Its completed not bad that i got it done in the first wintersday. Yesterday the rng was with me. Finally a item that gave me some nice amount gold. After so much efford and time spend ingame. I needed it. So i bought 8500 drinks. Thnx anet it gave me motivation to play further

hi, this is my very first gw2 wintersday
and i saw the shoulder skin. and when i saw it i thought nice i want this. so i work very hard for it but i have a few questions.

i need 4 achievements and i must know if i have to complete them while wintersday is up
or if i can complete them after wintersday.

the ones i need are
essence of mischief, essence of snowfall, magnanimous obsidian crystal and
masterful toast.

i see that masterful toast needs wintersday but a guildy told me that someone that she knows completed it this year in april.

so i want to be sure if i must complete it now or if i can safe money for others. becouse i am not rich i cant buy the drinks and all others and complete it.

i jump with spacebar and further i hold the left mouse button the whole time. with that i can do free look and if i press right mouse button also then i move. i dont use the w key at all.

if i read all these comments its better anet give us the achievement rewards and then remove the whole achievement.

this is my very first gw2 winters event and i enjoy it very much. some things are difficult and some things are impossible. i thought nice lets go for achievements.

THEN i saw the reward, shoulder skin. i thought omg i want it so i go check wiki and then i saw the prices of the mats. i count some and its nearly 1000 gold to get it by buying all the mats. the drinks are 600+ gold.

this is not normal. this skin is so very awesome but that price is not normal. and becouse its my first winter event i didnt know i had to save money for it. if i can reach it with gem cards i maybe spend some irl money for it. but if i want to convert gems to gold i must spend 100 euro for 8k gems for the skin.

i am not rich so thats a fail. if there was no drinks achie needed maybe i can reach it but for now its a no. and with the rng i have at this moment i am sure i dont go make money with drops.

indeed rng ?. opened a black lion chest and got an item with something out of wadrobe. chance for weapon skin. outfit. glider. or something else and i got a bronze sword skin. i thought ? ? rng. finally a chest key then the rare item and then a trash drop. i am happy there is a battlefield 1 update so i can play that further.
this bronze sword is just a sickness out of a package pure rage item.
and why? noone knows. there are lucky ppl in gw2 but its not me. but i dont gonna farm 24/7 to make gold for an item i have work irl and thats enough. gaming is to relax and not a second job but virtual. some ppl do. yes they have nice legendarys but not for me. i want the jack….. mini thing but 400 gold.

last halloween i saw an ascendent can drop from the bags worth 179 gold but ofc i dont get it.

wintersday gift can drop a ascendent recipe, ofc i dont get. ** it. every mmo is the same. with rng farm farm farm.

further the game is nice. graphics and sound but sometimes i want more for my work and not only the looks. its that i have a very nice guild with friendly and helpfull ppl. so i stay. sometimes guildmissions with discord. the new zone is nice i farmed 1 day with 6 chars for berrys (also with bad elementalist, what a fail weak class. yes i have good dps but its useless when killed by 5+ mobs and cant heal that much. and water is too weak)
and farmed 1 day more with 1 char for the chicken pet. and thats it for me the zone is completed.

i said it in guild and someones friend got gliders and outfits :S this was an angry day. it sucks, you see ppl in game with everything and i dont even get something special to drop.
last exotic i got was tarir run but everything is farming. nothing more. its that i have a nice guild otherwise i think i didnt play anymore. and btw nice reactions here, normally when i make a rage post ppl only unfriendly to others in gaming world.
i only want a reward for the time and efford i spend ingame and it must be something worth gold.

hi, today i played and its not much motivated to play. first of all the game looks nice, sound is nice but something frustrates me much. today i did 1 zone completion then i got a black lion chest key. then i got a guaranteed wardrobe unlock. so i thought o finally a reward, a outfit or a glider but i got a kitteng bronze sword skin… WHY? i got instand mad.
why i am always that unlucky? the item self is rare i think and i get rewared with trash.
first of all it cost a few hours to complete a map then i must be lucky for a key and then i get this and i thought nice i get rewarded but i get trash. why in the world do games only make ppl angry with trash loot? cmon let casual players also have fun. every mmo is the same you must work and farm all day long to get rewarded. there are ppl that have work irl and want to have fun and relax within games and dont work again for it. yes a bit is oke but not farming that much. later i thought oke i go try again a map completion. i choose a map i had 50% done so it took me few hours to complete but then NO key. oke next zone also few hours and again no key. this is not much motivated to play a game. i do hard work ingame but sometimes i want to get rewarded without doing that much. we normal ppl have to work all day and get tired. game companies make a game and then wait for ppl to buy gems or pay subs. easy money and without much energy becouse you have a team to share the work.
i hope you understand me. and eh i have read how to create a topic but i am happy i can english and i cant make one as you want.

