My guild has been noticing that the npcs in many of the dungeons that are supposed to help you end up help wiping the group, just tonight in Citedal of Flame the npc ends up aggroing the whole room or dying in lava or something. I’d suggest that the npcs not be able to do anything but follow people around and help progress the story or whatever or like Lord of the Rings Online, have 3 options to tell the npc what to do: 1. don’t attack even if they are attacked mode, 2. attack mode, 3. passive support/rez mode.
Ok, i’d like to put a challenge to the creaters of the caudecus manor dungeon, if they put out a video of lvl 45 in on level gear beating any of the paths successfully, i’ll take back every word i’ve said.
Good strategies, but could Anet really design a dungeon where you don’t need to do that? I’m not saying make it easy but give a little more options or strategies on different ways to beat it. Mobs that slow you down on top of knocking you down and +12 stacks of beed? Come on! I’m a huge Anet supporter, but some of these dungeons are even testing my patience. I can’t see how ANY level 45s could beat this when well geared lvl 80s have a hard time.
My guild and I finished the catacombs and were wandering around looking at all the little nooks and crannies, and we were wondering if 1. is there a jumping puzzle in ascalonian catacombs, 2. why are there a hidden herd of turkeys inside? o.O
So, after 4 hours of trying this insanely hard jumping puzzle, I finally got into the tower, and promptly died as soon as it finished loading, got my achievment, but no slippers. Is this supposed to happen? >.>
