he was able to get away. However, if that is the fact then the person has no honor, skill, class, character, or sense of sportsmanship. So regardless of a hack or not they are still pretty much a coward and a cheater.

SBI is probably going to lose this week, but at this point we are getting so used to fighting open field when outnumbered, that I pity the poor fellows that show up down the line with equal numbers.

So let me get this right the complaint is that you can’t just stick 40000 AC’s on a wall and sit there raining death on the people trying to get in because GASP they countered your AC’s with Golems which from what I can tell is pretty much what they are designed to do. Otherwise what is stopping you from just building 40000 AC’s on anything and just sitting inside yawning as you murder anyone who comes near the place.

For those suggesting HoD and SB work together, I don’t think you realize just how lopsided this matchup is. Even if we could somehow coordinate, and get everyone from both servers on the same page (which there is no mechanism to do that) Yaks still out numbers HoD and SB combined 2:1

I realize how lopsided it is, I’m in it (we may even be on the same server). The total population is vastly skewed yes.

Part of the reason is that people don’t like to play in such a imbalanced match. And so people don’t bother logging in. And it gets worse as the week goes along.

Part of the reason is that HoD and SBI spread their already small forces between EB and Home BL further increasing the difference. (Not to mention attacking each other).

But if both HoD and SBI were to attack YB in their own BL (or EB) then the numbers will be more even. They have to be. Even if YB can get twice as many people as HoD or SBI in their Home BL it will be even.

And if they’d both have an old fashioned style Attack on Dreadfall Bay it would be the most fun you can have in this match. In any match actually. I’d take that over any match except one that is so even the score goes back and forth all week (which is so rare as to be able to be counted on one hand the number of times its happened since launch for the server).

But you’re right, it’ll never happen because we can’t coordinate or get both servers on the same page. Too bad, WvW could be fun.

You clearly have no idea what your talking about. SBI isn’t spreading out, we simply don’t have the numbers. When we are running around the map outnumbered with 10-15 people and YB is flipping 2 towers and 2 camps on the same map what the hell do you expect us to do? We do what we can and try to hold or take back stuff. But every time we show up all YB does is sit in the keep or tower and build arrow carts, despite the fact that they have a 50 man zerg running around that hasn’t got the nuggets to face off a 15 man zerg.

I do know what I’m talking about I’ve seen it because I am on SBI too.

Surely you’ve seen matches where we are able to keep numbers in the game? So the players exist.

The reason you end up with 10 -15 people on a map is because people feel like there is no point in coming out to play this week because its a bad match. And the reason its a bad match is because YB can outnumber us on every map.

Perhaps spreading out wasn’t the right terminology. My point was in a match like this it is hopeless to try to fight YB on their terms. Trying to play the defend Home BL and our third of EB in a match like this is just an exercise in futility. And it ends up being frustrating and demoralizing and people don’t come out to play.

But if both us an HoD were to treat it like an event. We’ve had events before to try to have fun – such as trying to take and waypoint a particular keep. And if we were to do that against YB BL Bay as an example (which I think I noticed was taken at some point) then we would be able to get people involved in something other than feeling overwhelmed by their numbers.

Because on their BL we can outnumber them. The map cap is only around 100. Even if each of us, SBI and HoD, could only muster half as many people as YB – that would still make it an even match.

All I got to say is put your money where your mouth is, tag up and command if you got all the answers.

First post doesn’t make me a troll buddy it just means I after many years of gaming have learned to avoid forums for the most part. However, I needed to vent after this last weeks match up with my server facing Fort Aspen and being completely out done by nothing more then numbers. 20 Alpha Golems in a single zerg seriously???

I am glad to see my post generated some positive discussion though.

Please tell me what is the point of matching a server against another server that outnumbers them by a dozen to one? Just to see one side totally run up the score? Oh I know it’s so that any new players who enter WvW are just cannon fodder for whatever server is on top.
