I would appreciate if VII blobbed more to form 25-30 ppl groups in situations where the enemy don’t have 10-15 mans on the map, so that I don’t have to feel bad about killing them with 2x their numbers.
No need to feel bad, It’s the guild model we’ve chosen and we accept its drawbacks. We prefer to get more out of our existing players than mass recruiting to compete/win.
Holding hands with another guild to make up numbers on our raid is out of the question, way to proud.
I don’t care if there are 2 guilds of around 30 fighting togheter like some days that we faced HoB and VII (i think they were those) and generate lag.
Wait, are you complaining about VII and HoB playing together few nights back and having 30 guys in total againts the BB zerg, and these two guilds causing massive lag, or did I misunderstand this somehow?
You misunderstood Reann. He is saying HoB and VII both run around 30 then zerg up to 60 odd and cause lag. Just the old forum rule of doubling a guilds numbers to justify a loss. Nothing new here.
I kinda want to strangle my servers frequent posters sometimes. Crying about hacks and zergs just makes you look weak and that reflects on those of us who moulded Piken into what it is.
I for one, love fighting when outnumbered massively and if I see someone hacking, I’ll make sure their guild pays the penalty on the field…..not the forum.
Nice fights tonight at Augory Rock BL against [VII], you played together really well. Just as last time we didn’t have much of a chance. But we from [dw] appreciate that as we can learn from it and come out stronger until we’re a decent match for you guys.

VII will be in AR zone tonight running 15+ guild raid. Hopefully some of the Riverside guilds will be there for good fights. Lets make the most of it before tomorrow floods the lakes with PVErs testing the new patch.

It may not be difficult to implement yet there will be consequences. I believe Anet’s vision for WvW was a fairly casual battleground and what they got were many highly organised, competitive guilds taking it quite seriously.
On a server like Piken Square, the addition of a GvG zone would pretty much end WvW. Many guilds, including my own would transfer their main focus to the new GvG format. It would be awesome although at the same time cripple Anet’s baby..
In VII we do ask friendlies to follow another commander during our guild raids and the reasons for doing so are numerous. Mainly It’s poor distribution of manpower to stick to a guild raid if there are other commanders available and I won’t even start on the hazards of the rally system when you run an average of 15 vs all.
With that said, I like to think we are respectful with our requests. We know VII only plays 3-4 hours primetime, it’s the friendlies who make Piken tick.

this game is only zerg and blob,on forum no one zerg all move as guild,in game vii zerg,snc zerg,Ka zerg ALL guild of the server zerg,with word all can say what want,but the action in game show the real thing.

VII can be removed from that list. We have 33 active accounts on Roster and run average 15 in WvW every day in EU prime-time. Everyone on Piken knows this and thankfully Lloantix can now confirm it.
It’s flattering that some people on Gandara pretty much double our numbers although frustrating at the same time. It really does look like screaming zerg/numbers is the first line of defence when justifying a wipe for some of the Gandara players who post here.
Hats off to Lloantix. It must have taken balls of steel for a dirty x-realmer to badge up and lead against his own server. It really let VII play our raid the way we like it while he was online.
Can the Gandara guys be as kind as to let us know who the big guilds/30 man guilds are on Piken? It would really help our raid planner if we could get them onto our Community site.
Quite dissapointed by the matchup so far. BLAK (RA) are the only guild raid we’ve encountered and we are three days in. I guess we have been unlucky with zone choice.
VII will be in Gandara BL again tonight if anyone likes the 15-20 man guild roaming scene.

As posted above, look at all the servers which actually want players before considering Piken and if you do end up there, expect a lot of hostility. Pikey’s are kitten off.

Okay obviously you guys didn’t like my entire Gandara pulling together to form a resistance idea; [TUP], [VII], [DT], [SU], [siN], [HoB]… overkill much? xD Think all we were missing was Red Guard and Boon Control… (not sure about GG, they had a fair amount of people, but not sure was just random or not)
I get really jealous when I think how much fun that must be. I imagine it’s quite intense but fun none the less.

