Thanks BobbyStein. This is one of the best things about this game; a more direct feel to whats going on. I have faith more than any other game Ive played that things like this will get improved in the comping weeks.

The Guardian is a BEAST up close and personal. There’s an option for range attacks, be happy! I play mostly PvE (so I can’t speak for pvp or wvw), but by god. I don’t want to make this class god mode of GW2.

This sort of blind-a ss response doesn’t help anything. No one wants god-mode. We want to viable ranged. We do not have that currently.

That’s because the guardian isn’t a tank, nor is any other class in the game. Greatsword would be a terrible weapon to tank with anyways.

Anyone that specs defense and gears vit/toughness can be a tank. I dont get how you can say that.

Anyway, they need to set it to 100 health per hit at 80 and let plushealing give a 15% synergy. I believe that with a normal mod doing roughly 1.5 to 2.5k damage per hit this would be a balanced number worthy of a grandmaster trait that would be our main source of survivability. Kick morekitten – live longer. The base is set high enough to allow 0 healing to still be viable, and 15% synergy to allow a boost for certain cituations where you choose to trade off damage to live longer, without it being easy to abuse.

Not only is this difficult in PvP, this is very troublesome in PvE. Melee is punished a great deal more than ranged in a number of ways.

Rolling another class doesnt fix this problem.

First off I want to say I generally enjoy the amount of speech in the game. I much rather listen than read. It has enhanced my gaming experience. However certain things are starting to grate on my sanity..

  • shut up Shut Up SHUT UP
    Often when I’m crafting away for 20min to an hour, no matter where I am, their are always certain dialog audio on some sort of random loop. If I hear some trainer chick tell some trainee to ’train in the ring, or not at all" one more time, I might have to kill every NPC in Claypool. I dont want to turn dialog off. I just want it to stop happening so often. It literally loops every 2~min. Extent it to 15~ or lower the radius or something anything!
  • THIS ROSE HAS THORNS, AND HERE THEY ARE!!!111
    Silence, you salad sloot. Although my char is a human female guardian, the amount of time Ive heard her scream PAIN FOR PAIN or RETREAT or SAVE YOURSELVES makes me want to smack her with a trout <><. I like hearing her, but the same phrase over and over is… horrible. Especially considering how much dialog this game has in it, youd think these short phrase would have a few variations per skill that has a voiced audio attached. It would be awesome to get a few different versions. Think of the trout.

  • Allow a keybind for looting it is beyond annoying, even with the new priority system, to try looting 5+ foes after or during a wave and get akittenNPC asking me “whats up!”
  • Badges need to be currency and automatically assigned by damage done to a foe. 50% damage = 50% badge allotment to a min of 10% or something. (Thats not impossible at all to do, this is a game, its made of code, something like this is not part of the core)
  • Lessen the number of abilities that force a player to be ‘stuck’ in one place. Often these abilities make it incredibly frustrating in normal PvE and mostly PvP. At least reduce the root effects timeframe. Symbol of Wrath is one of them. I understand it needs to root somewhat, but I think the duration is just too long before I can move again. Its fine 90% of the time, but the last 10% is highly annoying and Im at a huge disadvantage in PvP sitting getting hit unable to dodge or anything else. Im fully vulnerable and punish just because I wanted to use a skill.
  • The TP needs major work on fluidity and ease of use. Much of how it works right now is round-about and a chore. The fact that it works at all is blinding many to its many faults, as they are glad they can even use it.
  • STOP TP DEFAULTING ON SELL TO LOWEST BUYER. SET IT SO IT ISNT SELECTING ANYTHINGkitten/strong>

Yes, It is 100x better than some MMOs ive played, but Im not sure why they didnt just make it even easier. The NPC talking issue is insanely annoying for me

I understand that you guys awesomely put a priority system on interaction now, and thats great.. However, in many events many foes die, and I find myself pressing interact to loot several times. More times than not I press one times too many and get some NPC trying to chat me up. This gets in the way of the battle and forces me to press esc or something to get rid of it.

It is generally annoying and makes it a bit harder to play..

Anyway we could give looting its own keybind? Or perhaps an option to make looting automatic if you have room in your bags?
