ok, this post will probably get buried so i will bump it with this? sorry anet for being bad. i really just want to know if i am really stupid and i am missing some kind of synergy or something. i just cannot figure out for the life of me why the only two bonus traits i can see for scepter and focus are in the zeal category. the 3 predetermined zeal traits that you have to pick along the way as you go up to 30 points are buffs for symbols. and neither scepter nor focus creates or deals with symbols in any way right?

please anybody i would just really appreciate it if you point out what i am missing, even if i feel embarrassed and like a goofball if you tell me something obvious that i missed.

so i wanted to make a guardian with mainly using scepter and focus. if find it odd that the only traits to improve those two weapons are under ‘zeal’, which has the 3 predetermined slots as bonuses for symbols. scepter and focus dont create symbols? am i missing something? seems odd that it is set up this way?

says it grants adrenaline? but if i am totally out it does nto regenerate? so how does it work? ty for any info

yes moonthrower, that is what i meant, Ctrl + LMB etc. i have not had any luck doing this.

is it possible to set a hotkey for some function to ctrl+lmb, or ctrl+rmb, etc. i have been able to set up hotkeys with just one key, but have not been able to to key combos. i like using this kind of a setup so i was wondering if it is possible.

so on my tooltip for rifle ranges say 1200. when i change to longbow ranges say 900. seems they are about the same. is there a bug on the tooltip? or is the range of the longbow shorter? thanks for any info!

lol ty for the advice. anybody have any ideas on traits, utilities, etc? i would stay with the ranger but the pet a.i. is just really starting to drive me nuts.

i have been trying the ranger out, but pet seems not so great on the a.i., various issues. i wanted to get away from having a pet altogether, so i was thinking of a ranged focus warrior. so far i have noticed that the longbow is very weak, but it does have some aoe. the rifle hits harder but has no aoe. i have only played him to level 10, so not a real expert at all.
any advice about how to play a warrior that is focused on ranged attacks? traits? ideas? anything? thanks all for any advice.

ty for the information. we have attributes for ‘power’ etc, i was unable to find one for ‘regeneration’. wish there was such a stat so i could change things around and see how numbers change. but again, ty for the info.

so you are saying if i was crazy and stacked +healing on my gear, it would help my regen rate, but not the regen rate of my pet?

so i am curious, does +healing skill affect regeneration of myself and pet? and also, if i have various signets/traits/skills for regen on myself and/or pet, do these regens stack? was just thinking of some crazy silly regen builds . . .

i am only level 25 so forgive me if my question seems silly if i was 80. i realize that at top levels i can change crafting skills for around 40 silver. but i prefer to have each of my toons have two crafting skills and therefore not have to change around.

but . . . what i am wondering is if at level 80 i will start crafting stuff that is soulbound on creation. for instance, if on my ranger i am a weaponsmith and i create a super-powerful sword at level 80 and want to trade it to my warrior, if it is soulbound on creation i wont be able to (bound to the character as soon as it is crafted).

so far, i have only seen one soulbound item, it was like a level 5 necklace i cannot remember the name.

would really appreciate any information on this. thanks

i am curious. does ‘Signet of the Wild’ (regen for pet and ranger) and ‘Natural Healing’(regen for pet trait) stack? in other words if i take both will my pet have crazy regeneration? yes i realize i will lack in other things to get this, but just curious. i have not found any place in the interface that gives some kind of a regen number so i can activate both and check.
