This arguing over $50 is pathetic, its a one time $50 you spend, and never have to again on this game. Half of the people complaining have spent easily over $100 on just gems, so why is $50 so unfair? They are charging people the same price as any other gaming company in this world today charges. Get over it, its $50. If that is too much money then either you don’t truly like this game enough to invest in it, or you should be making money instead of playing it.

Why are people crying over the price so much? Have you never bought an xpac for any MMO ever? Every MMO i’ve played the xpac is $50+, and if you believe the amount of content in the xpac is lacking , please go back and look everything you are getting.

If it is successful, explain why TERA dropped its subscription based format for a completely free to play model?

If it helps, season 1 was kind of bad compared to season 2 imo :P but besides that, many youtubers have done videos that explain all of season 1. WoodenPotatoes i believe has one that sums up the entire season in under an hour if you are interested!

I know this has most likely come up before but, why does the legendary scepter look so poor compared to the others. I love being a s/d ele, but i cant push myself to make this legendary for what i am getting out of it!

All of the other legendaries give off cool flashy effects, a pattern on the floor when you walk, but the scepter just a blue little stream when the weapon moves.

Does anybody else feel this way?

Maybe they are on a deadline and only have time to develop one fractal, and instead of them just throwing one out there, letting us decide on which one it gets to be.

They could be working on an expansion or something similar and don’t have time to be implementing all of the fractals they want to add.

I main an ele, have 100% world complete and am working towards my legendary. But I don’t get it, why all the complaining, is there a dps meter im not seeing? Are you dying a lot? I for one NEVER die. I am an ele how can i die? I never get kicked from groups, and seem to do fine both pvp and pve. So what is the big deal? Mainly staff eles i see the most complaining about, i used to be staff and never found anything wrong with it (I’m s/d now since i like the spells better, more fast paced). So can somebody please explain to me how we are “underpowered”?

I have the meta achievement already plus more and still don’t have that 40 crystals yet. You don’t NEED to do them if you just want the meta. I hear the reward for the 40 crystals isn’t that great anyways.

you can only receive one chest per day, i have 3.5k chiev points, so i get one chest per day, per 500 points. My last chest i get is monday i think.

Did anet mention if they were going to be updating the effects of some legendaries? I really like scepter on my ele, but it does bother me that this legendary is a main handed legendary with no real effects. Yes it look cool, but it needs something flashy or like footprints.

I think we should be able to buy two, but make the others in the cash shop. It will make anet money to keep the game up, and even then you can just convert gold to gems

I play an ele as my main and use staff and scepter/d. For staff i have certain traits, s/d i have certain traits as well. And It does get annoying going to LA, talk to the trainer, and redo my traits every time i need to do a new weapon. Why not introduce multi traits? You can have up to 2 (duel-traits), and if you want more you can buy them in the gem store. I think this is very convenient and will help out a lot of people who are tired of going back to the trainer to redo their traits. what do you guys think?

Do you still think a ranger is worth leveling to 80 though, i mainly pve, but do some spvp and wvw on the side.

Well, it seems like rangers aren’t good at all? The pros seem to be not that good and the cons are huge deals that should be fixed. does anet not see rangers are this bad?

I mainly play an ele, and a guardian on the side. I want a medium armor class and was wondering if i should be a ranger or engi? i hear good and bad things about rangers, what are the pros and cons of them?
