Guild Wars 2

I honestly think this is one of the easy dungeons, im not just saying that because op finds it hard i just honestly think its really easy. I can see where if you don’t know what your doing Alpha in path 2/3 would be a problem but really 2 war’s who know what their doing can Duo Alpha without problem. All War/guardian party’s destroy this dungeon.

The key is don’t run around trying to avoid the Aoe Attacks, just time it with a dodge. The timing never changes and if your not running around the aoe from each other’s attacks will get rid of the crystals.

Just found a random pug to prove a point, think there was 2 people here that haven’t done it before, no one really told them what to do and we still managed a pretty decent time. Every pug i’ve been in has been somewhat the same.

Five random people join a group, 2 of them run around not knowing what to do the whole time and it still gets done rather easily.

IF your in a crystal his ice aoe attack does less dmg and you won’t go down which means any melee class can get you out of it in time.

As far as the retaliation, i agree with the other guy, i’ve never taken it out and never had a problem, the only person to ever go down is the one who is running around the room dodging. You must have the worst luck with pubs.

Not sure you need a guide for this, as long as you have 2 people who know how to dodge alpha then you can just break the crystal’s off each other and kill alpha together, let the other 3 die and run back the whole time. I’ve pugged this many times and never had any problems, theres always been at least 1 other melee who knew what they were doing. I honestly consider this second easiest next to CoF.

Just wondering if there is a world that is Dungeon Specific? or one that is more populated with people wanting to do dungeon’s. Right now im on IOJ which is more a WVW world and its hard to find a group for anything other than COF.

done this about 10 times all with just random pugs and we’ve never had a problem, don’t bother with crystals and he will drop like a rock. 15-20 minute run tops.
