I guess some people just get the luck of the drop, my luck isn’t so well and trying to get leather is really starting to get annoying. Maybe if Anet would make it to where you could toggle getting the map level your in drops vs getting lvl 80 drops
I’ve searched to see if this is a topic and didn’t see anything so here it goes. Why not have skinning as a gathering ability, i know it sound like WoW, but it would ease the strain on trying to get leather. Anet could even put out an infinite skinning knife like other gathering tools. Some things you could be able to skin to get leather scraps…or even some other sub type of leather scrap you could combine to get leather scrap could be: bear, skales, deer, the wild cat types (tiger, panther, etc), raptors, bats, drakes…just to name a few. Have the type of leather pertain to the level that you are skinning.
Have humanoid type enemies drop cloth that pertains to the level your a killing…take it out of the bag drop containers and have them also drop a bag.
Just trying to think of things that would cut down the price on some of the things in the trading post so players that aren’t hardcore could obtain mats at a better rate.
Been to Frostgorge a couple of times and it seems this person is always in the same spot, doing the same thing. They won’t respond so I’m going to consider him a bot.
