Seeing as queues are getting longer and longer, especially if we win, I’ve got an idea. I don’t know whether it’s been posted or not but knowing how many players are before you in the queue would help us knowing how much time do I have. Can I go eat / take a break for 5/10mins? Will I have to wait for 30mins? If someone does not wish to wait for so long he/she could do other things – dungeons for example.
It could be a simple counter that shows when you mouse-over the WvWvW icon, just like now it says that you are currently queued. Anyone else has thought of that? Do you consider it a good idea? I’d also like to know if it’s possible to implement – doesn’t seem a huge thing.
1. you guys dont use teamspeak? how you comunicate? (someone wrote something like this)
As far as i can tell each of guilds(or gamings like in our case) that actually care (and not just dummy-claim towers and do nothing with them) have their own TS3/Mumble servers.
But do we have a server-wide communication? Well we’re whispering other Guild Leaders or commanders, but either I don’t know about it (which would be a shame) or simply there is none.
2. your WvW make guilds or your server? (for me it looks like you guys have a lot good and cool guilds but they all do their own thing/focus)
Yeah, seems like to me the same. If we can pop 30 ppl we’re doing our business, but that’s not always possible – then we’re asking our commander to run with so called “randoms” and help us a bit. Sometimes they listen to the tactics, sometimes they follow commander and sometimes not. That’s another place where we could step up – almost everyone rushes on SM unorganized, even when commander says to not go there and defend the 4 trebus on our keep that shoot SM. Zerg dies, nobody defends trebus = another fail.
Yup. They’re the Tier 1 here, and the winners I’m quite sure. It’s all about who’s gonna get 2nd place and stay in Tier 2 now.
However from my point of view they were only good at defending SM. When you have SM – Anzalia is easy cake, simply un-defendable.
Other than that, haven’t seen them that organized. Yeah they’ve got whole eternal today’s morning, and when we came getting it back they were defending a bit, but it wasn’t all that coordinated. They probably went borderlands but who knows.
We’re having the exact same problem Belfagor when we’re Blue. Luckily for us, Spirit event is further from any walls and not many people know about it.
Regarding uncoordinated raids – yeah that’s how majority of our commanders see their job. We’ve got some who can organize stuff, but “some” doesn’t cut it for the whole server. We need to step up as a players on realm rather than few more good commanders.
I do not think so too, I’m just surprised we’re so few. FS was attacked by both of us heavily in the morning, simply because it was an easy target – almost nobody online. They could think the same.
EDIT: I’d love to know what’s wrong on our borderlands that we’re at ~200 points for majority of times, sometimes drops even to 130. And we’ve had all our share on EB yesterday when that happened. Except for SM ofc.
One thing that makes me wonder is where all the BT players are? Last week we’ve had queues on EB whole day, and this week, when we need players, it’s empty. Always empty. Where’s the full population server we’ve been for last months?
Today we’ve been defending Ogrewatch for like 30mins, FS were the attackers. We’ve had all the upgrades, and 700supplies, many sieges around etc. Thing is, you just showed up there when we were like 3-5 from guild to watch around, and immediately started building siege. Fortunately for us, you didn’t really manage to finish them =p
Rarely I’ve seen an organized attack, so we called some of our forces, which we lack. half of us were defending Anzalia from greens, rest ogrewatch. A little fail on our side, was to fire the guild buffs like half way into the fight.
We’ve been rebuilding the sieges like 3 times, repairing gates. We were obviously fewer. After like 15mins we knew it’s not gonna end well if we just stay on the walls. Especially that you’ve had trebu, 2 ballistas (or 3 later) and catas on ogre camp. Some of our force tried to get through the ogre camp entrance but that’s impossible with that many siege there.
So few of us made a team and went around to hit you from Durios side. First time we’ve managed to get the trebu down, then we all died. You’ve rebuilt it obviously. The only way we could push you off was to try again, better. Luckily for us our commander had a few minutes to spare – we took 6 ppl, went there, build a ballista on west side of the camp, on the hill. Before you noticed(or at least it seemed so) the treb was down, we’ve defended it for a bit to take down your siege. We’ve took down it all I think in 3 tries total, our force could enter, we pushed to Durios.
We did manage to take Durios, problem was to defend it. Trebus on SM, your keep was close – quite tough one. After so long defense, a one I rarely have, we thought we’re safe for a while and can focus greens back again. There was a plan about WC. I with very few of us stayed on Durios, rest went Anzalia or to defend the trebus on our keep that kept firing SM north.
We lost Durios. Soon after we’ve realized that fully upgraded Ogrewatch we’ve been defending for last 30mins was lost. We’ve left it for 2 – 3mins to help out other guild on Durios. That was enough for Elona to get there and zerg the gate. I’ve no idea how much they were, but people from the force that went Anzalia said that there was like nobody.
Clearly you guys know how to fight. Whether was it pure luck or great spy somewhere there – guess I’ll never know, although I’d like to. Gonna be an interesting match-up. And definitely not easy on us. I just hope we will manage to stay in T1.
PS. If we’d have the same numbers of ppl as you do it would probably look different – you seem to drop very fast. No healers, only glass-cannons or lowbies, or all of that mixed up.
Health Potion isn’t only a Guild Wars 2 guild. We’re a community playing together under Health Potion multi-gaming banner. Many of us have played with each other for a long time, creating bonds that will never break.
In past, we’ve played many other MMO’s – World of Warcraft being one of the few that kept us for very long. Our last game was Diablo 3. Part of us is still playing it and loving it, having fun and helping each other. Some of us however didn’t really like the game so we started searching for another one.
So here we are.
We’re looking for active and helpful people, who never give up no matter how bad it is.
We’re not aiming to have thousands of players. We’re aiming to have enough active players, to actually play WvWvW the way it is supposed to be played. We have a highly skilled commander and people that know the drill. We’re the ones defending the keep for hours when you though you’ve already got it.
While our main activity is indeed WvWvW, we play (or actually sometimes even farm) PvE to get the gear (for many different reasons) and have strong sPvP teams. Add the will to help others on boss events (including lower level ones) and dragons on top of that and you can see – we’re very active, seeking players who enjoy the game as we do, or even more!
We’ve decided to create an Academy for our gaming, so people that do not meet the requirements, or simply still need to level up a bit can join us, play with us, use our page, TeamSpeak and forums – this helps everybody, because you have everything that Health Potion members do and we can get to know you while you level up – no need to be a recruit then!
Our requirements for Health Potion [HP]:
- Age: 18+
- Nationality: Polish
- Level: 75+
- Working microphone for our TeamSpeak3 server and the will to use it (mandatory)
- Representation of our guild (we allow being in multiple guilds, however we require our members, to represent us for the majority of time, especially during guild events)
If you do not meet these requirements, we’re more than happy to welcome You into our Academy – Health Potion Academy [HPa].
What do we offer:
- Helpful community – You can always find someone to talk to, ask about stuff, explore the dungeons with
- Professional TeamSpeak3 server and website with no adds and all the information you could wish for.
- Leadership that listens to idea’s of members and puts them in place ( the good ones :) )
- Class Leaders that will never tell you to google stuff and will give you practical advices.
For more information visit Health Potion website. If you feel like dropping an apply – you can easily do it on our page.
See you in game.
