Nevertheless Baruch is in my opinion a very good server. It’s really fun to fight against them. I personally had never so much fun like this week before. No blob on Baruch /Deso side and there are actually really organized guilds like Scnd, BuLL, sIN, DsD, RED and many more! Rarely saw those guilds running with many pugs or at least in a blob.
I appreciate that really much.
One thing which is annoying. Baruch has weird play times :P
sIN ends their raids to early and BuLL starts too late.

Will it be possible to use skills in ascalonian tranformation again in the future?
I know the changes are bound to the changes that you can’t use skills in Elixir S and Mist Form anymore but I feel like missing something since the patch. :/
It’s just a fun item which provides no advantage. I know it’s not in the TOP10 To-Do from the Devs but I hope to get an answer. ^^
And how about other colors? Just bring back the fun into WvW :P

I don’t like the fact that the new ranking system is partially based on random numbers. Tbh I didn’t understand the whole new ranking but I wish Anet would create a situation where people focus more on the weekly matchup points than on the ranking points. :/
With the new ranking system the mos.millenium site gets kinda useless because they don’t know the random number.
Maybe anyone can correct myself and explain it for dummies with EU servers? :P

I just can repeat what has been already said above. Of course there are guilds who attract attention in prime time due guild only raids like AI/UvL, Aegis, GL etc but the biggest contribution to our success comes mainly from our off time team. Since our first match in t1 (week 41) we apparently improved our off time team a lot. We got better in borderland hopping and ER focussed very much on points.
Kudos to my own server that we cancelled the karma train on Friday because of the reason: “We are in T1. We want Rank 1 EU! There is no space for karma train”.
And I don’t know that was a hazard or not. But yesterday our leader said “click through our raid. there are just 2 people who are not lvl 80”. Don’t know the mentality changed from ER changed at all but I like this change as well.
I have never expected that and it’s a good step forward.
So how do Elona feel about being up against 2 French servers?
2 servers with twink zergs of 70+ per map: our AC-production is on a yearly high and every WvWler on Elona will have a lot of MF gear/food/… for the next week.
Who knows. But both have an open bill with us, and both are quite often not able to coordinate themselves, so it will not make any difference if they ally or not.
Our main goal for next week: every Elona-WvWler will get rich during the next week.
Placement is secondary, as it will be the last match of the current match-making system. We showed Vizu 2 weeks in a row in a fair 1vs1 “who plays how”, and we did the same with jade for quite a while longer. And the nice thing on having both Jade & Vizu together: both together have 0 chance to turn that result for next week, if Elona will be place 3 end of next week, it will only be due to their double focus
We know Vizunah have been in T1 since the first day of the weekly WvW reset.
You had to fight against many problems like NA guilds (RUIN, PRX etc…) and super wvw guild servers (Blacktide, SFR etc…). You got hit hard but you showed that you always can stand up. And now you are struggling again.
Im sure you will overcome the problem. But please….

How about a ZvZ? Zerg vs Zerg with same numbers (maybe a 60 vs 60 ?). So we can find out which pug zerg is the best on open field. There is enough space in the north of bay.

I am really happy to see SFR improve during the week and getting some of their core guilds back. It would have been a shame if the people from a whole server would have been punished for the misstakes the dev s made.

We hoped for more entertaining fights on EB and at the beginning it was pretty laggy but this night turned out to a very amazing one! Much respect to the pug zerg of Desolation this night. You always showed the will to fight and you were really organised compared to other pug zergs.

It seems we inadvertently outed (some of) our plans for WvW with the above linked page. While we are looking to extend World XP changes for WvW in a later content patch, it still needs some tweaking and therefore isn’t ready to be introduced in this one.
We can however officially let you know we are moving the jumping puzzle for EB into it’s own map, as this has been a much requested feature for our beloved siege fairing community.

We are coomplaining about too big zergs and hoped for more GUILD wars than SIEGE wars. There is a massive amount of people who wished bigger maps which actually make the zerging less attractive due lack of flexibility.
There are also many people wishing the orbs back for MONTHS!

