Jump puzzles are not required part of wvw. If it annoys you then dont do them.
Funny part is Eve is guild wars and guild wars 2 isnt.
Cant compare Eve to any other MMO. Eve is chess everything else is checkers at best. A few things they could do would be give hp buff to outmanned buff and give buff to any defensive structure on your home map if your outnumbered. I dont agree with this personally but its one possibility. If your outmanned attacking someone elses map no hp buff because thats just asking for trouble.
BP has NEVER said we expected to breeze thru this tier. We expected a challenge, and have so far received one. Both servers fight much better than Anvil Rock and it’s alliance of wall walkers.

Bots and speed hacks are outside programs not part of the game if your going to start an argument at least put it in the proper context. Whats being done is with thing built into the core of the game against the wishes of many from the beginning. It doesnt take a magic wand just common sense. Wow name calling so grown up. All I was stating was that anet needs to take some responsibility for the state of their game. People will use what is there to use. There is only 1 group that can fix it. To say well we just wont use whats there and trust that no one else will use it is naive.
People complained about mesmer portals since beta and nothing has changed with tons of forum post many of which have been deleted or merged. So putting in another bug report seems to be a bit pointless.
Ok lets look at this logically. Anet built all the terrian in the game. they designed mesmer portals despite many people in the community saying its ripe for exploit or uses not intended in game. People in the game use whats in the game to the best of their abilities and get called cheaters. If you made an awesome build for your character no but you will get called cheater but all you did was think of a skill combo that the game designers didn’t intend in development. Alot of times these builds are nerfed which in the case of whats going on if Anet doesnt like whats going then they should fix their game. Dont blame people for using the all the tools they have. Blame the designer for not planning for the obvious.

Hey ktith I thought you moved servers. So why would you keep coming back here and to the T 8 server match up putting your input in. If you cared you would have stayed instead of server hopping trying to find people that dont hate you.
Part of the problem is they allow you to sit on the character screen all day. I tested it today was gone for 4 hrs and came back home and still on character screen.
If people are using hacks then report them and they will one day get banned when anet gets around to it. There alot of people out there using blanket statements when they should just be focusing on the poeple that are doing it. You still got a bug up your kitten over spending 12 whole gold upgrading a keep and the alliance wanted to use buffs to help defend it. My big question to that is if your a commander in a wvw guild why dont you have your own buffs to protect your own keep that your put 12 gold into. Oh yeah the truth lets not worry about that.
Xandria if you hate Anvil Rock so bad why are you even on that server? You seem to spend alot of your time on the forum complaining about Anvil Rock and the people on it. I am not sure if some anvil rock person kicked your puppy or said bad things about your but I just dont get why you would stick around if your so miserable and dont turn this into a pity party of anvil rock wanting you to leave because honestly I dont really care if your here or not but I am just tired of hearing and hearing about you kittening all the time. Its a game and you should enjoy yourself or at least be miserable somewhere else.
This wasnt done with hacks. I was there. I was done with skill and tactics. Which to the unwashed masses looks like magic. There are hacks out there but not everything is hacks and to accuse everyone of hacks is just stupid. If you saw hacking going on report it otherwise shut the kitten up. When i am finally kicked for inactivity i am kicked to character screen which I have stayed on for hours. This is probably why people cant log in because it showing full.
I have logged out forgotten to leave screen come back hours later and still there.
I was wondering if people that are just sitting on the log in screen are why no one else can log in. Can they put in a timer that logs you out after like 15 minutes or so. I think this is why people are having such a tough time getting into the server they want.