i played long ago but in 2012 i left and few times later i tried to like the game becouse nice graphics but i didnt like becouse the money, its always money. but this year i tried again and i liked the game. i bought hot becouse i needed bank tabs but had no money and with gems i had a start in right direction and i started playing more. the xpack was 100 euro. nice for some times but now i want more. i saw mini jack a lop and i want it. but that price 400 gold. when i saw it it was 199 gold or something but it got much more and i still cant buy it. also permanent hair style kit i want. but if i dont get black lion chest keys i have no chance. i dont care legendarys becouse too much work for me.

i hope you understand me and change my ingame rng that i get rewarded better. if i like the game more i maybe go buy gems but if i must farm all day i get mad. i am sure you dont care but i want to say my opinion. i dont understand why other ppl always that lucky. i think only ppl that farm all day and are rich have also better loot. i had a guildy he played 4 years and looted his first precursor. wtf its a game make ppl happy becouse irl they have not that much. and ingame we have a chance to have something to be happy with. you have a nice game and get money from gem cards so share the fun with everyone.

i quit world of warcraft more then a year ago becouse bad rng and that game cost money so thats why i stopped. this game is better at everything. but for map completion players must get rewarded. i free day spend on 3 map completions and 1 key and 1 trash reward. free day gone and tomorrow i have to work again. i get home i and i am tired and go play a game. and dont want to work again but then virtual.

i hope i have keep the language friendly for everyone, irl i say what i think but i dont want a ban. i am a fair gamer and fair is also fair rewards for the work that have to be done. i will see what happen now.

bring back the ghost outfit from halloween, i was in gw2 with halloween but rng was **** so i quit for some time before getting angry. i played battlefield 1 en today i saw a link from a guidy about gw2 so i log in and i check the store but the only nice outfit there was gone i get kittened. wtf why remove something nice? i dont play mmo all day so i am not rich, only had 500 gems en needed 40 gold but was tired about mmo and battlefield 1 just came out so i play that. its annoying that some (nice items) only for a short time and i am forced to farm or grind 24/7 to buy it or its gone. further graphics and all are nice but the gemstore need better outfits. i tried to say it a nice way most times when i am angry i say what i think.

yesterday (yes its after 0:00) i did mad kings event on necromancer and got silver medal but no reward chest. then i did the event with druid and got gold medal and a reward chest but only with 2 keys so i got angry. i waited for full event and then this bug.
later i tried (few minutes ago) again on the necro but again no chest reward after completion with gold. the wait times are 2 hours and it sucks. now i missed 1 day loot chest becouse of bugs.
reward chest i mean the 1 that pops up at minimap when complete something.
the 2 keys i got on druid i place at necro with shared bank but fails again.
i want the mini from the chest so bad. or the unopened bat thing for skin. 170 gold.
hope i get something thats worth much soon

further its a nice game if i dont want too much :P graphics are awesome

i didnt like raiding in wow becouse if you want item of end boss you first have to do the whole boring raid. if it doesnt drop you have to clear the whole stuped raid again next week. (exept if you have a save on an alt) but i mean current content.

plus in wow you know what can drop and if it dont drop i got disappointed. for every week it dont drop. and if you go with other ppl that want the same you can lose.
in wod few classes used the same item and stats switch to the talents (spec)

in wow i did old content and every week the same it cost alot of time and if i skip a raid run i felt like i missed a drop. gw2 you add the skin to wardobe. yes wow get this new xpack but its alreadt too late for me

in gw2 i dont know what can drop i see what i get so i am not much disappointed. yes a precursor is possible but everywhere. plus when i want to raid i join a map 15 minutes before spawn and its fine. not a whole raid for nothing. some runs take few hours. gw2 is leave after (world boss) i dont raid in gw2 becouse eh i do other things.

now i stop saying bad things about wow i go play gw2 :P

hi, first of all Quit wow, it sucks. i did last october. the money of that subs you can buy a new game every 4 months (54 euro) for overwatch i dont buy it like now. i am more an fps gamer but i wait for battlefield 1 to come out. till then i stay in gw2. even i am not 100% mmo gamer i bought HoT, i bought gw2 in 2012 but quit few times becouse money making was hard and hard game to learn. but for now i have a goal and i have fun.
before i played battlefield 3 and 4 but much problems with high ping kicks so i tried gw2 again. didnt want to buy a new game. and this game has still awesome graphics so i want to like the game. graphics is prio for me and sounds. further i dont care much, as long as i have fun.

sometimes its a long grind but there are no subs so i can leave the game for 2 weeks and then join again without worry losing money

o and i had read that hot is too expensive for what you get. but when i entered maguuma i know enough. that amezing nice map so much detail i saw in few seconds that its worth the money. maybe the map is small but there is depth its not a flat map so they have put lots of work in it.

i want an option so i can disable the loot of sigils, if i do a tarir chest loot run i have to clear bags every few chests cuz sigils and trash wich are worth nothing then 16 copper.
even trash is worth more sometimes.

then an option to sort bags even if its a crafting material bag or a junk bag or a armor bag.
i bought those 3 bags but it doesnt sorted when i click compact. i moved the bags to a bank char fow now.

an option to sort bags on quality, blues, greens and others.