Things will change. Same story with Karma at the beginning of GW2. Just Karma Train until we recognize how useless it is in the end.
At the moment people just want to farm WXP and it will end until the majority see how mediocre it is for the WvW.
Of course it leads to more zerging but it also motivate people to cap supply camps.
We jsut fall back to the beginning of gw2 :P

Anet shouldn’t allow people to join this server. :/ they are already superior in T1[EU].
Don’t missunderstand me. It’s great for many servers who are struggling because they lack population compared with other servers but Anet should also keep an eye over the ranking. There are many servers who have a big percentage of non-WvW players and a huge PvE player base. Maybe Anet should make it conditional on the WvW-Population and not on the over all population. I’m sure they have the statistics and the numbers ;D

Imo they should entirely remove the ornage swords. The removal force servers to scout and improve the teamplay.
“You don’t want to scout for your server? Then we will lose the tower/keep.”
Of course it is easy for an entire zerg to roam unnoticed. But it is much easier to scout for like 30 minutes.

I don’t think Vizunah has a much better coverage than other servers. I think their secret is that they start a karma train through all WVW maps and all pugs and Pve people join it. We on Elona could easily mess with Vizunah but due the fact that we lose like 50% of the pugs if it gets difficult we are always outnumbered at night.
In my opinion Vizunah is full of zombies. They never sleep and aer superior. but it’s get boring. Don’t blame them for playing wvw like it’s supposed to be.

Vizunah is smart as kitten. If you go for SM they immedietely leave SM and attack Anza or Mendons. Deso is a very good server, but you sometimes lack of smartness in Eternal Battlegrounds.

i jsut don’t get it….has the Deso team on Etnernal Battlegrounds ever attacked Klovan? The only thing they do is attacking SM and Ogrewatch. That’s it. I just don’t get why you don’t focus Vizunah. Vizunah is doin’ more and more points and we lose ranks with every day…
Deso is distracting us and we ahve to attack bravost/Durios. Im so tired of this.
You shouldn’t beat the enemy of your enemy! if you attack us you won’t lose less ranks. You ahve to attack Vizunah -________- all in all it’s pvp and you can do what you want.
btw I had a blast today on eternal battlegrounds! blocked Vizunah Waypoint for like 2 hours and even team up with a very nice deso party

there is no point in blaming Vizunah. They are the best server. That’s it. It’s complettely dumb to blame server who nightcap like Vizunah.
1st thing: Vizunah do even in primetime mostly the most points
2nd thing: Is there any other server which would just stop capping when they see the enemies went off sleeping?
If SFR drop to t2 they will night cap as well.
If ER drop to t2 they will do the same.
just be quiet and don’t start flaming. Vizunah has mostly french people(2% switzerland,beglium, whatever ?) No night capping from NA guilds.
Don’t forget which server here had a guild from NA…
btw it’s kinda weird situation. SFR stopped capping and “help” us to cap towers, keeps etc… it will become close. it’s more like a fight for t2 than a fight for a higher rank lol….

Seems like Vizunah has many loyal players and the guilds and mainzergs has a very good communication. Everytime we kill WL or the mainzerg they gather up and steamrollin’ on eternal.
That is what our Server really need to learn. Communicate perfectly with each other. Unfortunately there are sometimes guilds who think very selfish and the main zerg just accept it instead solving the problem.

So refreshing and enjoying to see organized guilds in enemy server. It is really fun to play in T1 against. Finally we face server with equal numbers.
Spent most of the time on Eternal Battlegrounds. Noticed VcY, NR (new guild from where?) on SFR and MN (from Arborstone right?).
Had a blast while defending Klovan which was full of holes :P

That if a unskilled server would do if they cant win 1vs1 against another server even tough the server has queue? It would gather the whole wvw for a 500 men zerg and this would be ridiculous. btw you wouldn’t even take notice because of the culling you just see like 50 ^^