Hoping for a change here might be a bit too much, but seriously – W3 is not a ‘never-ending battle’ now, it’s about who has more people across more timezones and can PvDoor. In our current matchup, as the red side, we can get the highest pointgain during evenings or at least get to solid second, despite not owning EB or steamrolling everywhere and being outmanned in 2-3 maps; but then the last veterans log off at 2~3am only to see everything lost at 8~9am. Literally everything – same with the other server, too, with one dominating in the mornings due to more people in more timezones.
So your plan is to screw over anyone thats not in the same time zone as you? MMOs are played on the World Wide Web not the guys in your neighborhood. If you change it then other people that play from around the world or happen to like playing at night have to give up playing because if you can only cap at certain parts of the day then why bother going in. Aion has set times on fort fights you might want to give them a try. Try recruiting a night crew but stop telling other people that they cant play your game. Or maybe you can put up millions of dollars and make your own MMO where people get to play by your rules and see if you get your money back.
The events in Cursed Shore are way too buggy and broken. You put out new content without polishing what you already had. Was trying to do events in Orr and after 3rd event it just stopped. With half a dozen people just sitting there going oh well its a crap shoot anyway. How can you take pride in what you do and say this is a AAA game.
I wouldnt remove it I would just make ascended like spvp. You go there its on, you leave its not.
Maybe we can get them to walk down the hall and borrow a few lines of code.
There are a few things from Eve Online that would help with organization with WvW.
Add alliances to help guilds manage their people.
Give guilds the ability to tax since upgrades can cost a fortune.
Add alliance channel and give people the ability to create channels for intel and give the ability to put password on channels to add security.
We are getting close to a week now on Anvil Rock and Cursed Shore is still broken. Would it be too much trouble while your planning the next round of vertical gear that you said you weren’t doing but now are doing and your said you were all along could you make the original content that we asked and paid for to work. If not could you least shut off the lights on your way out.
On Anvil Rock Orr has been bugged for least 4 days now you cant even do Arah. The event setting up Pentitent camp is stuck and they wont reset to fix it.
Would it be too much to ask to have someone reset cursed shore on Anvil Rock so we can use it. Its been over 3 days now with bug reports sent. I know your busy making ascended gear but until you just close off the rest of the map let us use it. Considering this is what you advertised as end game for the last 5 years.
Other then for sake of story having more then 1 city is a complete waste of resources. Like having vendors that sell white gear on every corner. I would love to have the labor hours they spent on making the other cities put into making things less buggy.

On ANV Orr the event chain has been bugged for days so you can do half the events.
Pentitent has been bugged for 3 days now. Would be nice to be able to just click the POI or wp to report bugs.
Because if you want map completion you need to complete ALL the maps.
The best solution for ascended gear is to make them like spvp you log into dungeon your wearing your ascended gear.
Just wait til the guys doing dungeons come back with better gear then you and kick your teeth in. You will wish then hadnt come back.

Shiny armour with 8% bonus means squat in a game mode based on siege and tactics.

If we talk about WvW the only thing that matters is teamwork and how you can fit there.

But we’re talking about actual gameplay, and you cannot tell us that better gear doesn’t matter in actual battle. Even if your team of 20 would beat enemy team of 20, if you had better gear you would win faster, and more efficiently, and thus be able to do more across the map and score more points.
I cannot possibly imagine that a good skilled player would talk nonsense such as “level and gear doesn’t matter, we could be lvl30 and naked and if we had teamwork it would not matter”. That’s newbie talk. Every advantage means a lot to competitive players. That’s why you see many using food. Because it matters. And why orbs were such a problem. Because stats mattered.
You do realize that there are people in WvW that are 1: under lvl 80, nothing having all traits, using MP or rare instead of exotic….
PS. WvW isn’t competitive. You may think it is, and more power to you if you do, but the mechanics and system just isn’t…
It’s a casual game of capture the keep.
Not competitive? People spend many hours a day in wvw. You need to know what your talking about before you say something completely stupid.
If they do it like invader gear it will cost 1000 badges a piece or more.

Went to Cursed Shored after patch to do events. Did Phinx event then stood there for half an hour for it to come up again. Did it again then waited bout another half an hour for it to come back up. So during all the hype leading up to launch they talked to death how great and entertaining dynamic events would be and now I have to wait 30 minutes walk around the zone since half the waypoints are usually contested to try and find something to do.

I love hitting the lake and killing the gold farmers. Its free badges and you get a sense of enjoyment of it.
Most major changes in MMOs are come from balancing PvP. Why would this game be any different. Any game with PvP are pvp games.
How are there only 5 skills? Did you even get past level 10? I play an engineer tons of kits with tons of skills. When i play my guardian there is a weapon swap button maybe you should look for it. Star Wars makes you have 30 buttons maybe thats a good game for you. I hear you can get that really cheap these days.
