Them rangers have killed me more times than any boss ever has in that dungeon.

My guard puts up his shield wall, they just cast over it with there AoE.

I have done it 3 or 4 times, not cleared it just once. Very first time couple in the group got upset and left.

Dungeons here have to do with patience, expect to die.

Since its possible to group x-server. Is it necessary to pick your server? It would open up the number of people wanting to group if your not tied to your server.

Facts to why the TP is a piece of crap atm:

1 – Everyone clogs it with every piece of kitten they pick up even if that means losing money (which means it’s being used to fulfill a different purposed than the original or at least goes against your “economic” standards)

2 – That causes TP lag cause the database access gets heavier loads.

3 – People undercut on almost every item in the TP , valuable or not. And they undercut to levels that it isn’t worth selling it there anymore (unless you don’t have problems farming like a madman so you can afford to cheapen out your items and still make good profits).

$ – Of course some high end items escape this situation cause they´re end game items and people watch them as permanent instead of temporary and also because they dont ’t have the same supply.

What I want most of all is that they stop people from lagging the TP.

Yea, its a mess in big battles locating that called target.

Some kind of arrow at your feet pointing in the general direction would help.

No need to prove anything. It is what it is.

People want to go play something else go play.

I still play wow and lotro, for my own reasons. It’s ok to play other games.

UI customizing would be a great feature to have without the use of add-ons.

I doubt I will use add-ons if they decide to support them here. I have had about enough of them from several other games in the past.

I don’t think this hurts the game at all. If and individual wants to be part of several guilds I think its great they have to opportunity to do so.

I can see how frustrating it can be for guild leaders seeing some people represent full time and others part time or less and get the same rewards.

About every guild has guide lines that they require there members to follow. Some will just have a new requirement to be in that guild.

Setting ranks may be an option for some also.

The challenge is fun, but I am with others. When your leaving a dungeon with less than what you went in with that sucks.

I am all for giving it some time, getting things figured out. I still have a lot to learn with group play here. I to am stuck in the last 10 years of the MMO gaming and need to get outta that mode.

I used to be able to make a good amount of money in the trading post selling materials and items. But the prices for everything seem to drop excessively low quickly. For instance Orichalcum. It was at 10s about 2 days ago and now it is roughly 5s now. Now this is good for buyers but not the suppliers. I find it frustrating to spend my time running around farming then seeing that it was hardly worth the effort because some guy who hates money decided he was going to sell a stack of 250 orichalcum for an insanely low price and screw me out of my money.

So down to the question, Do you think it would be a good idea to reset the trading post every week to hopefully higher TP prices?

Nobody screwed you out of anything. They beat your price of 10s and are happy making there 5s

So that theory was shot. I just came from a single page thread that a dev had posted in and only thing showing was permalink icon there also.

Buying cheap armor and weapons on the TP. Selling all the crafting goods and drops I have no use for at 20% above vendor value or the sell it now option which ever is higher.

I am making a ton of gold. Then dump it all back onto cooking:)

They have clarified that you can trade p2p using the mail system. If the deal is not as planned you can turn them in for scamming.

Seems like a hassle for Anet getting involved like that though.

It’s a non issue if someone else gets below vendor price.

It’s a bug that people are able to list a buy order for less than an items worth. You can’t list a item for less than what it’s vendor worth is so all them buy orders are pointless.

The trading post is failing because people using it a dimwits. Seriously people need to stop listing stuff for one copper more than vendor price if the listing price is two bloody copper. Seriously it only takes basic math to realize you’re loosing money. The player base is making a whole swath of items useless to do anything with but vendor after you make them which is a loss of money.

Yes they are only hurting themselves.

You still have the choice to sell to a vendor for profit. Which I might add is more than what your competition is getting.

The NPC vendors won’t let anyone undercut you.

Seems like a pretty good fix.

TP takes a 15% cut. If you don’t like being undercut set your prices accordingly. If your still getting undercut sell it to the vendor you will be better off.

This is something I hate in other games, and I would always go for the guy who has a nice rounded figure of 10s, instead of the guy selling for 9.99s.
Here though you are forced to buy the cheapest no matter what, so that isn’t an option.
I try and price myself down by 50c or 1s stages to get a quicker sale, but the trading post move so fast you then find some guy has dumped 5 on ahead of you for 1c less.
So I would like either the listing fee to be refunded on a removed sale, buyer to be able to pick which stack he buys from, or a minimal undercut range.

Your not forced to buy the cheapest. You can select the next box up in price.

Buy everything that is undercutting you. Then re-list it.

We don’t need another chat channel. I have all mine turned off except for /s and /g. It’s just another channel that I would have to turn off.

A simple LFG tool that adds me in a group for x dungeon cross-server will be excellent.

I have had both good and bad experiences with groups that where made up from a LFG tool.

I am not a fan of standing in one zone spamming a chat channel.

I would like to see a good LFG tool at some point.

Great idea for a guild! I’m curious how this is going in terms of the number of players. I’d like to be apart of an active mature guild, well not to mature but **** what can I say.

Currently there are 7 of us. Have a few waiting to confirm there invite. We will be as active as our real life will allow us it seems.

Recruiting has all been done on the forums as far as I know. We may extend that out to spamming some in game /m chat here and there to increase some numbers.