If it’s ever found, there will be no motivation for Piken guilds to invade and the end credits roll for our server. If VII get to it first, it’s going in the river.
Thanks for the fights last night in Gandara BL. It’s really nice to see Gand and AR running some guild raids instead of the standard huge pug zergs most servers resort to. First time we faced DL and they gave a good showing of themselves. New guild to Gandara?

Yeah this week our lack of organisation has really been punished by TUP and VII in particular, having seen it, its surprising it hasn’t cost us more in this match or previous ones.
Today was VII’s first day back after a 2 week break.
Gandara is a new opponent to us at VII and hopefully houses some strong guilds. As more of the Piken guilds return, I’m sure any damage done to our servers reputation will be repaired when Gandarians realise they have not been communicating with the majority.
We already know the guys from AR. Hi again and well done with the points this matchup.
We actually need help to shake off the rust. We will hit Gandara BL every night from 19:00gmt – 22:00gmt until the pairing changes. Organised guilds and zergs from both servers welcome to swarm us.

VII selected the RP server (Piken) because we thought it was our best chance at hardmode WvW. We have been there since launch and consider ourselves integrated with the mixedbag community. Piken works for us and we will not be going anywhere regardless of the servers “rank”.
Very impressed with Kodash, only server so far to block the 3-4 hours a day when Piken goes all out. Enjoying the number of fights and we will do all that we can to stay in this tier.
You have missed the fun KC. Over the weekend we could switch to any zone as a guild without Q’s. Sadly that ends tonight now that the event is over and the week begins.
It’s been a fun 2 weeks and I cant deny that this matchup has changed all three servers. VII will be taking the night off to prepare for the week ahead.

Turtling and Portal bombing are the current meta tactics. Why spend time complaining when you can be mastering your counters?
I speak on behalf of VII only when I say we are completely fine with our opponents using them. I personally think it’s a good thing that AM are adapting and trying new things to counter the PS organised guild onslaught.
What a difference tonight. On GH BL no Q’s when the guild raids began and working with familiar guilds/commanders. Huge improvement on last night by PS in that zone.
As the 24/7 initiative on Blacktide dies down and PS peaks , our servers will meet somewhere in the middle. Hope CIR etc have improved a lot, was a bit of a no contest last time.
Same issues in GH BL, VII could not get our full force in. Communication was also a shambles. 15 x VII, 15 x DT, 10 x GoW and 10 x AFTL working as before. The rest of the Piken players? I have no idea where they were or what they contributed. There was one new commander present that did not type once. Seriously?
It’s the first time in a long time we have failed to flip a full BL during Primetime.
Have to agree with Sylas, infact Piken has improved dramatically since the departure of RG. After the switch to Whiteside to work against their own server many people would not coordinate with them. Now everyone is pulling in the same direction!
The problem is that Piken could afford to lose a few primetime guilds while it could result in a server like GH’s relegation. From what I understand they could not fill the lakes prior to these guilds jumping ship.
Sorry to hear guilds left GH for Piken. As far as I am aware, noone asked them to switch. All the people involved in the Piken war effort know our servers downfall will come in the form of these fairweather guilds blocking our organised Piken forces from the lakes.
Our server (Piken) organisation is still in its infancy. Before thinking about T5, we still need to win another week in T6, let alone this week. If AM and GH focus us next week its entirely possible that we will not progress. However I doubt many Piken would care if we stayed T6, the fights are constant and a lot of fun.
Seriously, all three servers are in tier 6. None of us are superstars.
Point wise it’s been very even so far and each server has a strong gain at various times of the day. I find myself checking the scores from work frequently.
As far as battles go, we’re loving the activity of both AM and GH. As previously stated VII have been restricted to AM BL so far but hope to get a chance at GH shortly. Someone told us we may get a good fight out of a guild called KISS. Hopefully we will encounter them soon.
